I rarely leave reviews, but this experience demands it. I tried to place a simple pickup order an hour and fifteen minutes before closing. The website clearly instructed me to call the store for orders, so I did. When I called, the owner arrogantly told me I could "only order through Uber Eats," completely contradicting his own website. When I pressed him for clarification, he became downright dismissive and unhelpful, talking in circles and refusing to take responsibility. To top it off, he arrogantly claimed, "We know what we're doing; we make lots of money," completely disregarding customer experience. This kind of unprofessionalism, poor communication, and lack of accountability is unacceptable. I won't be returning, and I strongly advise others to steer clear. read more

I really wish I didn't have to write a negative review of this place. Placed an order on their website to be ready at 5:30. Walked in the door at 5:25 expecting I might have to wait a few minutes. They hadn't even started making my deep dish pizza. "It'll be 25 minutes." Didn't let me know when it was finished, so I waited 40 minutes to get my pizza. No offer of any kind of compensation. All I can say is this place is a joke. Chose this place for my family (from all throughout the Midwest) to get together for a holiday lunch. I called 2 weeks in advance to ask if they could accommodate a group of 15 at noon on December 26, 2024. Sure thing and they would be open at 11AM that day. My party starts arriving right before noon and we find out they wouldn't even take our order for at least 45 minutes. 2 employees in the place and one comments they weren't even aware our party had reservations. The other comments they shouldn't have opened that day. The world is a different place post-covid and I try to have more patience and understanding while targeting much lower expectations on the dining out experience. That said, where this place fell on its face, Monical's Pizza in Pekin shined bright! Called them up and asked if they could accommodate our party with 15 minutes notice and they were more than willing to welcome us in! They went above and beyond to provide excellent, friendly service and even better food than we could have hoped for! We had a great experience and I suspect departed the restaurant before we would even have gotten our food at Rosati's. In the end, thanks for the failure Rosati's! Came in here driving north for work, my coworker had recommended it and I met him here. We came in a little after 11AM so early lunch, and it was dead. I was surprised because it's so great! The service was awesome, super quick, always had our drinks refilled. Food came out pretty quick as well. Pizza was super high quality, delicious crust. They're super giving with their toppings. We also got the toasted raviolis which were SO GOOD. I would eat those every day if I could. Highly recommend. read more

What a disappointment! I made reservations for 12-15 and they set us at 2 separate tables. They did have tea or lemonade. They told us what they were out of when we started ordering. The AC doesn't work correctly. The bathrooms were disgustingly gross! It had to be 80 + degrees in the restaurant. Our server was the only good thing of the evening. Waited 5 minutes to get seated, not a big deal but the hostess didn't walk us over to our table but only pointed and said "one of those booths over there"...in a restaurant with multiple booths in there. Our appetizer came out burnt, there was food in the cups, and the service was just the worst I have ever experienced. BEST PIZZA in Peoria area!! If you have been used to the best pizza in the world (Chicago pizza- real Chicago style pizza varieties that include thin crust and deep dish), and live in central Illinois, Rosati's in North Pekin is the only place that you will find truly awesome pizza. No fake disappointments like other places claim in Peoria- this is the real deal. Bloomington-Normal has a Rosati's and a Giordano's (lucky BN- probably because of ISU students from Chicago area who know the best pizza varieties in the world). We used to drive to BN just for the pizza (Peoria has been a pizza desert since Aurelio's left town). No more. Thank goodness we found this Rosati's location in North Pekin. A bit of a drive, but oh so worth it. We lived all over the US and a good pizza is almost non-existent (New York tasteless cardboard styles are ok but not close to the superior Chicago crust, cheese, and the key: amazing sauce). Thank goodness we have a top-line pizza place in Peoria!! And, the restaurant itself is very nice. Clean, modern, large enough for a family, and very friendly people. A pretty (and easy) drive from north Peoria, but takes about 40 minutes round trip. VERY worth it!!!! read more

We've been here like six times already since they opened and have yet to have a bad experience. Their stuffed pizza is otherworldly, their thin crust is great, their breadsticks are probably the best I've ever had. And their sandwiches, oh their sandwiches. The meatball sub is basically the Platonic ideal of a meatball sub. My personal favorite though has been the Italian combo with mozzarella and giardiniera. Having been born and raised in Chicago coming to the Peoria area meant leaving Chicago style pizza behind. It took a lot of years but Rosati's is what I have been waiting on. The thin crust sausage is an outstanding representation of a true Chicago pie. I noted a couple of people said it was soggy but that may be from too much time being delivered. Never experienced that dining in. This is our new favorite place, try it you will like it. read more

Pizza is good. Breadsticks with garlic butter are awesome! Salad prices are great but if they are busy, the salad is not cold and crisp. The sodas are some of the worst in the Peoria area. I've tried all they have to offer, and they are all weak and have too much carbonation and not enough syrup. We think they do this so customers order alcoholic drinks so they can make more money. Waitresses are all friendly and aim to please. Rosati's cannot keep up with the customers eating inside because of all the carry outs and deliveries. On weekends, expect a long wait. read more
