Great breakfast burritos, steak burritos, and nachos. Friendly and fast. Decent salsa bar selection but limited. Easy parking on street or behind restaurant.

    Chicken and steak fajitas! Yum.

Rosales is always a hit for me! I especially love their barbecue chicken weekend special. The salsas are incredible and the Customer Service is always phenomenal. Today we really enjoyed sitting on their beautiful front patio to enjoy the sun before the rain came on Sunday.

Fish taco and asada crunchy taco. Yummmmy!!

Great Mexican food, fresh and homemade!! Service was great, and wonderful outside patio. They have their own parking lot, which is plentiful. Everyone here is sweet and friendly . Very clean bathrooms as well !

Love it- easy low key and friendly service! I actually love that we got to order our food at the counter- so quick! The gal was really nice, handed us free chips and cups for the salsa bar which included habanero salsa, spicy avocado salsa, and green thick salsa plus limes and lemons, onions and cilantro. We got the huevos- so good, corn tortillas or flour tortillas on the side with one corn tortilla, eggs over easy, runny delicious refried beans and red rice- big portion - have enough for a second meal! The coffee was good too and the patio is dog friendly! They had a grill on the patio too, intriguing

Nachos would smack if they had more meat! Burrito was solid. Ordered to go and food was still warm when I got home

Phenomenal Mojarra !!! We were in Santa barbara for the day and I was craving Mojarra ( Fried Tilapia). We saw a few places that offered it on Yelp, and decided to go with this Rosales. I was nervous since i normally eat mojarra at fish markets where the Tilapia is alive and cooked on the spot... so as fresh as possible. I was surprised. This Tilapia was phenomenal!!! Fresh and so delicious. They cut it up in squares which is very convenient and easy to pull apart. You have to try it !!! We also got some sopes which were delicious. The corn tortillas were hand made and the salsas were really good. If your in Santa barbara - I highly recommend. The staff were so nice!! We will definitely be back.

    Chicken Enchiladas Plate

Not as good as our visit a few years ago. Chicken enchiladas did not have much chicken and it was a bit tough.

    Huevos con chorizo.. Bomba!

On a humble, unassuming corner of Milpas Street, the kitchen here is cooking up delcious and authentic Mexican street food. With La Super Rica down the street, you have to bring your A game. And they certainly do here. The litmus test of rice and beans was passed with flying colors. Each is delcious and could stand alone to retrieve mom's approval. The huevos con chorizo are also delcious and taste homemade. They have daily specials, and today was the day for costillas de puerco ... pork riblets in a spicy and savory red chile sauce like mom used to make. Medium spice and great seasoning compliment the braised pork, which just melts in your mouth. The service is no frills here... order at the counter, and they bring out your food... hot and ready to be enjoyed. Seems like a locals spot, so I hope I don't ruin it for anyone, but I prefer to eat like a local when I visit, and this is a place for great Mexican food.

So good! Popped in here for breakfast and their menu is served all day long. I asked what they were known for and was told the chicken enchiladas and breakfast burritos (and something else, I don't recall). We got chicken enchiladas and a chile relleno burrito. Did not disappoint! We absolutely loved it and it and their salsas were amazing! Casual, easy and extremely tasty! Also to note, they have their own private parking lot so you don't have to fight/search for parking. Super plus!

My friends and I sat outside as the weather was beautiful over the weekend. Staff was friendly and when we got there, it was already busy. You can tell it's popular as the line in the entry was pretty long. The food was so fresh! I had a sweet hibiscus tea with an egg, bacon & avocado wrap. Everything was tasty and they also have their own hot sauce which was a nice touch.

You can get new tires next door, but while you're waiting, you can catch breakfast or lunch. Outdoors, there's a lot of seating. Wooden tables and wicker chairs. Awnings and large umbrella coverings. You pay first, and then they seat you. There's some seating indoors, but it's limited, compared to outdoors. I ordered a latte ($5.50) and avocado toast ($16). They add a 3% surcharge if you use a credit card. There is a window for to-go orders, but if you're dining in, you place your order with the gal at the podium. I have to say, although there were two staff working on drinks, my latte took a while. Luckily, it came before the food. There was a staff member waiting at the counter and delivering just drinks. Once I got my latte, it tasted good. Strong. I felt the caffeine. The avocado toast was good, too. It was served in a shallow metal dish. Thick, high quality, Artisan bread. I enjoyed the toasted pumpkin seeds. I would definitely order it again, but open to ordering something else on the menu next time. Staff are friendly, welcoming, and efficient. There was another gentleman standing in the back, immediately clearing tables. It's better if you come earlier on the weekends. There was a line of people when I was leaving. There's plenty of free street parking. I parked across the street.

Everything is high quality and fresh for reasonable prices. Charming, cozy decor with Danish accents. Service is also excellent and warm. Quiche with Hollandaise Sauce - Light, buttery flaky crust, light, fluffy eggs. Absolutely delightful, leeks provided good texture. Came with a strip of bacon. Was so amazing hardly ate the sauce. Don't think you can sub salad for fries but no worries, as the breakfast potatoes were amazing. Many places offer breakfast potatoes but something seemingly simple is actually hard to make well. My friend's Bratwurst Sausage with Eggs, her favorite, was hearty and filling. A lot of indoor seating but we enjoyed our table outside, watching pedestrians on State St. and enjoying the beautiful scenery and architecture. We expected to wait to be seated but surprisingly it wasn't that busy. Order at counter and the food is brought to your table. As we waited, employee kindly gave us two free pastry samples, both delicious. All the baked goods I got to go I want again. Their scones are fabulous-slightly crunchy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. Their tea service which comes with champagne is pricey, I believe $75 per person. But interior is a perfect colorful and relaxed setting for tea. My tastebuds dream of coming back. Will be thrilled when I next indulge on their pastries and quiche.

SCORE 0 HEALTH HAZARD 10…read more This is our third time we've had issues with the staff. Today is our last time going here. There was only one person in line and 4 staff members behind the counter standing around talking to each other. Nobody greeted us or asked for our bakery order. When I said excuse me to a dirty blond girl she replied "WHAT!" and continued to joke with a co worker. When the cashier finished with their customer they walked away and even though they saw we were waiting to be helped. I looked around and saw nobody helping seated customers or us at the bakery counter. Finally, the dirty blonde ask what we need and my response was "WHAT" ?! At this point we should have left and gone to Lilac Patisserie however we proceeded to give her our order. I told another customer behind us that rudeness seems to be the norm, and she agreed. I paid for our bakery items and asked an older woman scrolling on her phone if we could have a bag for all of our boxed treats. She grabbed a handful of bags and threw them at me from across the counter. We were appalled and left. We found a place to sit on State street to eat our treats and my daughter said she didn't want her Meringue because the dirty blonde girl used the back of her ungloved hand to repeatedly wipe her nose. We threw all $50 worth of baked goods in the trash. Yes, I should have gone back and complained I'm had everything refunded but it was Mother's Day and we didn't want anything more to do with this establishment. It was also an epiphany that they don't treat everyone this way. It could be you next time. Please go somewhere else. We will never go to anywhere but Lilac Patisserie which is to the left as you exit Andersons, past the stop light. You will definitely get your money's worth and the staff is friendly, professional, and greet you immediately as you reach the counter.
