Don't understand the negative reviews, I have eaten here a few times and the service and food are always good. Yes does it get busy of course, but they do an excellent job of keeping it flowing, it's kind of like fast food Mexican food with a large dining area. I have never had a bad meal here, today I had the Fajita salad and the steak was amazingly tender and delicious, they have a great menu with lots of food choices for al food types. I haven't eaten in probably 2 years and today confirmed my reservations on doing so. I got a small order of sopapillas. They had me wait at the window so "they could fry them up fresh". I don't mind waiting for fresh! HOWEVER, what I got was far from it. They were cold & limp. Disgusting. Anywhere else I get them, they're warm & crispy. And you get honey "sauce" with them, not real honey (Taco Bell gives you real honey). Im done with Rosa's. Tex-Mex casual dining with drive through. When you walk in, you first order at the register and then wait for your order number to be called. No chips or salsa included, however, they have a nice size salsa bar with fresh salsa. Different heat levels, pico de gallo, limes, and lemon to choose from at the salsa bar. Not sure why they charge for different size for chips and salsa when it's a "self serve" salsa bar. Service was friendly and fast. Seating area is festive and clean. Food was warm. Definitely not authentic Mexican at all. I honestly think what sets them apart is the freshly made flour tortillas and the salsa bar. I don't know why I cannot uncheck the food and service at the top of this review, but neither are good. I'm done with this place!!! We went to the one on JBS Pkwy in Odessa, Tx. We decided to dine in because we had just left a phone store right next to Rosa's and it was just convenient. Our food was right at $40, and really hardly any food for that price. We got seated and tried a chip and queso, and I took the large queso back to get replaced or heated up because it wasn't even warm. Nobody wants to eat cold queso especially when you're dining in. It's not like you had to drive home and the queso got cold during the drive. Anyway, I went to the counter and asked them if they could heat the queso up in a microwave or just give me a whole new one. The manager handed it to the girl in the prep ljne, and said something in Spanish to her. The girl takes the little styrofoam cup and pours the cheese back into the stainless steel container they serve from, and stirred it around and gives me another cup. When she started to dump it in there, I immediately said no no no, we dipped chips in that. And the manager looked at me and said we didn't pour your cup back in there. I told her I was standing right here watching what she was doing and, yes, she did pour the queso back in it. People, their customer service su cks, to say the least. We hadn't been there for a few years, mainly because of price and the little food you get. I've given them their last chance. I agree with another poster. If we're going to pay this price, we could go somewhere like Dos Compadres who gives great service and delivers great food every single time we go. My fajita plate was ready in about 5 minutes from ordering, the rice and beans were up to par and my beef fajitas were rich and flavorful, I wonder where they order the beef from because I can't get enough of it. Visiting from austin I was really hungry for some Mexican food. Well Rosa's has never done me wrong in austin it couldnt be bad here?.... WRONG. I ordered a #55 with a large Dr Pepper and a large sopapillas YEAH I was hungry. Cool AMAZING TIMING on how fast I got my food at 8 ish at night I was back at my hotel room within 10 min of leaving it! I pull out the food... NO sopapillas ... and my freaking 2 chicken enchiladas has about 5 small pieces of shredded chicken like REALLY small... We are from California and don't have this restaurant out there so we were ordering based on reviews and what was available delivery wise. Husband ordered 4 beef soft tacos. Bigger than expected! He only ate one. Asked for lots of extra sauce, fresh jalapeños and habaneros if they had them. Omg! We got TONS of hot sauce, a bunch of fresh whole jalapeños and two big containers of pickled jalapeños! What?! Awesome! Everything IS bigger in Texas! Lol. He liked the tacos! Very good tortillas and everything tasted fresh! Saving the rest for breakfast before we hit the road again in the morning. Yum! I ordered the taco salad. I could only eat barely half it was so big! Layers of beans, ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese in a fresh light tortilla shell. Very good and hit the spot! I'm not sure if it was supposed to come with dressing or not but there wasn't any. It really didn't need any. It was just like eating the inside of a taco but with more lettuce. I mixed in some of the hot sauce and it was great! I would order the salad again. THE BEST NEWS... we are in Texas because we decided to move to this great state and leave behind California and their ridiculous politics! The chips were covered in so much oil that we had to throw them away over 7.00 dollars, some nasty ass chips. I ordered breakfast from Rosas's and the food was great. The wait was not long I went around 8:15 am. A lot of people in this town complain about the size of breakfast burritos. These are breakfast tacos so they are more portioned size. I ordered 3 and enjoyed each one. I ordered two potato and egg and I also ordered a chorizo and egg. They had plenty of filling. This location is a lot nicer than the others in Odessa. The customer service is always nice and pleasant as well. read more

The restaurant is open for breakfast,lunch,and dinner. The restaurant is open most of the time it depends on what the day is. It does get clean a lot of times even while your eating. They have a lot of orders. It is in The Mexican Culture Era. Spanish songs,Designs inspired by Mexico. It does have morning burritos and the drive thru is super fast just make sure when you go you dont go on Tuesdays to late because they do have Taco Tuesdays and it does get very packed and busy especially on that day. I have experienced this restaurant before and it is by far my favorite restaurant I went to because with just seeing the hard work and helping that the employees do at the restaurant is just remarkable.I highly recommended this restaurant for when you are going out of town or your on a trip break. read more
