Service was fast and friendly. My partner, his brother, and I ended up stopping in because we could smell the waffle cones from outside--and that alone pulled us in. The flavors were really good. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake and also tried the Nutella flavor. My boyfriend got the salted caramel, and his brother went with the dark chocolate. Everything was good. That said, the price is definitely on the higher side--about $9.50 for a "small." We're not entirely sure what justifies the cost, though it may be due to the ingredients they use. I genuinely enjoyed my ice cream and would come back. However, it's not something that feels particularly unique compared to other spots in LA that offer similar quality for a lower price. Another person came about half way through my wait time. They both seem not in a hurry and didn't greet customers or explain a whole lot. So the service was lacking. Best ice cream evah! Was a part of a party of 12, everyone agreed this is some of the best ice cream they have ever had. We always seek out Rori's when we are nearby! Some in our party would sometimes feel sick after eating ice cream at other places but nobody felt bad after eating. That is a testament to the quality of ingredients. Rori's ice cream is a must when we visit Ventura. It was busier than usual today being a holiday weekend. We made it in with 4 people ahead of us and grabbed a nice corner table right before the line went out the door. There were two team members handling it all. One was making the fresh waffle cones while the other took care of the orders. Both were super nice, but I have to give it to the young lady managing the line. She took her time with every customer. She was patient and maintained a wonderful attitude during a very, very busy afternoon. My husband chose his usual flavor -- Milk & Cookies, while I tried a new flavor -- Brown Sugar Banana (love!!). My husband saw how much I was enjoying mine that he asked for a taste. He's still talking about it and already decided to have it at our next visit. A friend and I popped by to get some ice cream after a nice sunny Monday in Ventura. When we entered, there was no line. My friend and I both sampled a couple of ice cream flavors before ordering. I decided to get a single scoop of the Nutella ice cream and August special in a cone. Everything was quickly prepared and my friend and I sat outside to enjoy our ice cream. Great to see a Rori's location on Main Street in Ventura. My husband and I stopped by mid-week which was great, as there was no line. All offerings same as the other locations which is positive. Our experience was diminished by a poorly behaved customer inside the shop who was digging through the trash to pull out a container of ice cream while her dog barked loudly. There were several staff members present though the behavior persisted. Overall, ice cream good but would select an alternative. read more

Our friends raved over Rori's so we went in to enjoy some ice cream. The place was super packed, however the line went by quickly and the servers were friendly and helpful. I split a scoop of almond honey crunch and chocolate, and the hubby had a peanut butter and chocolate scoop. The ice cream is silky, smooth, and perfectly balanced, the almond honey crunch was fire and the chocolate decadent and rich. Hands down the BEST PB and chocolate ice cream I've ever had. It is PB forward, so good if you're a fan of PB. It's pricy so expect to pay high, but for once in a while treat it's worth it and a generous scoop too. As you can see from my menu pic, while their menu isn't broad but it's certainly deep in flavor. Make sure you take advantage of their free tastings. The staff was quick and helpful.
