Good pizza always enjoy the Sicilian corner slice and the hero's are very good and of course I love the chicken parm Modesto DiRaimo God rest his soul left a legacy in Huntington that his family is carrying on also they have parking which is a plus in Huntington been going here since I was a baby and always will come here God bless read more

I've been coming here for years and years, maybe since it opened! I'm never disappointed in any of the pizza that I've had here from plain to fancy it's always right on target! The garlic knots are good and my son likes the chicken wings. My favorites are the salad slice and the eggplant slice (add a little garlic and red pepper to it) and the runner up for me is the ziti slice. Pizza and coke!! Never fails to be a winner! read more

This pizza place is an average pizza place compared to the completion in the area. They do have a good variety ready to go in the food window which is nice to grab something quick. All of their pizza is ok and the people who work there seem so miserable. They need a hug or something. The one huge plus is this is the biggest pizza place in Huntington Village and has a parking lot so it makes it easy for parking and big groups! But I would honestly continue down the street a few hundred feet and go to south down pizza kitchen which also has parking, better pizza, and a friendly staff. I think there is a reason that DiRaimo's isn't as crowded as Rosa's, and I don't think it is entirely about location. Great pizza places often have off days. And my Papa says this is his favorite in the area... he likes it better than Rosa's. My mother and aunt prefer Rosa's. But who's family can ever agree on anything of consequence? I liked DiRaimo's. It was certainly better than the run of the mill generic pizza place. But it didn't wow me. I'll come back with my Papa and give it another shot, because I would love to experience Carla L's phenomenal slice. read more

A good pizza stop for us! We were starving so I didn't even get a chance to take a pic! One veggie slice, meatball slice, chicken slice and broccoli slice later we were stuffed! Our preferred local place closed so we tried this on a whim. Very impressed. Both regular and Sicilian slices were excellent. I havent genuinely enjoyed a reheated regular slice in years so I was shocked that it was so good. Very good cheese and delicious sauce that is not too sweet. Will definitely be going back to try more pizza and entrees. read more

Ordered the Spaghetti & meatballs, the eggplant parmesan, and the riceball with my family. The riceball was decent, but the pasta was very bland and uninteresting, and the meatballs without flavour. It was like eating plain bread. Meanwhile the eggplant parm was just a thin layer of eggplant served on top of lot of spaghetti. Honestly the most disappointing aspect of the meal. If you're looking for quality Italian, don't come here. read more

The owner Steve is great. I love this place now. I know why my brother John goes there all the time he lives local but I travel from Patchogue just for his meatballs. Everything else is great. My advice, DITCH your pizza when you want EXCEPTIONAL, OUT OF THIS WORLD sauce, the PERFECT amount of cheese, and toppings that are unique and go to DiRaimo!! I'm from the city and I've never had such excellent sauce flavoring/seasoning and something extra.. sweet garlic? I had this sauce on the side one time when I ordered multiple items, I used the leftover for a few toast the next couple of days, yum.. seriously, that is nothing like anything I've tasted at other authentic Italian pizza places/restaurants... and the sausage onion pizza! I will never* enjoy any other slice ever again, seriously, they have ruined me... I am not usually this worked up over pizza, nor Italian (sorry, I'm SE Asian, I'm so used to our flavors and spices). Also, they have their own crushed red pepper it seems... uh, *drool*, I'm going to be asking for that again next time I order. read more

The funny story about DiRaimo's Pizza, across the street was a hot tub rental place. Back in the day, my girl friend and I would rent a tub, get a pizza from DiRaimo's, a bottle of wine and chill. I married that girl years later.. But the pizza! Always had a soft spot for DiRaimo's Pizza. I went into get a slice with my wife recently. We both took a bite and said it was just ok. As Billy Joel once said, You can never go back there again... Meh. Thanks for the memories DiRaimo's but see ya never again. read more

DiRaimo's used to be an institution. Now it's just a big, tacky, overpriced pizza place where the service is horrendous and food is sub-par at best. I constantly return due to social obligations (this is simply a go-to "landmark" location for townies' post-school functions and team sports)...and I'm disappointed EVERY SINGLE TIME. My wife found a short, dark hair on her slice and brought it back to the counter. The guy (with short, dark hair) acted like she was a PIA. That's DiRaimo's customer service. Disgusting. Chicken slice is basically like eating mulch. Take a look at my most recent (and final-I keeping telling myself) experience. Sh*t on a shingle. read more

DiRaimo's has been a staple of the Huntington Village pizza scene for decades. A really nice place with ample seating and a friendly staff. The food? Excellent. Their cheese pizza is top tier, with a thin crust and a perfect cheese/sauce ratio. It's always cooked to perfection, I have never been let down by them. Even after a 10 year gap between visits, they haven't changed. Their specialty slices are equally great. The buffalo and barbecue chicken slices are to die for, the BBQ especially. Their ravioli pizza is also a nice change and heartily recommended. Easy to get to with great parking, they're miles better than Little Vincent's. read more

I figured out what the issue with their food is- the cheese and crust have no taste. The toppings do, and they mask it a little, but I always leave here feeling unsatisfied. Nice service, that's good- but when I have a craving for pizza, I leave unfulfilled. Onto the next place! read more

The barg is marinated beef that is so soft and tender, it's truly delicious, the jujeh is chicken that is big pieces and is so juicy, and the Koobideh is ground beef that has so much flavor. The albaloo polo rice is my absolute favorite. The sweet and sour cherries, almonds, and pistachios compliments the basmati rice so well. It is my favorite rice hands down! I can eat a whole plate for myself, since it's so light and fluffy. Service is great, the wait staff is accommodating, and the food comes out quickly. The ambiance is nice as well. Plenty of seating, and has a nice view of Main Street. I always enjoy eating at Ravagh. Plenty of food, and I never leave hungry!

I used to drive 75 miles from Manhattan with my friends to Trenton, NJ to eat pizza at DeLorenzo's which was our #1 spot for years. When it closed, Junior's in Huntington became our #1 spot. I don't get to NY too often, but when I do, eating Anthony's 'Grandma' pie at Junior's makes the trip worth it. No place like it.
