Came in today to see if I needed a root canal. When I came in , I was surprised how professional and clean the dental place looked. Desiree, the receptionist, welcomed me and made me feel like home. Patsy, treatment planner, was clear with all the info. Turn out I needed a root canal, and was surprised they could've done it the same day! I really was satisfied with the great atmosphere this office has. I was referred by my dentist and was a little hesitant from past experiences but it was the total opposite by all means. From the front office Ms.Lizz (btw she is such a sweetheart and very helpful with rescheduling my app.) to the girls assisting with the X-rays they just don't have that funky attitude I've dealt with in the past. The dentist himself also was so polite and made me feel very comfortable and surprisingly he was quick with two of my root canals. Okay the thought of a root canal is never fun...But This was the best dental visit I ever had.First I walked into the office and it looked great. I was greeted by Desiree and she quickly facilitated my appointment; she had great customer service skills throughout my appointment and made the experience that much better. The procedure was very painless with local anesthetic and doctor Pham was very polite and thorough. Dr. Pham and her assistant Raffie made the procedure very pleasant and their skill to match. The procedure went quickly but was not a rush job. I had to make an appointment here, sadly, due to incompetence at my original dentist. Being a public school employee, my health insurance options are limited. But I was so impressed with the staff and the work at Rootvision Endo! The facility is clean and comfortable, the doctor took time with me on my consultation, really listened and guided me, and my actual procedure was literally painless. Unbelievable but true!! I think Dr. Pham is one of those who went to dental school because of the pain she likes to inflict. I went there on a referral from my dentist for possible root canal. They took x-ray and everything was going fine. Then Dr Pham shows up, asks about the crown that is on that tooth (The age of it) it was an old crown. I told her it wasn't currently hurting but 8 weeks ago it was pretty painful. So she gets this steel rod with something on it and freezes the tip, touched it to my tooth and I nearly jumped up out of the seat the pain was intense. She said yeah that's not good, lets try to tooth next to it. It had a small reaction, then lets try the tooth across no real reaction. Then she came back to the same tooth and did the same thing only this time she pushed down hard and held it there to where I did jump up out of the chair, the pain was excruciating. I asked what the h*** she thought she was doing. She said testing the tooth, I told her you already did, and asked her what was she thinking and what was wrong with her? I then told her she can not treat me and that I was going to report her actions. First I had to yelp it, now I'll copy and paste this as a base for my letter to the American Dental association and my insurance company. RIDICULOUS. Why is it so hard to find a caring competent dentist? Stay away unless you are one of those psycho's that like pain. read more

My wife had a bad root canal done at a previous location so she found Root Vision Endo in Lakewood through yelp and because it had great reviews she decided to check it out. The reviews weren't wrong. She was greeted very well by the staff Desiree was the receptionist the first they she went and was very helpful with the paperwork that my wife needed to fill out since it was her first time here. At first my wife thought it would be a long wait but she was seen almost immediately. Debbie the dental assistant and the doctor Dr. Sagong both were very nice and informative when it came down to what needed to be done. Once they did the initial check up they said they could do the procedure that same day within an hour which was something my wife didn't expect she thought she would have to make another appointment at a later date. Although my wife could stay for an hour Ann the office manager was able to help her set up an appointment for the following morning. The following morning she was again greeted by the friendly staff. This time the receptionist was Patsy who helped my wife sign in and in no time she was called in to start the procedure. All in all this place is great. The entire staff is very professional and nice. And you won't be kept waiting a long period of time before than can see you like at some other places read more

Disgusting! This place is rude, sad staff and a displeasure to behold. Unfortunately had the awful experience of being serviced here, and all I can say is I will not be returning! From the moment I walked into the putrid recycled air filled lobby, I could tell that my visit would not be pleasant, but nonetheless I advanced and decided to brave my poor decision....The woman at the counter mumbled something to me, so when I asked if she could repeat herself she gave me a rude snarky comment about not paying attention to her...when I gave her my insurance card she threw it back and said we don't service you're kind...maybe it was something to do with my PPO? I had to have a root canal retreated, so I was referred to Root vision. Every aspect of my visit was great. Tge office was clean and has a relaxing atmosphere. The office staff was friendly and quickly got me an appointment. Everything was clearly explained to me and the doctor made sure she thoroughly answered all of my questions. I was referred here by my primary dentist because the Dr. Was away for the weekend so I had no choice but to come to this dentist and I'm beyond glad I did!!! They were able get me in on extremely short notice and I am always thankful for facilities who are able to accommodate to patients when they know they are in need. As forewarned, I did have some soreness afterwards, which is normal, but less than a day later I'm feeling back to my usual self (tooth-wise). Staff was very friendly, expedient and polite. Our primary dentist contacted our insurance to get a referral for my 8 year old son who has severe tooth pain. We were referred here after being referred to a children's dentist who wouldn't help him because it's an adult tooth that hurts. When we got there, the receptionist pointed out they had the wrong age listed on his paperwork but they corrected it in their files. We get into the room for X-rays. Their big outdated film strips were hurting my sons mouth enough to bring him to tears. After about 15 minutes of trying they finally got a picture. The dentist comes in and tells us they don't treat minors his age and referred him somewhere else. She never looked in his mouth. Why put him through the ordeal of a painful X-ray if you are never going to treat him. Then, the dentist says she will write a prescription for pain meds and antibiotics. We tell her that Tylenol hasn't been helping but please make the antibiotic prescription for a tablet. She was surprised that he would take a tablet as most kids wanted the liquid. We get to the front counter and are given a post it to go somewhere else. I mention the prescription and she leaves to speak to the dr and she comes back and says to buy Motrin. I say what about the antibiotics and she points to our paperwork saying he's already getting it. I say yes and he only has two days left and there is still infection . They didn't care. Why would the dentist say she would prescribe it then hide in the other room ? Why wouldn't any of the other 4 people we have contact with not mention they don't treat children his age? Oh wait, because they want to bill our insurance unneeded charges . read more

First of all people this a dental place not a resort. Please understand its never a great pleasure to have ur mouth opened for long periods of time, to have a foreign object in your mouth or any residual pain. I've been here 2 or 3 times and have never had any problems. Dr Pham is wonderful. She's very meticulous with her work. The girls at the front are fabulous. (Anne, Patsy, and Rosie) Also I like to say thank you to Debbie a dental assistant. She was very professional and receptive. Thank you guys for always doing a great job. The most horrific dental experience of my life! 2 hour procedure drilling which felt like she was drilling into my brain. Definitely NO bed-side manner at all! The assistant was jabbing the suction device as if she was trying to win the next knock out fight and kept choking me out with the x-Ray vest. I will not be using this facility for my follow up treatment! I can appreciate maximizing time for efficiency; However, it felt more life an assembly line with Long waits: 20-25 minutes left drooling on yourself in pain without any assistance, a couple different times during the procedure- while Dr. Pham was juggling in other patients!! Great experience came in here with a lot of anxiety . They were super helpful and geared to making me feel welcome and calm. Erin the manager and Desiree right away welcomed me with a smile.I walked in super anxious they gave me water and talked to me to relieve some of my nerves. The dental assistant Justine was great very knowledgeable you can tell right away that she knows what she is doing. Through out my procedure she checked on me and insured that I was feeling okay. Dr Hoon Sagong was very informative and explained everything step by step which made me feel at ease. Dr. Sagong made sure that my experience was painless and he was thorough and very detail orientated and made sure that everything was done correctly.Erin and Desiree were both amazing they were able to provide me with a doctors note. I also noticed that on my fila they noted "TLC anxiety" little details like that to make sure I was well taken care of. I am usually usually terrified of dentist but this place made me realise that if you go to the right people it won't be an issue. Defiantly a place to be left with NO WORRIES!!! Also they work with you if you are short on cash they want you to be taken care of. read more

Annie was my endodontist. She was AMAZING. Very therapeutic, very in tune with how much pain, explained everything, with excellent bedside manners. I was blown away. Front office staff was also very kind. I'm not as happy with the assistant for my root canal. She was pretty rough, jammed x-ray plates into my mouth, and now I have canker sores in those pained areas while my root canal area is trying to heal. She was also rough with the suctioning, poking me roughly near my uvula area. I grimaced and she wasn't sensitive at all to that. There were also many times I found it so difficult to breathe because saliva was collecting near my throat but I was gurgling in it (your mouth is open for hours during this uncomfortable procedure). I was getting pretty upset, but I didn't say anything. I also had the TV on but noticed that she would watch it often during the procedure! (Say "no" to having the TV on when they ask you!). Now mind you, I would rather have a subpar assistant and a great endodontist (Annie) VS a great assistant and bad endodontist. There's a lot of room for improvement here as far as the assistant goes. Overall Annie was so amazing and front staff polite, that I would have to still give this place 4 stars despite my negative experience with assistant. read more

I had a root canal performed recently, on June 8, 2016. First I must express the office was very clean, calming and tranquil which i needed because i was consumed with pain and Anxiety with knowing what's ahead. My first encounter upon arrival was with Erin at the front desk whom was very pleasant, friendly and professional. I also had the pleasure of dealing with Patsy in the front office as well, she is very sweet and friendly as well. My dental assistant Rafie and Dr. Sagong are AMAZING !!!!! Dr. Sagong explained the procedure and process in detail and answered every question i had each time i asked. ( some i asked twice LOL) Rafie along with Dr. Sagong took away all anxiety, at some point before the oral surgery I was laughing and cracking jokes. I must say my visit at this facility was the BEST experience i have had when visiting a dental office. Erin, Patsy, Fafie and Dr. Sagong are the true representation of EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! I will most definitely refer Family and Friends to RootVision Endo in Bellflower. I have a upcoming appointment this Friday for another issue which i have no hesitation or reservation about my upcoming visit.
