Jenny and her talented seamstresses are terrific. While I personally haven't needed more than basic alterations, every time I go there (often!), she is fitting others with special gowns and apparel that needs more complicated work. This is a tiny space with challenging parking, and requires an Aloma U-turn for me. But it's worth it! Besides, Jenny has a very pleasing personality. Note, she does not accept credit cards; I had to get used to that, but I appreciate that she is a good businesswoman. Wonderful to work with. I have to get most of my clothes altered in one way or another, so I have a lot of experience working with alterations all over the US. They check all the boxes. Pricing is more than fair, fast and provide high-quality work. This is when they became my absolute favorite: Most recently, I dropped off four items that didn't need to be finished by a specific day. The next day, I realized that I actually needed one of those dresses for a trip that I was leaving for in 48 hours. Had two dresses and a jumpsuit altered here and each time my items came back exactly how I wanted them and the quality stitching lasts. They have you try on your item, they'll measure, pin, and mark up the adjustments they need to make, then they work with you to get it done by the date you need. They'll also offer suggestions based on their knowledge of fabrics and certain styles which really shows their experience working with clothing. Once I needed a last minute dress hemmed by the next day and they made it happen for me. Pricing is very affordable for the quality of work. Don't blink twice or you'll miss this little shop- just look for the big "Nails" sign and it's connected in the same little building. Parking in the back is very small too but luckily there's only ever one or two cars there. She wore a mask and had a clear barrier in front of the register for covid precautions. I needed dress pants hemmed and knew what inseam I wanted so it was a quick in and out without having to try it on for her to measure. $14 to hem my pants and they were ready in a week. It was exactly what I asked for, would definitely come back for any other tailoring needs! read more

Thanks to Yelp I found this small alteration shop! Due to covid, I unfortunately gained some weight and BROKE my pants/zippers lol! I thankfully lost all the weight this year and was ready to wear it again. I stopped by and was greeted by two women who instructed me to go put on my garments (assuming I was there for dress alterations). I declined and showed them I needed some zippers and holes fixed. It was a bit pricy for each zipper to be replaced ($14 a piece) however it was cheaper to get it fixed than buying new pair of jeans or wasting my time figuring it out. Picked my clothes up a week later and happily wearing my (almost new) pants! They also have their walls covered in thank you cards and pictures from brides and families altering their dresses for their big day! Maybe one day I'll be able to do the same! read more

I cannot say enough good things about this shop. We take all our stuff to Kim and she does great work. She's done a number of dresses and a suit for us. My wife had a great experience getting a men's suit tailored for a woman who wanted a more masculine fit. She's done a great job on all my formal dresses and is so kind. I have trusted her with some tricky alterations and repairs on priceless sentimental vintage clothing pieces, blue jeans, as well as several nice suits. The quality delivered in this shop is impeccable in both the needle craft and the dry cleaning. Turnaround time is at least a full week. She does have rush service for a clothing emergency. As you enter the shop, you will see the shop is packed full of exquisite gowns and wedding dresses. TERRIBLE and don't know what they are doing when it comes to rebuilding or restructuring a dress! I should have taken my daughters dress to a friend who is a seamstress, but instead was lead to this "rip off" of a place! $180 later, the owner even took offense after I made mention to the person who directed me to her, that my daughters dress needs a lining underneath it!!! She didn't even have to buy the fabric and she complained that it was labor intensive. I think NOT considering you only attached a piece of see through fabric on it and forgot to line it!! Stupidity and only after a quick buck! This woman even made me pay for the dress prior to getting it back! NOT GOOD! Thanks for ripping me off especially after having the audacity to say you would not fix it and that I was not welcome back into the shop due because I questioned the see through fabric! Learn customer service or people like me will run you out of business by spreading the word! read more

I wouldn't trust anyone else with my wedding dress or other alterations needs! Our family has been coming here for decades for everything from formal wear to letting out a favorite old pair of jeans. They expertly did the alterations on my sister's wedding gown and her entire bridal party as well as my own this summer for our beach celebration. We each had multiple styles and fabrics and all finished products were flawless and fit perfectly on everyone! She even made me a matching garter from the excess lace that was removed. They are a professional, hard working family that treats us and everyone else like family, too. Their pricing is beyond fair and they have been ready early for every "pick-up" date they ever gave me.
