Crust was burnt / over cooked. Oven is hotter than you think or the pizzas are not being closely monitored or THIN v. DEEP dish pies require different times to cook. 4x I've tried and same results = burnt crust. Ken was very nice to fix the last pizza problem (too many onions) but then it was still burnt next time. So they need to take a closer look at the burnt crust problem ... THIN crust needs less time in oven than the DEEP dish. Love this Chicago style pizza place just need to fix a couple things. We use to go to the Ray/McQueen Chandler location for 5 years 1-3 times a week but now live in Maricopa AZ. We love the food. Tonight I called in a take out order and was told 20-25 min. We ordered s dozen wings and a Cheef sandwich. My husband showed for the pick up, signs say must wear mask but when he walked in no one was wearing mask. Even the manager came out with out a mask, he had to wait another 20 min for our food, He saw 2 people in the kitchen with mask below their nose. And he is very angry. When he got home and saw the Cheef sandwich, it was half the size we normally get but the same price and my husband and made it very clear we will never be doing business with them again. This was the first time we tried Rosati's, because we seem to have a hard time finding a good pizza in Maricopa. We did an online order. We ordered a large pepperoni and pineapple pizza, 12 bone-in wings, 6 boneless wings and a salad. When we brought it home, they had given us the wrong pizza, a pizza with Italian sausage on it, even though it had the correct ticket on it. I called them and was asked if we wanted to return it for store credit. What? No, we just want the correct pizza. When my son took it back, the cook was trying to explain how we were given the wrong pizza. At this point the explanation was moot. We just wanted the pizza. Now about the correct pizza. First of all it was cut into small squares, which was weird and it was just mediocre tasting pizza. I'm giving it 2 stars, because the wings were good. The salad was just a salad, nothing special. The staff at this place was friendly and informative about their foods. That said, I would never eat food from there again. We were so disappointed. The thin crust pizza we ordered was sad. Crust was tasteless, anchovies and sausage was in large hunks spaced out across pizza instead of crumbled all across. The toppings and cheese came off the crust with the first bite. We were told it would be half and hour and they let you know by phone when it was ready. Never a great fan of CHICAGO style. From Brooklyn ny pizza on every 4-5 blocks. Original ITALIAN cooking from Italy all of them. Ordered 14" deep dish plain pizza. Wow bam fresh sauce that was delicious. The kind of sauce you can drink. Meatball old style perfect taste and bread. They definitely need to make it larger size. 3 meatballs with cheese $8 needs to be bigger at that price. Excellent meatball sandwich and I don't have to drive 2 hour roundtrip anymore to get excellent food. Had the ITALIAN beef sandwich again to small at the $7 price. Again delicious meat and bursting with gravy and cheese each bite. Add it all up with the 10% discount $36 dollars for all 3 items. Was it worth it will I go here every time. Hell yes. Finally a real restaurant and it's only takeout in MARICOPA. Fix the phone system and so far it's perfect like being in Italian food heaven and 5 minutes from home. Reordered and planed on waiting another 60 Min for their overpriced pizza. 40 minutes later get a call they lost my account info and expected me to wait another 60 min for it to be delivered. My family and I tried Rosati's for the first time last night. Stopped on the way home and waited there for my order. It did take a bit for the pizza to cook but it was delicious and quality food isn't going to be ready in five minutes. I have to say I experienced the best customer service that I have gotten in a long time. Very impressed! I will definitely be going back :) read more

Very disappointing. Perhaps thin crust gourmet pizza is not their specialty. Couldn't taste any garlic or Olive oil. The thin crust reminded me of pop in fresh dough. Very pricey at $25+ for an 18" pizza. Might give them another try with a more typical red sauce/cheesy pie. But we generally do not eat that type of pizza. read more

The maricopa location has horrible quality when it comes to the type of food they are presenting for the price. We Have started ordering pizza here on a regular basis. The last two times we have ordered pizza, the pizzas have been burnt or incorrectly made. The first time the pizza was Burnt. When I brought it to the managers attention he said that he could make a new pizza for us but we would have to wait another hour after waiting an hour and a half to get the first one to get a replacement. He said that they needed to have the Bert pizza returned to them in order for us to get a replacement. We ended up agreeing because the original pizza was unedible. The second time our toppings were missing from the pizza that were ordered. Supposed to have four toppings only had three. Again spoke to the manager. Unapologetically, he offered to either replace the pizza if we would drive back to the pizza store with the remaining 1/2 or more of pizza or he offered to refund us the cost of the single topping at five dollars.The last two times they've made mistakes and they do not seem to do anything to make up for the Inconvenience. No half off coupon, no free replacement and you can go ahead and keep the old one, nothing. Just here is five bucks for your trouble. One would think that when one pays $35 for a single pizza it would be about perfect. I think will try other pizza places in town that are better at what they do. read more

First let me tell you this is a pick up only restaurant. We recently moved here to Maricopa and have tried many of the restaurants. This by far is one of our favorites. So far we have tried the pick 4 ingredient pizza..... yummmm so good. Also have tried fried ravioli, which was also delicious. The Italian beef sandwich was delicious, although we did dip it in marinara. My favorite item is the chopped salad. They use quality ingredients and it shows. This is my third and final visit! This is the second time they have messed up my order and have nothing other than "sorry about that" to say. When I suggested they offer a pizza on the house, the manager stated that they don't do that but the pizza that they made (not ordered) was valued at a higher price. A simple pepperoni deep dish is an easy order...an all the way with extra toppings is a far cry and an additional 30-45 minutes to make a new one will not suffice. Delicious pizza!!!!! We ordered a 14inch stuffed pepperoni pizza. It had great flavor not greasy or salty ingredients were perfect! Crust was nice light and flaky. Probably the best pizza in Maricopa! The pizza was thick kinda like having 2 slices of pizza. The 14 inch was cut into 8 slices total. my husband ordered a thin crust pizza and it was soggy and too doughy. the toppings, sauce, and cheese is good but the pizza crust is not crispy, it's soggy. in the middle of the pizza it's like eating raw dough. i hate it when my husband orders pizza from it, i dont like undercooked soggy pizza. you cant pick it up and eat it because its too soggy. read more

Just ordered our first and last pizza from Rosati's here in Maricopa. We ordered a $24.00 pizza and were charged $32.00. When we called back to see what the problem was, the girl said she didn't know why the computer made that charge, but she couldn't give us a refund because the computer figures the prices and she couldn't make any changes. This is a poor way to run a business. Teach your employees how to do their job and not rob patrons because they don't know how to operate the cash register. $32.00 for a 14" pizza. I was so happy when this business opened since I'm from Chicago but have been disappointed numerous times. My order has never arrived as it should. I order sandwiches with extra jus and sweet peppers. Not one order has been correct. There might be no peppers or hot peppers or dry and barely warm. Once I ordered a drink which they forgot. I even tried ordering online so I put it all in myself. Didn't bother calling when we were missing peppers. It's always an hour and fifteen minutes delivery and another hour if you have to send it back. Tonight I cancelled my order after waiting almost two hours for delivery. I can drive to Portillo's, eat a sandwich and drive home in that kind of time. Which is what we will do from now on. I would have preferred to give my local business my money but they really don't care about their customers. Sorry to have to give a bad review for a local business. read more
