Best pizza place in Elburn. It's true because there's not a lot. Paisano's is one of the few places to order an actual pizza. Has other Italian options to choose from. The spaghetti is among the other good items. A delivery or pick up order is all you can get because there's no room inside for anything. It only has a counter. The other options besides pizza include salads and spaghetti. It's about $5 for a Side Salad, which comes with iceberg lettuce. The Spaghetti is about $10 and is basic looking stuff. It comes with meat sauce but you can get marinara. The sauce seemed excessively oily. Poured out a lot of the oil before eating it. This still wasn't that bad, just not like it was anything at all special. Food was made pretty fast. It was ready by the time they said it would be so that's one good thing about it. Very good pizza! We went the stuffed crust add-on to our pizzas and everything was outstanding. I didn't catch her name but the girl working the counter was very helpful with our online order. They have in-house coupons on their menu, but there was no coupon code to input online. My order was eligible for one of two offers they had.... one being 15% off and the other being for an elcair pie. Since the 15% off would've involved a charge back on the card, I asked if it was too late to add the pie to the order, and she said I could take a pie. It was outstanding - plenty of cheese, and sausage, with a tenderness to the dough that's better than when it's baked, especially at the thick knurled seam. I'm a Chicago pizza girl. I mean a Vito and Nick's, Fox's, La Villa pizza girl. Long story short, I ended up in Kane County through marriage and Paisano's is the best pizza I can get without driving home. The crust is thin, but not a burnt cracker. The sauce is perfect, and the quality of the cheese is fantastic. It is also the best balance of grease: kids will need a napkin, adults will not (This is where they beat out Al's Pizza; which is tasty, but a complete grease bomb). Must say this is one of the best pizzas in the Fox Valley area. Ingredients are fresh and plentiful, mozzarella cheese is so good and the sauce, oh the sauce!!! Crust is just right, not to thin and not to thick, done to perfection. The staff is always very nice and friendly. And don't forget the pies! Monthly pies change and this trip we got a Chocolate Eclair and French Silk.....the pies are wonderful! My only complaint is they don't deliver to us, a little far for them.
