We decided to check out Rocco's on a random night when we suddenly were craving pizza. We could easily walk in and get a table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience was very interesting. They have big neon signs of different beer brands. The ambience is nice and moody.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was fast. We tried the herb focaccia and the burrata caprese. Both were delicious! We then tried pizza by the slice specials. We tried a slice of the veggie pizza which was loaded with different veggies and the meat lovers pizza slice which had sausage. Both were really delicious. The prices are very affordable too. We also tried some draft. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, a fun and casual place to quickly grab some great pizza.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We stopped in here late at night, as it was one of the few places still open and appeared bustling with happy diners.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So glad we did because the pizza was wonderful and it was fun to watch the process with the open kitchen view. Service was great, especially considering the space was packed with diners. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Noise level was moderate to high, which was difficult to even give our order to the staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Decor was dark and cozy with some great artwork to take in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wanted to try a local beer and enjoyed an Obec brew with my pizza slice. We each ordered a pizza slice from the special food menu to enable us to expedite our order. We preferred doing this rather than wait for an entire pizza or other entree when restaurant was so slammed. Pizza was great crust and toppings. Would return in a heartbeat!

Back at Rocco's again and had a really good time! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was nice and chill; really comfortable and it made for an easy place to hang out and enjoy the night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The employees were all super friendly and welcoming, which definitely added to the experience. The pizza was really good and hit the spot. A special shoutout to the bartender, Janessa, she is so sweet and made us feel taken care of! Definitely a solid spot and one I'll always come back to. Thanks again Janessa!! Easy 4 Stars

Parking is limited and different to find. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is spacious and large making it good for medium sized groups.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Slices are humongous. Get 2 if you're really hungry. Otherwise one and an appetizer or something smaller would be enough. Overall, Rocco's is a good place for some delicious pizza. Portions are huge and service is good.

Lively pizza shop with a bar. They have good options for single slices, which typically also includes a vegetarian slice. The pizza is decent, maybe not my top choice but still pretty good (lots of flop in the pizza if you're into that). Quick service for how busy they are.

"Fun Guy" pizza, 1/2 size (10 inches instead of 20)

We stopped by here on the way back from Pike Place to our hotel by the Space Needle. Food was great and the service was also very good, but it's still a little hard to justify the price for a pizza place. Then again, I'm biased since my wife and I tend to pick fast casual places over fancy sit down experiences. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside since the weather was nice (even in the early evening).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It can be a little awkward since there's some sketchy folks in the neighborhood, but they have a host at the entrance that does a good job policing the area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My wife took a peek inside and said the bar was very cool-looking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So maybe we'll try sitting inside next time. Regardless, our server came by pretty regularly and was helpful / patient with our questions, so all good. We grabbed a local root beer and it was good enough to get a second. They do seem to have a solid beer and mixed drink selection. Wife and I shared a brussel sprout and pork belly appetizer but got the spicy sauce on the side in case it was too spicy. It wasn't too bad so we'd probably get it on next time. We also split a half portion of the mushroom pizza, aptly named "Fun Guy". It was absolutely delicious, and their portion sizes are plenty big enough for my wife and I. Mushrooms were plentiful and the sauce went perfectly with the pie and shrooms. Like I mentioned, I still think the prices are a little high, but it's probably what you'll need to expect for downtown Seattle. Definitely worth checking out if you're picky about the quality of your pizza.

Great happy hour every day 11-4pm. Getting a 50% off cocktail and a delicious pizza by the slice is a great deal. Yesterday I had the burrata caprese and devoured it.

half Three Little Pigs and half chicken con queso
    Allison H.

I think the hype here is to order the 20 inch pizza, which you can split in half to taste two different types, and that's exactly what we did. We ordered half chicken con queso and half three little piggies. It came out fairly quickly, and it tasted good. The flavors were slightly off for us and a little too greasy. Overall, our service was good. It filled up quickly after we arrived (6:15pm on a Sunday), so I recommend making a reservation ahead of time. The ambiance inside is great - it's a bit on the darker side, which could make for a great date night, but it's not very romantic, if that makes sense.

    Kenneth K.

Amazing creative pizzas from global recipes. My mom and I shared a Vegetarian Banh Mi Pizza which was expensive but well worth it. We even had slices to bring to the hotel for leftovers before our ferry to Victoria. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is very nice and I can imagine it is hard to get a table on weekends as it was quite full on a weeknight.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was very friendly as well and we saw them make the pizzas as we walked out.

    Scott G.

The pizza was great. Their crust was on point, just the way I loke it. The server's were friendly and attentive. Couldn't ask for anything more. Aloooooooha and happy eating.

    Emily Z.

Some of the best pizza I've tried in Seattle! I love that you can order by the slice, two was plenty for dinner. About $8 per slice as of 2025. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is stunning[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and the service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be coming back.

20 inch 8 slice Loaded Potato bacon specialty pizza
    Brandon M.

My son and I saw the good reviews and thought we would try this place on a Friday evening after a long travel day. We were walk-ins but were seated at the bar immediately. The bartender let me sample a craft beer before I chose a full pour of a craft cider. My son enjoyed the bartender's choice of a whisky sour. We ordered the $60 20-inch eight-slices round extra large loaded potato bacon specialty pizza. It was delicious and incredibly filling. We need to take half back to the Airbnb. I also had their homemade root beer, the best I ever had. There are low and high tops, booths, bar, and outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Clean. Seattle Belltown prices. Posted 3% credit card fee. I recommend reservations during peak times and only order a large slice if you don't want to take some home. I don't know why several people trashed this place in reviews. The loaded potato bacon specialty pizza was the best I've had since Basic in San Diego, and I would return to this establishment.

Atmosphere, skylights are a good touch!
    Thalya C.

Overall rating is a 4/5 because it is really good and it has nice ambience. Food is good, it is on the pricier side but, what do you expect from a nice place in Downtown Seattle? Sauces are charged each additionally. The crust is thick which was amazing but it was overly greasy, I guess it means it's good? Ambiance is great, definitely a good date night spot with the lighting so dim. Skylights were a great touch! Service was good. Nothing out of the ordinary but it also wasn't terrible. I would say nothing in particular stood out about the service.

How much for a slice of cheese or pepperoni?

Are you open on 26th Dec 2021?

Yes we are. And we have been waiting for you now for 2 years!

Is the new location similar decor/atmosphere? All the photos seem to be the old location (which I love)

The decor is infinitely more upscale, brighter, with more room. Rocco’s is now rather classy.

Do you have high chairs or booster seats for children?

    Yes

    Do they accept reservations?

We made a reservation there a few weeks ago, but if you're late you may lose the table. They were politely clear about that.

Tucked down the alley by the gum wall, it's a great option for wood fired pizzas. The space is fairly small and very low-lit, but thriving with energy. Our service was fantastic, drinks were good, but besides the pizza the food was pretty hit or miss. We had a table of 4 and we kept the table full the entire time. We started off with a salad, spicy mac n cheese, cheese sticks, and Brie and cheese. Salad was light and refreshing. The cheese sticks were pretty normal, but also good. The spicy mac n cheese to me had zero spice. Just some mac in a cast iron pan. The apple and Brie had a nice presentation but the smallest amount of Brie possible(my picture was too blurry to post). The Broccolini I am not sure how it was defined as broccolini because the 5 pieces that came on the plate were huge. While packed with flavors of lemon and Parmesan they had a very tree like feel and were a bit on the harder side. The El Diablo pizza, to be straight forward was by far the best part of the stop. The crust could have been a little more well done, but that's just me splitting hairs. I ate more of that than anyone else. Probably could have finished it myself if I hadn't stopped for a lobster roll beforehand. Either way, great service, good drinks and legit pizzas!

If that line is intimidating or wet (think rain!) then duck inside to Pizza and Pasta Bar for a delicious meal. While there we met the owners Bruno and Goli who were helping out behind the counter. They are the nicest people ever! So friendly and accommodating and always smiling. Their pride in their restaurant really shows in their care of the food and customers. I had the infamous meatball sandwich and my wife had the chicken carbonara. They gave us each a slice of their pizza for free as they had a bit extra from one that just came out of the oven. The food was prepared in front of you which is always interesting to watch and the charming brick pizza oven was directly in front of us so we could watch that process as well. Pretty cool. There are a wide variety of pizzas and pastas, desserts and drinks (alcohol too!) available on the menu. We ate at at the bar and had a wonderful conversation with the owners as they bustled about in the open cooking area. I enjoyed my meatball sandwich which had great crunchy crusty bread that held in the contents of melted cheese, red sauce and meatballs. A great choice to get when there. My wife liked her chicken carbonara and as the portion was pretty large, we were able to take some home for later. Extra yummy for me (ha ha)! The complimentary pizza slices were a hit for us as well. Napoli style with thin crust and flavorful toppings. We found out that Goli created the restaurant's design with the face of a woman that looks a lot like Venus in "The Birth of Venus" painting by Botticelli in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence Italy (just sayin'). We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

I got a slice of Italian supreme, which has everything. Oh well, I guess I will be back! The woman heated up my slice and after a few minutes, it was ready. I took my slice and went to sit outside near Pioneer Square so I could be outside and people watch. Pizza was tasty and solid, but the crust was too dry. I have a feeling the slice wasnt the most fresh, so thats why the crust was a bit dry. But, if you know me, I do jot like soggy pizza (I mean - who does??), so a bit drier isn't too big an issue. The rest of the slice was good. Slice of pizza and a diet coke came to close to $9. Gosh things are so expensive now. They do have a special of 2 slices for $8.99 but I couldnt eat two slices. Unfortunately, the experience is consistently dampened by one of weekend bartenders. As others have mentioned, it's that taller bartender (Alex?) who repeatedly comes across as arrogant and dismissive to us; a less than desirable character trait for a bartender. It's such a pity because that is the sole reason we now lead our groups to spend their money and patronize other establishments instead. Recently we did give Diller another try, but sadly it's the same story and thus this feedback. Hospitality makes a HUGE difference. Bartending isn't just about making a good drink and expecting tips. As someone who tended bar all over Seattle for 23 years, I know how much energy and attitude shape a guest's night. When the service feels cold and passive-aggressively rude, it's hard to feel good about the experience. It's disappointing, because this place has so much potential.
