Stopped in on a whim while passing through and was not disappointed. I'm glad I didn't Yelp this place before I came because they deserve way more stars. The staff was friendly. The seating area is limited, but clean and comfortable. The food is delicious. And the prices are reasonable. We opted for pizza because I couldn't get over the smell when we walked in. But I saw other meals that looked as good and smelled just as good. The garlic cheesy bread was perfect. I loved the marinara sauce. The pizza was cut square which in my opinion is the only way to cut a pizza and was fabulous! We will definitely stop in again the next time we are in town. read more

WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Many others have reviewed Roast's Elburn the same way. Paid almost 100.00 for 2 pizza and one was one topping. Charged for 2 deliveries and we didn't want it delivered. Didn't honor coupon. Gave driver a tip as it wasn't their fault. Credit charge was charged the wrong amounts. I contacted owner. He was SOOOOO disrespectful. Told me it wasn't his problem!. Went to the store for a print out to prove to Chase the incorrect charges. Charges where again more than what he told me on the phone the day before. When I asked a question he screamed at me to get out of the store. I have NEVER EVER been treated like this. I am so upset that this is the first time I have EVER reviewed a restaurant. This was so worth my time as people shouldn't be treated this way. read more

I have ordered there Pizza only, on Mondays 1/2 off specials and taken it to a Meeting it was well received by all. Much better pizza than the previous management. It doesn't seem like they're cutting corners, like before. That being said, I hope you don't have a problem with an order, because trying to get the owner to understand the problem. If you have ever had authentic Italian pizza this is the exact opposite..... friendly staff but terrible pizza. Place isn't the cleanest.

This review is mostly to acknowledge the owner works hard to provide good customer service. And the food is good. We find the veggie pizza and cheesy garlic bread to be excellent. But it is the guy who owns the place, and the staff, who try very hard to make this business work, and provide a good product to customers, that is what makes it 5 stars. read more

Disturbed with new owner here! We ordered a pizza on Valentine's Day for the kids and the delivery driver drove 80-100 feet through our lawn to deliver the pizza. Our driveway is well lit and it's obvious that the other 4 cars were parked in the driveway not the lawn. I called the store immediately to explain my experience. I was told no manager on duty. The owner would call in the morning. The next day I received no call. So I reached out. I was very kind explaining the situation and the owner told me that if I want to call the police (which I had no intentions of doing) they won't do anything and that I can go FUCK myself. I simply was looking for an apology and to express concern that the driver may be unfit to be on the road in the first place. As a buisness owner you would think he would be alarmed by this experience we had. We live on a beautiful farm that is kept well manicured and have not only pictures and videos of his drivers car driving on it but the damage he left behind. Just blows my mind they find this okay and the owners response. We have spent thousands of dollars ordering food from this restaurant between pizza parties to several catered events! Absolutely terrible. Ordered delivery, pizza box was entirely soaked in grease and basically falling apart- as a result, pizza was also inedibly greasy. I get pizza has grease, but this was just disgusting. Missing items from my order, when I called and spoke with the manager she did not seem the least apologetic, and told me I could wait about an hour for the item or they could cancel it. I canceled, wish I could have canceled on the grea-zza as well! I had never been here when the previous owners were in charge (there were a lot of negative reviews about them), but it is clear the new managers are looking to shed the bad image they left. On the front door in large writing it is stated that Rosati's is under new management. I frequently place my order online when I am leaving work to pick up on my way home, and in the 10 minute drive my meal is typically done in this time (salad or sandwich/ appetizers). The staff is very friendly and typically read the order back to me and even check the bag to make sure everything is in there. Highly recommend! read more

Stopped in for a slice of pizza and some mozzarella sticks. They handed me pizza that had to of been sottinh there for over two hours. The cheese on the side were crusty & the pizza tasted like rubber. I asked for a fresh slice they said it wouldn't be ready for 30 minutes so I got a refund and waiting for my mozzarella sticks. Once I got my mozzarella sticks I was very disappointed they weren't even cooked the cheese in the middle was COLD. I will never go back here. Waste of time & money . read more

The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that the pizza slid in the box. This stuff happens and when I called the manager had a new pizza sent over in 30 min. Rosati's has always had really good pizza with a good crust and toppings. It's been a while since I've had it so tonight I decided to order an 18in pizza with a few toppings. This pizza company is one of the few that cut their pizza in triangles which is my preferred style of pizza. Delivery was fine and it didn't take too long, so far so good until I opened the box and what do I see? fucking SQUARES, who the hell had the idea to cut this god damn pizza in squares, it's a triangle style of pizza. The center pieces are almost impossible to eat and then small triangles that are on the outside are just crust. I am never ordering from them again read more

Owner and employees do not know how to take care of customers. My order consisted of an 18in double dough sausage and half pepperoni and a free sm thin. The pizza came out and it was raw in the middle. I called and they sent me a replacement that was cooked but was thin crust size and had very little sausage and pepperoni. I called again to get disrespected and decided to just wait and call owner. I called owner and wow what a mistake. He kept interrupting me as i was trying to explain. I told him i did not want money back i just wanted to tell him i was unhappy. We ate here once prior to the new management takeover because that was all it took to scare us away before. I'm so glad we tried them again when the new owner bought it because they changed immensely. First, the customer service here is great. The new owner and employees are all very friendly, even when we get complicated with our orders. They're always accommodating. Their thin crust and deep dish pizzas are consistently good. We also like their wings, they have more than just a couple different sauces to choose from. The fries are crinkle cut and perfect when you get them well done with a side of cheese sauce. My absolute favorite thing they have here is the gluten free pizza. I'm not gluten free but my best friend is and she got me hooked on it. It sounds crazy but if you like a crispy crust, give their gluten free pizza a try. We ask for it well done and the crust gets so deliciously crispy! I also love the sauce they put on the gluten free pizza, it's more like a marinara. The only downside is there's only one size offered. It's enough for two people to share or one seriously hungry person. If you haven't tried them again since the new managers took over, I recommend it. They've definitely improved! read more

We have not been here since the new management took over. After passing it for months now we decided to take a chance and see if it had improved. It was a great decision. From the time we called in to place the order you could tell that they were trying hard to get rid of the bad image that is following them. Very courteous on the phone even offering a coupon. I think last night was the last night we will be ordering pizza from here. I ordered a 1/2 pepperoni, 1/2 sausage "well done" but not burnt. The first pizza came, it was pepperoni and sausage mixed, and it was nice and golden brown. But it was the wrong pizza. So I called and the person apologized. They asked if I had eaten any of it, which we didn't, but I would not want to be the one who gets the pizza that was delivered to the wrong house. Who know what people do when they are hungry and get the wrong order. They brought over the correct pizza right away. It was no where near "well done". The crust was still white. It was chewy, not crispy. They took the other pizza back, but I felt sorry for whomever s pizza that was because it was all smashed to one side when I opened it because the driver tilted it too far when he was standing at my door. Why do I tip the guy $7.35 to come across the street to bring me the wrong tilted pizza? And then the undercooked pizza? We have had alot of hit and miss with this Rosati's. With the old and new management. Pay with a credit card, they show up expecting cash. Pay with cash, there is no receipt. Forgot the soda. Horrible customer relations and tiny chicken parmigiana pieces!!!!! Placed an order for delivery, chicken parmigiana pasta and fried pickles. When I received the order it was wrong, they gave me a chicken parmigiana sandwich instead. When I called the girl said she could send out the correct order or give me the difference back. No offer of a discount or any other offer and they wanted the old cold sandwich back! Lol. I had to then wait an hour before it arrived, glad the rushed right over. My daughter ordered items from the Elburn, IL location. She gave the driver a cash tip and signed the credit card receipt. The driver then went and added an additional tip to the receipt she signed. I tried to discuss this with the manager at Rosati's and he refused to admit the driver added an additional tip. read more

I have had Rosati's many times in the past in other local cities. This one seems to be somewhat below the other locations in their standards. For the most part things are the same, pizza, chicken, ribs, etc.. but the pasta is UNEDIBLE. The noodles are falling apart soggy! They must be cooked first thing in the afternoon and left to sit in water all day. Not fresh or even close to al dente. I called and complained and they gave me a free pasta with the exact same results. Soggy falling apart mush. Best pizza in Elburn. This location is always our "go to". The others in the surrounding area have been hit and miss. I've found this Elburn location to be the most consistent. Great food and friendly service. As others have mentioned, if there is a mistake they really go out of their way to make it right.
