I was tired and hungry, let's order pizza. We ordered a simple thin crust, sausage and mushroom pizza. A dozen wings, plain with sauce on the side. Right off, I opened the box and the pizza was all on one side as if it had been dropped. The only even slightly crisp part of the crust was the outside edge, the rest was slimy and undercooked. There was barely any sauce, you could barely tell it was a pizza. The wings were tolerable, no hot sauce or bleu cheese dressing arrived with the order. This location is the slowest and most inaccurate pizza location in all of Maricopa, and that includes the slow service at Barro's. The wait times given take 45-60 minutes longer than you're told. Employees go on massive breaks together forgetting to service customers. Management doesn't seem to care either when reporting issues. What attracted me first was that there pizza is cut in squares which is great, thin crust was perfect Im a texture type of person yes it was crispy but just to my liking! We ordered the white pizza super cheesy, great flavor the middle pieces are soft of course because well there is not crust in middle pieces the following day we heated it up the middle pieces in the air fryer pizza mode and Yeap! Ordered a deep dish with no pizza sauce add bbq and a pepperoni pizza at the Maricopa location, pizza was made with pizza sauce they said they could make a new one in a hour or we could take what they made with no discounts. We decided to take the pizza home as our kiddos were hungry. Took one bite not only was the sauce wrong the toppings were wrong and pizza was under cooked. I called and spoke with the manager of the store, there was no apology, no option to get a refund, only option was to wait for a hour and the could remake it. We had them remake it as it's expensive and the pizza we were given was terrible! When We brought back our wrong order and picked up the new pizza there was someone else there to pick up their pizza and they were told the same. "We remade your pizza twice, it still isn't what you ordered but we thought you still might want it." We order from Rosati's at least once a month. Their Calzones are the best and the cannolis are to die for. We have everything delivered and have never had a problem. the service is great but we don't know about the Ambiance since we have it delivered. All of their menu can be customized to your taste and the menu is vast. don't be afraid to order everything you want the way you want it. don't just settle on a "pizza" get it the way you want with extras and cooked the way you want it. Originally from Seattle so we were really hesitant in the first place, however, First time was amazing never had Chicago like that before . it was beyond good, and so gooey with cheese. I was quite pleased I thought I would be disappointed that the marinara was not in the calzone but all in all it was just as good. my favorite is still the Chicago style .We got to meet the owner tonight. I ordered one 18" thin crust with PICK 4 toppings---sausage, pepperoni, bacon & basil. Also had a coupon for a free 12" thin crust + the cost of the same pick 4. Both Pizzas were excellent and worth the cost. If the price concerns you, there are other low cost pizza places in Town. The bottom line here, you get what you pay for. I'm glad to see Rosati's here in Maricopa. We tried this location Thursday night. They were slammed busy, but I'm glad we waited. The quality of our pizza was top notch. See attached pic. It was just as delicious as it looks. The BEST Chicago style pie I've EVER had, to be honest. In fact, it was better than the Rosati's I've had at their Phoenix and Tempe locations. It was absolutely perfect! The biggest difference you'll notice first with a Rosati's pie is the crust. Most Chicago pies have a bland, "doughy" flavor. Rosati's has a unique flavor profile of crisp buttery crust, an abundant amount of quality mozzarella cheese, and a popping, tangy marinara sauce that at least tastes homemade. Delicious! I'm what some would consider a "pizza snob" because I have stop expecting anything remotely close to real pizza a long time ago from 90% of pizza chains. The corporate chains have reduced themselves to producing absolute garbage these days. In fact I've ceased to see any reason why I should wait for, pay for, and tip for most of these products instead of just popping a frozen pizza into the oven myself. Take Pizza Hut and Papa John's for instance. They've allowed their bean-counting corporate executives to make so many incremental modifications to their core recipes over the years, that their current product is now a mere shadow of their classic, iconic, standard-setting quality pizza lovers enjoyed back in the 70's & 80's. Now THAT was Pizza! Rosati's still does it right. For now (at least), they remain committed to protecting their product integrity and serving up great, traditional pizzas. Their wings are pretty decent, and their pasta dishes are good, too. Sure, they're working out some kinks right now with a new staff and grand opening. They're getting bombarded with thousands of new, curious Maricopa customers, so be patient. Remember, the Chicago pies take about 40 minutes to cook thoroughly, because they're a few inches thick. Don't let that discourage you! It's well worth the extra wait. So give them a try. Be patient and nice. Tip the driver. If you have a sub-par experience during their grand opening, let the manager know so they can fix it. We want these guys to stay! I'm literally getting hungry just talking about it. First thing, the wait time for delivery is horrific. This order time was1 hour and 19 min So if they mess up your order like they did this time well..... I guess your going to wait till there rush is over per manager on duty. The extra wait is extremely hard when you have kids that hungry and told they have to wait another 1 1/2. Since they took there time, it didnt change the fact we still had to feed our kids and bedtimes to meet. So I made a trip to Little Ceasars and picked up some hot and ready extra best mostest pepperoni pizza so the kids could eat and make it to bed ontime. While putting the kids to bed, the door bell rang with the replacement pizza. If you could call it a replacement. The corrected order was soggy, under cooked pizza with raw dough in center 2 hours and 45 min after we initially ordered. We received no credit, no sorry just oh well, what do you want me to do? Got terrible food poisoning after eating half the pizza (we threw the other half away) between my fiancé and I. When I called to let the manager know he was extremely defensive and practically accused us of lying although we weren't asking for anything in return. I NEVER leave reviews but I had to for this. The pizza was over 30 minutes late. The delivery driver was EXTREMELY rude to both myself and my partner. He called and said "I don't have all day where you at" and he couldn't hear me so he hung up and called again and was like HELLO so I said we're coming and he said "yeah" and then hung up on me. Was happy to find out there was a local rosati's in Maricopa. Went to one several times in North Phoenix and the pizza was consistently among the best I have ever had. You pay a premium but it was worth it. So I came to this with high expectations, but was disappointed. The pizza was good, but couldn't compare to the North Phoenix restaurant. There is no way that this pizza justified the premium price. Payed about $30 with tip, and basically got a pizza that was of about the same quality as a pizza hut, dominos, heavy on sauce and light on cheese and meat. This is the very first time I was so let down by Rosati's. What makes a Great Italian Beef Sandwich is The Gravy. I've boasted for years how Chicago Style Italian Beef Sandwiches were the absolute yummiest. So when my brother and sis in law from California came to visit, of course I proudly stated Rosati's Italian Beefs for lunch. Mind you I usually order extra gravy on the side when I order for delivery and find I didn't have to. This time I didn't and I'm still embarrassed and kicking my own butt for not doing so. What my pickup order of $78 consisted of was the driest sandwich ever!! It was so dry that the roll did not have an inkling of gravy on it. Everytime I call them and complain about it, they apologize and say it won't happen again but everything it happens again.
