The picture shows a 16 inch, 30 dollar pizza. But it's not 16 inch, not even close. And it's not worth half the $30 cost. And the dough actually tastes bad. Heavy and off flavor. Whoever made the dough is an idiot. They forgot to add salt to the dough. You have no idea how weird this tastes. Good pizza dough has flour, salt, oil, yeast and water. It is allowed to raise slowly. This is fast rise, without flavor or an heavy doughy flavor. Not yeasty thankfully but worse than I know how to describe. As a teenager, I worked an Italian restaurant and we never, ever served an undersized pie. A 16" pie was put on the table. The restaurant also started the dough before sunup and gave it to the dough-boys early am and refrigerated time to raise and develop flavor. The restaurant needs someone to show them how to put a pie together. Did it shrink? Are they incompetent or intentionally screwing with people? For a premium $30 pie, toppings are missing. Charged $2.50 for each additional topping and this has less toppings than DiGiorno. Where is the beef? And, the toppings there are, low flavor. Italian sausage bland. Pepperoni bland. Canadian bacon (?) like smoked ham. I can't find the hamburger. This is a mistake. The sauce is nice for a jar sauce but there is not much of it and since its skimpy all I taste is that weird bland dough. I tried to get a finger swipe taste but there is no sauce on the pie to get a finger swipe. The cheese is heavy and does have flavor. It's real. A bit better than buying kroger mozzarella block mozz and shredding it yourself but not as good as a block of whole milk mozzarella. I added peppers and penzies frozen pizza spice and it did not help. There are many better pies in town. Avoid this place. read more

With the covid-19 we are being careful were we carryout from for medical reasons. Today we decided to order a carryout pizza for dinner. I went in to pick it up and the kitchen staff does not wear face coverings :( Christina the manager on duty said from behind the cash register without a mask on they are not required to and it was approved by the Tazewell County Health Department and proceeded back into the kitchen. If you are looking for masks during food prep don't expect to find it there! If you are looking for a Rosati's Pizza the Bloomington Normal Restaurant per corporate guidelines requires masks in the food prep area and all other staff. read more

Ive had the stuffed pizza, the thin, double dough and the calzones. The main flavor comes from the sauce and cheese, the dough is a little bland so id stick with the thin or stuffed. This is very tasty pizza and is one of the best chain joints around. Bread sticks are A+. read more

Food tasted great. The first time we went, service was superb (Tasha). The second time, it took forever for anyone to even come to our table (not that busy either). She seemed rather aloof. The third time, the server was good, but all of the help was nervous and on-edge because management was rather edgy & rude to them in front of us even. Some server dropped her tray and none of management helped her pick up the dropped items. A leader must also learn to serve or they will not be effective. People won't be at their best because they are nervous of the overbearing managers. Sure they will make mistakes, this is a new restaurant, but correct in private and help them. Also, pizza came out wrong and it was a big debate on how they would handle it. They gave half off that pizza, but when kitchen messes up it isn't hard to figure out what to do! read more

This is kind of a double review. I went there the first time cause I'm from DuPage county and know Rosati's. Pizza was really good compared to Peoria IL pizzas. Compared to Chi-town pizza an 8. The second review I went for pasta and got spaget. You know how you eat spaghetti in a good Italian place and it seems to grow on your plate? Not so here. Probably the first Italian restaurant of note that I went to and ended up being disappointed in the amount of pasta that was served. Geez! What's cheaper than pasta to serve? Went the other night with a large group of people. We ordered one of every appetizer and went family style on them. There was nothing that wasn't delicious. The chicken strips and garlic bread sticks were the high lights, but everything was amazing. FINALLY! A decent pizza place in the Peoria area. Since Aurelio's closed, there have not been any really good places in the Peoria area to find a great pizza. In fact, many of us consider Peoria a "pizza desert" and national chains have been about as good as it gets...... until now! We have driven from Peoria to Normal to get Rosati's pizza in the past, and although North Pekin is not exactly in the neighborhood, it is worth the drive. We usually order for a pick-up (we prefer this to eating in most restaurants), so cannot comment on servers. This is the first time we have eaten here and we will be back! Very reasonably priced for very good pizza. We had a the bread sticks. They were amazing. There were just two of us, so had to take most of them home. Very generous portion! We also split the Italian table salad. Their homemade ranch dressing was very good. We ordered a 14 inch thin crust . We loved the sausage on it . It was perfectly cheesey.too. We will be back. Would recommend ordering their deep dish pizza ahead. It takes 40 minutes. We have been to the Pekin location several times in the past and had good food. We went there tonight and was disappointed. The womens rest room was filthy. There was BM on one toilet and the other appeared to not have been cleaned in several days. There were paper towels all over the floor as the wastebasket was full and there was no soap in the soap dispenser. I mentioned to our waitress all of the above. She stated she would tell the manager. The manager was told however nobody went to check on the condition of the restroom. There was no service recovery attempted. They did a nice job remodeling this space. We went with some deep dishes, which we way over ordered base on the waitresses direction. My family and I opted for a non-traditional feast of pizza for Easter dinner. My husband and I were especially eager to see if this Rosati's location was as good as the Chicagoland locations that we often dined at when we lived there. Even the smell was the same. We ordered 3 pizzas with different toppings, for the varied tastes in our family. My husband and I could hardly wait from the time of pick up to our final destination, only a mere 10 minutes away. We both enjoyed the Monster with all the amazing toppings. I can't wait to go back and try the Cheef and the lasagna, two of my fav non pizza items from Rosati's. Overall was decent. Waitress was very polite. Portions are very large. Will say that the Marinara and the meatballs need to have a lot more seasoning as the were bland. Dad had same issue with the Italian Beef but said the dip was good. He and Mom have been here before and really like the Pizza. Would eat here again but hope they punch up the flavors. read more

We visited Rosati's Saturday night at 6:30,there were four of us dining. Upon arrival it was obvious they were unorganized and took forever to seat us even though it wasn't overly busy. Once we were seated the hostess laid down 3 napkin rolls of silverware and said he would soon be over with the 4th..we ordered breadsticks and a Caesar salad for an appetizer,the salad was warm and overly seasoned and the breadsticks never came due to a glitch in the iPad they were using to take down orders. We ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken,a 14 inch deep dish and a 10 inch deep dish. I also sent my ice tea back as it wasn't ice tea. The pizza came out and was not done in the middle on both pizzas. They took them back to the kitchen to cook longer and then came back to our table with burnt crust..we didn't eat anymore of it. After asking several times for another fork it finally came when we were done with the one piece of pizza we each picked at. My friend actually ate his pizza with the spoon given to me for the ice tea! The waitress apologized.The manager came out to offer a free coupon and could not even make eye contact with us as she looked to be completely high as a kite! We walked out still paying 28$ for the fettuccine,salad and drinks...NEVER AGAIN!! read more
