On my first night in Seattle we were craving pizza! We decided to walk down the street from our hotel and try this place! The workers were very welcoming, and the vibe is almost intimate, but still very casual at the same time!!! When we first sat down, our server was super nice! He was very upbeat and explained the entire menu to us. We decided to split a HALF Tina and Stacey's night out pizza and get a MED Greek salad - definitely enough for three girls! The pizza itself was absolutely delicious! We did not have a single crumb left! The salad was the perfect light addition to our dinner! Not being from Seattle - we thought it was a bit expensive but soon learned that it was pretty regularly priced!! This place definitely has some fun and delicious pizza! Worth the try!! read more

Swung by Rocco's while waiting for our table over at Shiro's. They have classic slices available to-go and plenty of seating if you want a fresh pie with some unique fusion options that I can't speak to, but would love to try. I will note their outdoor seating is explicitly off limits for to-go customers and it isn't too difficult to find parking at least on a weeknight within a block of the restaurant. Got two slices to-go and they were toasted in a few minutes so the crust is perfectly crunchy and the cheese revives to a nice gooey texture. Sauce has a nice sweetness from tomatoes without veering too sweet and the cheese is super stretchy. Perfect amount of salt and the pepperonis were nice and crunchy without being burnt. TLDR solid slices, can't complain. read more

Rocco's Pizza in Seattle made my birthday unforgettable for all the wrong reasons. The manager's complete lack of professionalism and courtesy was staggering. Upon arrival after 9:00 pm on a Tuesday, we asked to set in one of the booth but they said no because of their strict policy for the booth the used x 3 or more people. Meanwhile, all 4 booth were empty. The kind waitress then offered to move us to the bar booth if something opened up, we kindly agreed and simple went on with our night at different table. While on the table my friend picked up 3 small little flowers from the base and said happy birthday to me, and I put the little flowers on my hair, then I told the waitress I hope you don't mind, my friend gave this little flowers from the table it is my birthday, to which the waitress replied happy birthday, I have no problem with that!. Then comes the manager, and tells me sarcastically, that is a cute flower but it is not yours to take, you should have asked permission anyways, I told him with a smile, but is my birthday and it a tiny flower may I keep it? He stated no, because other costumers will come in and there are no flowers in the table. I told him to replace it with another from another table and he said No give it back now please. It is not yours to take!!! Me, already feeling unwelcome and missed treated, yet still stayed but couldn't even finish my pizza because of how upset I was. I told my friend I wanted to leave. After closing the tab, I walked upfront and waited for my friend. Upon walking outside, the managers comes after us screaming "hey give me back the flower" you took it, at this point I was still walking ahead on my friend and I can hear the manager yelling "she stole it" give it back now, she is a thief, you come here to steal is that it? I repeatedly, told him I didn't take it and even open my purse and told him to come search it, but he stormed back in while insulting and yelling to me IN PUBLIC! - I was deeply humiliated in front of absolute strangers. I didn't see my friend taking the flower either, and if he did, he never gave it to me otherwise, I would have throw it at his face. The luck of hospitality, professionalism, and simply compassion and dignity from this person is Absolutely Unacceptable. I was treated with far more respect and the Four Seasons (and they did give me flowers), than this ridiculous place. It is a shame that the owner would allow someone like this to be the front of the business. And I feel deeply sorry for their employees to have to endure this person as I saw on their eyes the embarrassment they felt. I deserve nothing else but an apology for the way I was treated. I too work in hospitality, I know what is like to provide costumer service providing healthcare and never in my wildest days would I ever treat anyone with such disrespect and unprofessionalism. I recommend this person to be replace or re train. Otherwise it will only affect the business. read more

Not a bad walk from our Airbnb. They weren't busy when we went there on a Sunday for our takeout dinner. The establishment looks interesting inside and out. I wasn't that crazy though about my vegetarian slice of pizza. It just didn't taste that great. Maybe it was the ingredients. The price was fine though. Customer service was fine as well. read more

We decided to check out Rocco's on a random night when we suddenly were craving pizza. We could easily walk in and get a table. The ambience was very interesting. They have big neon signs of different beer brands. The ambience is nice and moody. The service was fast. We tried the herb focaccia and the burrata caprese. Both were delicious! We then tried pizza by the slice specials. We tried a slice of the veggie pizza which was loaded with different veggies and the meat lovers pizza slice which had sausage. Both were really delicious. We stopped in here late at night, as it was one of the few places still open and appeared bustling with happy diners. So glad we did because the pizza was wonderful and it was fun to watch the process with the open kitchen view. Service was great, especially considering the space was packed with diners. Noise level was moderate to high, which was difficult to even give our order to the staff. Decor was dark and cozy with some great artwork to take in. I wanted to try a local beer and enjoyed an Obec brew with my pizza slice. We each ordered a pizza slice from the special food menu to enable us to expedite our order. Back at Rocco's again and had a really good time! The ambiance was nice and chill; really comfortable and it made for an easy place to hang out and enjoy the night. Parking is limited and different to find. The interior is spacious and large making it good for medium sized groups. Slices are humongous. Get 2 if you're really hungry. Otherwise one and an appetizer or something smaller would be enough. Overall, Rocco's is a good place for some delicious pizza. Portions are huge and service is good. read more

We stopped by here on the way back from Pike Place to our hotel by the Space Needle. Food was great and the service was also very good, but it's still a little hard to justify the price for a pizza place. Then again, I'm biased since my wife and I tend to pick fast casual places over fancy sit down experiences. We sat outside since the weather was nice (even in the early evening). It can be a little awkward since there's some sketchy folks in the neighborhood, but they have a host at the entrance that does a good job policing the area. My wife took a peek inside and said the bar was very cool-looking. So maybe we'll try sitting inside next time. Regardless, our server came by pretty regularly and was helpful / patient with our questions, so all good. We grabbed a local root beer and it was good enough to get a second. They do seem to have a solid beer and mixed drink selection. Wife and I shared a brussel sprout and pork belly appetizer but got the spicy sauce on the side in case it was too spicy. It wasn't too bad so we'd probably get it on next time. We also split a half portion of the mushroom pizza, aptly named "Fun Guy". It was absolutely delicious, and their portion sizes are plenty big enough for my wife and I. Mushrooms were plentiful and the sauce went perfectly with the pie and shrooms. Like I mentioned, I still think the prices are a little high, but it's probably what you'll need to expect for downtown Seattle. Definitely worth checking out if you're picky about the quality of your pizza. read more

I think the hype here is to order the 20 inch pizza, which you can split in half to taste two different types, and that's exactly what we did. We ordered half chicken con queso and half three little piggies. It came out fairly quickly, and it tasted good. The flavors were slightly off for us and a little too greasy. Overall, our service was good. It filled up quickly after we arrived (6:15pm on a Sunday), so I recommend making a reservation ahead of time. The ambiance inside is great - it's a bit on the darker side, which could make for a great date night, but it's not very romantic, if that makes sense. read more

Amazing creative pizzas from global recipes. My mom and I shared a Vegetarian Banh Mi Pizza which was expensive but well worth it. We even had slices to bring to the hotel for leftovers before our ferry to Victoria. The ambiance is very nice and I can imagine it is hard to get a table on weekends as it was quite full on a weeknight. My son and I saw the good reviews and thought we would try this place on a Friday evening after a long travel day. We were walk-ins but were seated at the bar immediately. The bartender let me sample a craft beer before I chose a full pour of a craft cider. My son enjoyed the bartender's choice of a whisky sour. We ordered the $60 20-inch eight-slices round extra large loaded potato bacon specialty pizza. It was delicious and incredibly filling. We need to take half back to the Airbnb. I also had their homemade root beer, the best I ever had. There are low and high tops, booths, bar, and outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Clean. Seattle Belltown prices. Posted 3% credit card fee. I recommend reservations during peak times and only order a large slice if you don't want to take some home. I don't know why several people trashed this place in reviews. Overall rating is a 4/5 because it is really good and it has nice ambience. Food is good, it is on the pricier side but, what do you expect from a nice place in Downtown Seattle? Sauces are charged each additionally. The crust is thick which was amazing but it was overly greasy, I guess it means it's good? Ambiance is great, definitely a good date night spot with the lighting so dim. Skylights were a great touch! Service was good. Nothing out of the ordinary but it also wasn't terrible. The pizza was a floppy mess, terrible undercarriage, and very greasy. We ordered a full large pie split between a pepperoni and pepperoni-sausage. Overall flavor was lacking. The sausage was the consistency of chorizo and was ass. If anything a large pizza here is worth $17-20 at the most. A very popular and lively pizza spot with a huge whiskey selection. Unfortunately, the prices for the nice pours of whiskey are waayyyyy too pricey. They have some nice limited edition pours, but I wouldn't go for it at those prices. Had a slice of pizza that was just okay. Decent flavor to it, but very greasy and floppy. After, my last experience with customer service, I had no interest in coming back. Although, thanks to my coworkers, they were raving about the pizza and I gave it another shot. I was not disappointed, it's probably one of the best in Seattle. It's about $6-$8 per slice and you could get away with only having one since the slices are HUGE. The bottom of the pizza is so crunchy while the top has a nice doughy touch to it. This place is my go to after work now! I just wanna say if you're in Seattle and you want good food at a good price and amazing quality you gotta hear Rocco Now let's get specific I was recommended here by my hotel and the lady told me make sure you're hungry or order light. She was not joking. First of all when I walked up, they had a security guard. I asked him what would he recommend and he told me and he was not wrong so right off the bat the service was awesome was seated immediately and when I asked the server what he would recommend this is the first time I would agree when he said everything and he was not wrong. I just got two slices and and I couldn't even finish that. While I was enjoying the ambience, I love the fact that they had all these old beer signs throughout the place, but they didn't sell any of those old beers. I was just bougie stuff that I don't care for just sell a classic old beer at least one style that's the only thing I would ask for Rocco's Sell one of the beers that you have on the wall advertising that's it other than that yes, this hungry Hawaiian loved everything about it the service the people but especially the food. Follow the pizza boxes. That's essentially what I did and it's how I ended up at Rocco's. I was feeling a bit peckish one evening and needed something light to eat. I didn't want a full blown meal, but decided that a piece of pizza would work. It felt a little more like I was going to a nightclub than getting a slice, as I had to wait outside the restaurant, then wait at a host stand, and then order. I appreciate that the slices were piping hot and heated to perfection. And yes - I did say slices. Because even though I wasn't super hungry and came in for one, I left with a regular slice and a pepperoni. (I did save 3/4 of one for later.) The slices are a good side, so you are getting your money worth -- even though it might be the most expensive slice I've ever eaten, ha. Worth a stop in if you're curious about the hype. This is BFF and my go to spot to satisfy our pizza craving! In particular, we are fans of the Fun-Guy w/ truffle oil and roasted beet salad. It's a little on the spendy side, but worth it. For half of a Fun-Guy, which yields 4 large slices was $38. I also enjoy the arugula salad, pork belly brussels sprouts and the Three Little Piggies pizza. It's a good idea to make a reservation especially if it's on a Friday or Saturday night. It's in a busy part of Belltown, so allow time for parking. Customer is friendly and helpful. When my Seattle friend recommended a pizza spot around the area, I did NOT expect this. This late-night joint has everything you'd ever want at a restaurant: large portions, whimsical drink menus, and a divey-bar kinda vibe. As a party of 4, we opted to split a 1/2 Stacey & Tina's Night Out and 1/2 Tator Truffle Shuffle for only $60! Is it a bit pricer than your average slice? Yes. But is it absolutely delicious and will fulfill your pizza craving? Also yes. Majority of the table liked the tator truffle a bit more. The potato and truffle ooey gooey-ness was such an indulgent, we felt very guilty after. The Stacey & Tina was good as well, but it didn't pack as much of a punch for us. My friends got drinks and they were fine. Service was adequate--didn't feel like we were neglected any time of the meal, but also wasn't the most attentive. Perhaps one of the closest resemblances to a New York Style slice! My SO, friend, and I craved some pizza. Being I'm from NYC region, the best pizza I had on the Northwest so far is down in Oregon. We heard of Rocco's and decided to give it a shot. One small complaint I had was the pricing, it's currently about 6.50 for a regular slice and 7.95 (don't quote me) for a pepperoni. I'm used to paying about 4-5 bucks for a regular slice back home (NYC ain't a cheap place either). I just don't think a regular slice should cost that much, but I digress. I understand it's somewhat more upscale so. I found it funny we were told that the slices were big to possibly share, but it was the same as a regular back home (not sure if that means I eat a lot lolol). The crust is perfect! No flop, nice crunch, they absolutely nailed it. The sauce is pretty good as well. My only big complaint is that it is incredibly cheesy, making the slice pretty greasy. Now I know that's just something you get with eating pizza (especially if there's meat on it), but it felt greasier than normal. Nonetheless, still enjoyable. Staff was friendly and attentive.
