Kids and I loved it! Garlic parm wings were crispy and flavorful. Kids got smash burgers and fries, I got a Philly with onion "tangles." !! My sandwich was gargantuan, I swear it felt like 2lbs of beef. Had a bite of the smashburger, and gotta say, I'll be getting one next time! The fries were amazing as well...great seasoning and really crispy. As others mentioned, they fry in 100% beef tallow, which to me, is superior to vegetable or soybean oil. Wings were very good, better than Birds Nest but Franks for the Memories in Mundelein is still the best. Teriyaki sauce was good however there was lots of sesame seed as an added sprinkle. Hot sauce was prefect heat - flavorful but not can't feel my tongue hot. Seasoned fries were delicious. Not sure if they have unseasoned fries. Gyros has potential - tzatziki sauce was good had some paprika sprinkled on top, pita a little over toasted, and gyros meat had good flavor but I got the dried - over cooked crusty outside. The staff was friendly--the owner was even out and about talking to customers! The food, which is cooked in beef tallow, was delicious. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The onion tanglers melted in my mouth. The smash burger was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The wings left a little to be desired in size and price, but the sauces they came in were delicious. Extremely hungry boyfriend ordered a 2nd burger (We split the 1st one!) and that one's patty was not as crispy and it was loaded with too many onions. Nice family owned restaurant. Service has been pleasant and friendly every time. We've tried the pork belly bites, smash burger, onion tanglers, and fries. Everything was very tasty. The portions are quite generous - especially the sides - so it's easy to share with one or more other people. I ordered 10 wings and the onion rings. I fully intended to bring some of it home. I was licking my fingers and ate it all before I left. So good. Only disappointment was Blue Cheese dressing was $1.00 extra, and the cup was only about 1/2 full. I know if I had asked, they probably would have given me more, but I used it sparingly. My wife and I dined in here a few weeks ago. Local social media raved about the smash burger so that's what we went with. Two smash burgers one with fries the other with onion tanglers. Onion tanglers are good but the fries are fantastic. The smash burger was bangin as the kids say. Forget the chicken these burgers are delicious. We both got fountain drinks which were mediocre. Second trip I got the chick stix and my wife got the char dog. The chick stix were decent but I would do without the sauce (maybe on the side). It wasn't bad but it has lemon in it which I'm not a fan of. My wife said she could eat two of the char dogs and it beat someone else down the street. Once again onion tanglers were decent but fries were delicious. Fountain drinks remained the same but one of the drinks was completely out. Seating is a bit awkward but all in all I will be back for the smash burger (at a minimum) without hesitation. I will try the wings if I know I can get sauce on the side. I definitely would not be recommending the wings- the chicken wings (chimichurri, jerk and mango habenero sauce) was below par. The mango habenero sauce had flavor but I wish the chicken had some seasoning. It was as if the chicken wings were deep fried and covered in sauce. The bun (Martin's potato roll) and thin strips of onions great; special sauce was flavorful but I would get on the side next time as it makes the bun a bit soggy. OMG! Took my son to Meetch's for a birthday restaurant crawl. Heard about it on Facebook and it looked good , so we decided to try it. We drove from indiana for about an hour until we got there. This place does not disappoint!!! It is very clean and cozy. The smashburger and pork belly bites are to die for!!! Wings as well! We tried several things off the menu in everything was great! Even with the 15-20 min delay until actually eating the food, everything tasted amazing and had so much flavor! Everyone that was a part of my order agreed as well!! Big fan of this new place! I had the smash burger combo (fries) and mango habanero boneless wings. Everything was rich and savory but to be real the fries stole the show IMO. I believe they were battered fries. Just perfectly crispy. Wish the mango habanero was spicier but it was comfortable and flavorful. The lady at the register said they will be adding chicken wraps to their menu which I'm pumped for so I will most definitely be returning. Great experience for me! read more
