The canal bike path is beautiful - peaceful, pristine, and not crowded. Beach Realty enforces the occupancy limit so if you are looking to rent a party house and cram a lot of people into it, this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a house, large or small, to share with family and friends, it's a perfect area. Their fee is relatively high but fair, considering they do all of the work and we never needed to interface in any way with our renters. They also were helpful with recommending local services as needed and made great suggestions to improve the overall desirability of our home for rental. I'd recommend going through Beach Realty for all rental needs. They are true professionals with a real pulse on the East Sandwich/upper Cape housing and rental market.

After this she directed us to the Capital Vacations representative who was really trying to get us to attend a timeshare meeting, when we politely declined she offered us more money to attend and started asking us a lot of questions and was very hesitant to take no as an answer. We stood our ground as that's just not something we are interested in doing. Upon arriving to the building we were staying in there was a pile of trash outside the door that remained for the rest of our stay. The smell of the hallways and the units were a bit off putting, and you can tell by certain quirks that the units aren't deeply cleaned. Such as residues in the sinks and walls and finding food behind the tv stand. The units are certainly dated, but they are a decent size for the price, two full size bathrooms, a living/dining area, a bedroom (with a really comfy bed) , a patio and a kitchen with pretty much everything you need (we asked the front desk for a baking sheet and they had one that we could use). The customer service was great through our entire stay, and what really made this review a 3 star instead of 2. This place really needs some updates if they want to keep charging the prices they do. To be fair we came in the winter so we weren't able to utilize all the other amenities such as the mini golf, but I'm not sure that would make a difference for me.

I recently stayed at a Del Mar vacation rental as a person who was invited by another who paid for…read morethe rental. This was at Dennisport, MA, more on listed at 1 mile from the beach. The house was very nice and clean. The only real problem there, was no internet or cable. So if you want to stream, you better make sure you have either a roku or google chrome cast with you. Since none of the TV are smart tv's! Also the internet is a little buffering problem. If you wpn't have cable then at least for the amount you pay, have a smart tv. Or just have cable based on what they want to rent the place!
