I put the suit on that I needed hemmed and taken in, and she made a few marks on the pants and the sleeves of the jacket and assured me she would take care of it. Four hours later, it was done! The work was impeccable, I couldn't even tell that any work had been done. And the price was lower than I had thought it would be for that quality of work. This is a family run place, and everyone there is so kind, professional, and helpful. They took such good care of my gown and after the two fittings my gown fit PERFECTLY :) At my last fitting I also brought my after party dress which I needed altered due to some weight loss, and they were able to do so and it also fit perfectly afterward. The bustle worked perfectly, and they took videos for my MOH and made sure the process would be easy for her by placing safety pins on the underside as it was a fairly complicated bustle. Make sure you make an appointment as they are busy, but despite being very busy their communication is excellent and they work with you one on one and ensure you are happy throughout the whole process.

I was quoted $100 for just the hem initially, but they suggested I take it in as well to make sure it stayed up throughout the day. I'd 1000% recommend them for your alterations.

I dropped my dress off first week of February and 2 weeks later I came to pick it up and it wasn't ready for another few hours. The total for getting my dress hemmed was $80. It was a silk dress, not anything super thick or crazy. I also dry clean my work blazer, which costs about $20 and takes a week to get done. Another place I use to go to on Colonial only charges $8 for dry cleaning. The prices here are definitely higher than the average, almost double. I pay for the convenience because I am walking distance from the tailor, but if you are looking for average prices I would recommend another place.

I don' t know how she does it. Every time I alter something I have to use about a thousand pins, chalk and measure everything three times. Very professional, good turn around times, and she is very pleasant. The other half of the shop is where you can get clothing custom made should you have the need for bespoke clothing.
