Rosalia met the mark and earned my 5 star review. The combination of ambiance and over-achieving (yet simple) salad earned this rating. FOOD: Their caesar salad puts other restaurant salads to shame. You may wonder how an expensive and simple salad (like a restaurant Caesar) could earn such a raving review. Well, even with dressing on the side, the greens were clearly massaged or otherwise "seasoned" with lemon juice/salt, making the greens themselves (sans-dressing) super flavorful. Topped with high-quality cheese, good croutons, and perfectly cooked and succulent chicken breast, this salad met the mark. Highly recommend. Most salads don't meet this level of satisfaction, and that's disappointing for a menu item that can reach into the $20+ range! While their salad with chicken was pricey, it at least exceeded expectations. SERVICE: attentive and friendly PARKING: easy in the massive Texas-Tonka lot AMBIANCE: upscale despite being in a strip mall. Great spot for a date night. read more

We stopped by again for a friends birthday dinner, and it was such fun! For many of them, this was their first time, and they LOVED the pizza and new pasta options! I stayed true with the alfredo because it's THAT good! Most of the pizzas ordered was the pepperoni and hot honey combo - fan favorite! I really liked an NA version of the espresso martini, felt like a proper drink in a pretty glass! Our server was helping us along and checked on us frequently. They do put a 20% on groups of 8+, but id say it was more than well deserved for her!! So excited to come again! read more

I had a margherita pizza with bacon, green sausage (it is a good thing!) and hot honey. Absolutely DELICIOUS!! And O had the Salmon app. Oh my word!! Loved it!!! Dessert was very tasty as well. Service was INCREDIBLE! Going back OFTEN when I am in the Twin Cities. read more

Wow -- fantastic pizza! The wood-fired crust had that perfect balance of char, chew, and flavor. The pasta was cooked beautifully al dente and packed with flavor as well. The staff was friendly, the drinks were great, and the atmosphere made it an easy place to relax with friends and family. Ordered Fettuccine Alfredo. Literally no Alfredo sauce. Was dry and tasteless. Overpriced.

On one level, Rosalia is a simple pizza restaurant. The whole menu consists of pizza, pasta, salad and a few appetizers. Every bite of our meal on this Friday evening was delicious. The place was full and buzzing, and it looked fairly upscale for a tenant in a strip mall. Warmly lit and not too loud. We sat at the bar where our bartender, Paul, was quite friendly and helpful. Best thing was the rigatoni. Paul advised us that this particular pasta had a little heat to it, and it did, but it was fantastic. Made the fettuccine, while tasty, seem a bit bland. I briefly considered a second bowl of rigatoni but didn't want to seem rude. But I will return for that pasta another day. Yum. Texa-Tonka is looking good. read more

We love it here! Have gone twice already at this new location and have found our perfect trifecta to share- broccolini, pep pizza and pesto pasta. It's in close enough proximity to where we live, so having walk-in spots at the bar is great for last minute date nights. Service has been good every time as well. Love that Rosalita opened a second location in the neighborhood. They've transformed the old SLP Revival space with warm wood finishes and comfortable booths--it feels inviting right away. The food is just as excellent as their Linden Hills spot. We had the Caesar salad, a gourmet margherita pizza, and a pepperoni pizza--everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly executed. The thin crust was especially on point. Great to see a full bar and a spacious patio, too. Service was excellent across the board. Next time, we'd probably split one pizza and save room to explore more of the appetizers and desserts--they looked worth it. Also appreciated the creative house-made mocktails, a nice touch for both adults and kids. read more

I had been to the linden hills location many times before the texa tonka location opened. I got the Spicy Rigatoni alla Vodka here and it was amazing. Enjoyed a couple of different pizzas here as well, and all of them were great. The service and vibe were nice as well. read more

Service was perfect. Before dinner drink (gin and tonic) was special and unique (big sprig of rosemary and three dry olives). Caesar salad was a perfect temperature, just the right amount of tart, vinaigrette dressing and lots of cheese (shredded and sliced) with crunchy croutons and enough salad for three people. The pizza (pepperoni, of course) was tasty but pretty similar to Punch pizza. We'll be back to try another cocktail with some pasta next time. read more

Very good new Italian restaurant in the former Revival location in Texa Tonka Shopping Center adjacent to Brookies Fish Market and Angel Food Bakery. The menu is creative in a good way. There are pasta dishes and rare gluten free pasta offerings which are appreciated by those with gluten sensitivities. There are a wide variety of pizzas and GF ones as well. There is a long bar with a variety of cocktails with an Italian twist such as Aperol Spritz and Negroni. The wait staff are knowledgeable and pleasant I went twice and our server was Baily and she could not have been more pleasant. The appetizers of roasted butternut squash with maple syrup and labneh which is yogurt like and pecans is delicious as are the three dips with flat bread to tear and dip into the pots of dip. Desserts are like what you would expect at a fine dining location in NYC or San Fran or Chicago...or Mpls. read more
