    Eagle Rate Old Fashioned
    Nick B.

I booked the speakeasy at Roquette for my buddy's bachelor party, and it ended up being one of the highlights of the trip. We arrived around 5:00 PM and were greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable mixologist. While looking over the menu, he asked what I typically enjoy drinking. I told him I'm a big fan of an Old Fashioned, and he suggested an Eagle Rare Old Fashioned. It was, without question, one of the best Old Fashioneds I've ever had at any establishment. The balance of flavors was outstanding, and the attention to detail was obvious from the first sip. I was so impressed by both the drink and the overall experience that I asked him how he made it and what ingredients he used so I could try to recreate it at home. While I'm probably only 90% of the way there, I'll never quite match the perfection he achieved that evening. The atmosphere, service, and cocktails were all exceptional. If you're looking for a great speakeasy experience in Seattle, I highly recommend checking this place out.

Fun specialty cocktails and beautiful space. A favorite bar of some friends my first time visiting. Stopped by before dinner near by. Always love finding a good craft cocktail bar. Staff is friendly and helpful in making decisions that suit your taste. I started with the Suede Umbrella, my friends had a Tuk Tuk Tang and Guavacita. Second round they had the Panic Button and I had the Roquette Martini. Well balanced cocktails. Extensive list.. would definitely visit again when in Belltown.

HH is so fun here! the place is cozy and a cute cocktail spot. No food, but an incredible places for drinks & such great service. Our server provided great recs - the banana shot was decadent and I don't even love naners.

We decided to swing by Roquette on a random Friday night. The place is a bit small with limited seating so we are lucky to get a table for a large group on such short notice. They have a rotating menu which is interesting, so you never know what you might have in the menu. We tried a bunch of different drinks: the Gucci slipper, Guavacita, Golden Hour, panic button, old fashioned and space coyote. The reason for the 3 stars is the taste of the cocktails. Out of the many cocktails we ordered, the only one that was palatable was the guavacita. The others were too pungent or way too strong for my taste. Again, this is my personal opinion of the cocktails so the experience might be different for others.

Been in Seattle for a week and Wish I found this bar sooner. Crispy classic cocktails with mellow vibes. Must try either milk punch that's on the menu or specifically ask Will-he will most definitely help narrow down something to your liking. Best drinks and vibe in town!

Following the sage recommendation of a bartender at Zig Zag Cafe, I made my way into Belltown over to Roquette. Roquette was a surprisingly small space with a wonderful vibe serving up "destination" bar-worthy cocktails. It reminded me of some of the neighborhood gem cocktail bars that I'd frequented on the East Coast. I grabbed a seat at the bar. Roquette's lineup of cocktails were varied in flavor profile using a wide range of spirits. They also served non-alcoholic offerings which looked equally intriguing as their boozy selections. I started off with the 99 Problems ($28), which, unfortunately, I forgot to note what was in the drink. It was boozy, clever, inventive, and most importantly delicious. My second drink was the Imperium Old Fashioned ($24) made with Westland Whiskey "Roquette" Barrel, Clement Cask Strength Rhum, Old Delicious Apple Brandy, Pineapple, and Spice. It was an excellent, boozy, balanced update to the classic Old Fashioned. Although I went with drinks off their menu, I have no doubt that any of their skilled bar professionals could've crafted me a wonderful cocktail if I had simply requested a classic or something on the fly based on my choice of spirit and desired flavor profile. Yes, the prices on the two drinks I ordered were pretty steep, but they were comparable to prices I've paid in Las Vegas. Plus, I don't have a problem with paying a premium for a well-made cocktail made with premium ingredients in a comfortable, welcoming setting (the drunken guy next to me who tried to engage with me in a political discussion excluded). Bottom-line: Roquette was a revelation. It served up two of the best cocktails that I've had this year. I can't recommend it enough and it'll be at the top of my list of places to hit the next time I'm in town.

We were recommended this spot and what a hidden gem! The service was great and drinks were so tasty. The music was such a fun cool vibe. Great for a date night or fun drink after dinner. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Small space but really nice. The people working there were super welcoming. The host was quick and kind to everyone at the door and made the wait feel easy. There was a bit of a line outside since it's a small spot so just keep that in mind, but he handled it well and kept the vibe friendly which made it not a big deal. They mostly serve cocktails with just a small selection of beers. I had a beer and it was cold and poured well. Service was great and the whole place had a cozy feel. Definitely a good pick for a chill date night or if you just want a quiet drink somewhere nice.

Great cocktail bar!! Thought the panic button drink was one-of-a-kind. It had a Sichuan pepper (if you can handle spicy) that changed the flavor of the drink after eating the spice. Amazing. We did walk-in for a party of 3 on a Thursday evening. Waited about half an hour for seats. It was pretty popular for a school night.

We came to Roquette right at open at 5p for drinks before dinner. We got espresso martinis and they were delicious. They had a unique cinnamon flavor that I enjoyed. We also got the Broom of the System, which was the cocktail of the day and tasted like Apple Pie. It was great. Definitely plan to come back to Roquette.

Incredible Cocktails. We got recommended this place from several bars in the area and glad we came in. Cool place to have a cocktail and they have tin fish menu! We ordered the Smoked came with lemon, peppers and crackers. Service was quick and attentive. And the ambiance was classy.

Found this spot after we had dinner nearby, it was around 7:30 we got there and there were a couple groups there but not too many people. Very cool and well decorated spot and the service was really nice. Cocktails were interesting and good! I personally liked the panic button more than the snow on the beach, creamier and sweeter and the numbing flower was so fun

Great vibes. Great drinks. Definitely a spot for a fancy lil cocktail. It was Big Cat Friday apparently, all the staff was adorned in leopard print, tiger patterns, the works. The decor felt fun and elegant and intimate. Rocking that spinning disco ball! We got the Tonka Truc - boozy so delicious! Pandemonium - you really taste the pandan Would come back on another night where I'm itching for a nice cocktail.

Located on the upper floor of Pike's Place, this cute bar has a good amount of seating with both table and bar top options. We went on a Saturday night at around 9 PM and it wasn't too crowded -- we were quickly seated at the bar top for a party of two. When you walk in you'll notice that they have a more rustic, dark ambiance that still provides a more casual feel. We were immediately greeted by our host and were seated right away! We were having a late dinner so we ended up getting the Tater Tots with all the toppings, beef tartare, and a side of their coleslaw. For the two of us, that was more than enough! Their portion sizes were very generous and filling. The tater tots were amazing, with the perfect amount of crisp, sauce, and toppings! The beef tartare was also so delicious with the perfect amount of seasoning and the yolk beautifully ran through the meat. For drinks, we ended up getting two cocktails as well as as a whiskey flight. For the cocktails we ordered the Turn the Page and Angel's Wings. Both drinks were absolutely amazing! It was the perfect balance of tasting the spirit with its complementary fruity notes. Our bartender also curated a flight for us based on our budget, preferences, and curiosities because we were interested in learning more about the different whiskeys and it was such an amazing experience! In no particular order. It's a greasy spoon .... so unclean the tables are sticky. Enough said. Radiator Whiskey with a entire wall full of Whiskey bottles is playing with fire and just crossed the line with me. I will be back to check up on that. The pulled pork sandwich was ok, but minimalist dry with just a sprinkle of coleslaw and red onions. So was the side salad, dry, with the dressing being 'barely there.' Barely there was also the AC on this night of a heatwave. With closed windows. I was sweaty and couldn't wait to get out into fresh air of the same temperature while sticking to my table. As for the vibe, they play alternative punk rock, maybe a bit too loud for good conversation. All I can say here is each to their own, but the place just wasn't for me.
