Wanted something inexpensive for lunch and they offer pizza slices for $2.22 (plus tax) pickup only. This place is only takeout and isn't fancy inside but there are chairs to sit in while you wait but we didn't have to wait long for our slices even though we didn't call ahead. The pizza slices were huge and filling. Great value for your money. They have several other lunch specials that are under 10.00/person and also offer things like pasta sauce and meatballs that you can buy to make your own Italian dish at home. Born and raised in Windsor and growing up here, before moving to another city, I knew of Rosa's and have driven past this place several times. We all know how amazing Windsor pizza is, and yesterday was my chance to finally try it, and it was a good choice. My mom had picked me up from my eye doctor's appointment down the road, and we we're heading out to do some geocaching, but we were super hungry, and didn't want any of the fast food chains, but wanted something quick, and as we were driving down Walker road, my mom spotted Rosa's and decided to stop here. We ordered two slices of cheese and pepperoni pizza to go, and they had it freshly prepared and ready for us in under five minutes. The restaurant itself isn't an eat in experience, you walk in, order and pick up your pizza, the standing area is clean, and there is a washroom available while you wait. The pizza came out, decent sized and hot in two boxes for us, and I also ordered a pop, and for two slices of pizza and a pop, the total was $6.20, taxes on the pop of course. We sat in the car and practically inhaled our slices, which were huge. The price was amazing for what we ordered, the pizza was delicious and filling. I loved the thin crust it had. Definitely will be coming back here to order pizza when I am in town. read more

In the past, we have ordered from Rosa's often (about once a month over the last 7 years). That ends now. We have paid for 2 orders of fish and chip dinners which arrived cold to luke-warm and must now be warmed up. When I called to complain was told it was because it was busy - we have ordered on busy nights before and our food has never been anything less than hot. This food temperature (and waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food) is totally the fault of the driver. He either did not know where our apartment building was located and took a long time to find out &/or did not have the proper heat in his vehicle to keep the orders hot. Rosa's has such great quality in the food she serves whether it be takeout or catering. Rosa has provided catering for many of my personal functions and her team just catered the Windsor Sea Cadets - RCSCC Agamemnon Holiday Dinner providing Chicken Finger, Fries, Pasta and Vegetables and they went a hit. Needless to say with 70 youth between 12-17 years old, nothing went to waste. The one full tray that was untouched went to the Windsor Youth Centre. Pizza is good and affordable. There are better places to go in my opinion. What this place has going for it is that it's not just pizza. You have a ton of Italian options that aren't over priced. Quick decent food that will leave you satisfied. Next time you're looking for take-out or delivery, give them a call. read more

While at Windsor campground on July 27, 2018, ordered two Pizza (one med and one small). We asked 2-3 times for WELL DONE and THIN CRUST. The pizza came barely cooked and extra THICK crust. So much so that we ate the toppings and left the doughy crust; couldn't eat it. We phoned and talked to Amelia (sp?), and barely started explaining our problem when she started yelling and trying to defend the product. After much frustration, she stated she would replace the pizza's FREE when we ordered again. On August 12, we called; asked for Amelia (sp?) and tried to order the same 2 pizza. Amelia (sp?) stated, in a very angry and argumentative tone, that she did not agree to replace the Pizza for free. This was an absolute lie and we reminded her of the conversation and the notes we took at the time. She finally agreed to provide the Pizza, but now she stated we had to pay a $25.00 delivery charge. What a jerk to try to gouge us! We refused and she arrogantly stated, "Well you can pick it up then." We refused! The issue of the Pizza NOT cooked (doughy and too thick; NOT thin crust) is one thing but the lying and refusal (at first) to keep her agreement is unacceptable. Further, the arrogant, rude and aggressive Amelia (sp) is totally unacceptable for good customer relations and because of her . . and the refusal to back their product, will ensure that we NEVER ORDER FROM ROSA AGAIN. And, we will try to ensure everyone we talk to, we tell our experience and encourage them to also NOT ORDER FROM ROSA, especially at the Windsor campground. THIS is what happens when you don't accept and resolve customer complaints and especially when staff are rude and disrespectful to customer. read more

Food was horrible I ordered a club house sandwich, worse sandwich I have eaten in my entire life. The bacon was undercooked and chewy and the lettuce was brown and rotten. The bread was so soggy that it fell apart, couldn't even eat it... Never ordering from there again. read more

I have been a loyal customer of rosa's for over 25 years and it ended last night. The last few times that my husband and I have order from there they have been making many mistakes with the food so my husband will no longer eat from there but I still order my fish and chips from there at least once a week with no problem, I always make sure to ask the girl on the phone to put extra pops in the order to make sure that I have enough for delivery because I know that just the fish and chips is not enough for them to deliver to me, but last night the driver who came to my door had changed the amount on the bill and charged me even more. I understand a delivery charge and had no problem with it but this man was so rude and obnoxious, he basically told me to stop ordering because I don't spend enough. so I called the owner this morning and she was in full agreement with the driver. well so much for the customer is always right. well I told her well I guess this is the end of 25 year relationship and she could not care less. the food has become bland tasting and the only menu item I really liked was the fish and chips which last week and last night was over cooked basically almost un eatable. I am very disappointed with how I was treated and how the food has declined in quality and I would not recommend to anyone else and I will never eat from there again. read more
