After going to the same hair stylist for a decade, I wanted to find someone who was close and wasn't impossible to schedule with. After a couple mediocre experiences at other Roots Salon locations, I found someone available to cut my hair at this location. When I showed up for the first appointment with her, she was unexpectedly sick, and learned that Ana would be cutting my hair for me. After a few cuts, STRAIGHT cuts, I really began to appreciate her precision and accuracy when she did hair. She was always great to be around and I wanted to revisit getting my hair highlighted after 2 years of growth. We talked about the vision and what I was hoping for at the beginning of the appointment, and by the end, it was evident she had really outdone herself. I have very long, thick hair that is intimidating to many hair stylists; however, Ana never showed any hesitation or reservations about tackling my mane. Not only is the color perfect, my hair has never felt healthier and stronger in my life. Ana is such a sweet woman, and I love spending time with her whenever my hair needs some attention. Not to mention, she did this perfect job after being off for over 2 months because of Covid. I never trust people easily with my hair because it is very important to me that it looks good, Ana made it AMAZING and really executed my vision for the color. I cant even tell you how happy I am with the stylist and services at Root Salon. Once I was done I called my Mom and Sister and sent them pictures immediately after so they could see my hair and how awesome it was.. I just Raved about Roots! They know how I havent always had the best experiences at other Salons so I was nervous to go for the first time. My stylist was Jae (shes thr best of the BEST) she was thorough, she explained things to me, she Listened to what I wanted, she formulated a plan with me And did exactly what she said she would do. She was straight up with what we could achieve regarding the color goals I had for my hair. It was the Best color, cut, and service I have Ever had!! Hands down. Period. Also when my friend refer me during all this Covid stuff- I thought for sure I wouldn't be able to get in.. Nope, they got me scheduled within a week! They practiced safe protocols and great social distancing. And I got $20 for my friend referring me and so did they. I am so thrilled to have finally found a salon and stylist that I am excited to go back to! The salon is an inviting and clean environment, they use high quality products, and the prices are very reasonable. I had the good fortune of booking with Erika, and she is seriously AMAZING. She was considerate and mindful of my concerns, she thoughtfully answered all of my questions, and I felt very comfortable in her care - or should I say, chair : ) I went to Erika for very natural-looking highlights and a manageable cut. She did exactly what I asked for and it looked even better than I had imagined. It's obvious that she really knows what she is doing, cares about what she is doing, and enjoys what she is doing. Flynn was amazing! First off, when she greeted me she used hand sanitizer that was available in the salon at the table I was sitting at while I was waiting and then asked me to use some if I hadn't before her approaching me. I appreciated this as this was my first time in a salon since the Covid-19 pandemic. She was super friendly and soo knowledgeable! She was able to understand where I was coming from with my personal insecurities and inexperience with my own hair. She explained everything she was doing to help me learn some tricks that would work for me and I am grateful for the extra time she spent with me especially as a new client. I have a lot of thick, dark hair, but Ana has helped me achieve my hair goals nonetheless and I always leave her chair happy. She's helped me lighten up with gorgeous caramel highlights, try red with a Demi-permanent color, and has given me excellent cuts. One of my favorite parts about Ana is that she really listens to my needs and concerns . I am a low maintenance girl and only use minimal (1-2) styling products. I've been to other salons where the stylists will use several products and my hair looks great leaving the salon, but then I can never achieve that look again at home and I'm left disappointed. I've never experienced that at Roots with Ana. She uses reasonable products and makes sure I know what they're for and how to use at home if I wanted. read more

I go see Veronica, and she is awesome! She's very friendly, and always makes sure you're satisfied. The salon is very clean, and in such a convenient location with tons of shopping and restaurants nearby. I initially heard from roots through a friend, and she gave me a $15 off any service card, and when I got there, everyone was so nice and made me feel like a very valued customer. I have never had a stylist that I visited regularly until Veronica cut my hair! She has has a great eye for style, I've gone through several dramatic (for me) hair changes, and loved them all, I definitely recommend! Oh, and she is the best I've ever seen for shellac manicures! Lisa is AMAZING! I have to say that after trying many different stylists, I finally found one that did exactly what I envisioned! I tried to explain what I wanted but didn't know that the process I was thinking about wasn't going to give me the look I wanted. She explained a different technique and my hair turned out incredible! I was so impressed with the different dimensions of blonde and how natural it looks. My hair is also so thick and heavy so when I asked her to make it lighter she did not disappoint! I feel like my hair has such bounce and I can pull it back with no pain! I have been seeing Bailey Rose at Roots Salon in Brookfield for close to 3 years. She is talented, fun and does an excellent job with color, cuts, styling and nails. She listens to your needs and desires and then blends that information with her knowledge and experience to give you a cut and/or color that you will love! She has lots of great advice and hands on instruction for you on how to style your hair once you leave the salon to maintain your gorgeous new look. Bailey is informed and experienced with Roots' product lines and knows which product will work best for your hair and hairstyle. I chose Theresa from the online profiles on Roots website because it mentioned her proficiency with short cuts. I lost my hair during chemo and visited her first with a pixie. She has really kept my hair looking great during the awkward growing out phase. My color is beautiful. I've changed it frequently and it still feels healthy. She persists until my hair meets her high standards. What I love most is that she does a consistently good job. My previous stylist give me the best and the worst haircuts of my life, I was nervous every time I sat in his chair. I went in on Tuesday to see Faye, for my very first time at Roots. I had emailed with her a few weeks prior and made an appointment for a much needed haircut in October. Well I ended up with a hair emergency on Monday ( lifted my color one time too many!),and destroyed my shoulder length hair. Faye understood my immediate emergency and got me in later that evening. She was wonderful and did a great job on my cute new pixie cut. I recommend my stylist at Roots Brookfield to all my family and friends! I moved out of the area and tried other salons, but ended up back at Roots with Bailey, my stylist of over 3 years, after seeing some less than desired results elsewhere. Having a stylist that I can truly trust has allowed me to try a variety of cuts and colors with the assurance that my hair will look great. Bailey has given me great cuts and colors along with instructing me on how to duplicate the look at home. Roots is a great salon, its conveniently located on Bluemound Rd. And is a clean, friendly environment. The girls at the front deck are always smiling and very helpful. Jae, my stylist, is fantastic! She's always upbeat, friendly and lets me know what the best deals and promos are (which I really appreciate). She does a wonderful job with my hair, always getting both the color and cut just right! Andrea did a color blocking on me and it turned out so good!!! I've only every gotten highlights and balayage so this was a big move for me. my initial appointment we didn't quite get the right color for the underneath so she had me come back the next day free to tone it again, I decided to go a little more darker and she also redid my bangs, I'm usually nervous about asking but she is super nice and understanding. the vibes in the salon and awesome. This Salon offers everything you could need at good prices and the Staff is excellent! After having one hair catastrophe after another at other Salons, I don't go anywhere else but here and have never been disappointed! @Amber Amaro always does a great job in making sure I get exactly what I need to keep my hair looking gorgeous and healthy.
