Visiting from Atlanta this week and tried this place. I have tried several places out here and finally a good pizza. I got the thin crust and it was excellent. I would say to Size Up because the thin crust small was not enough for me next time I'll get the next size up. Note that the pizza is cut into squares not slices. Bad night at this restaurant. The kitchen was backed up by an hour, but nobody told us when we sat down. We ordered right away, but By the time a waitress finally told us they were behind, it was already 30 minutes later. We asked for the manager, who finally came out as we were leaving. We recently tried Rosati's Pizza in Oro Valley and were impressed by the extensive menu, including build-your-own options. The thin crust meat pizza with mushrooms and black olives was a hit--crispy and bursting with flavor.However, the cheesy garlic bread left us wanting more. Surprisingly, it lacked the expected garlicky kick, and the overall flavor was a bit underwhelming. On the flip side, the buffalo wings had just the right amount of spice, satisfying our taste buds.While we enjoyed our experience overall, we'd opt for a different appetizer next time. The pizza steals the show, but there's room for improvement in the appetizer department. We did take out so I can't speak to either service or ambiance. But our delivery was ahead of schedule by 20 minutes. Very fast! read more

I usually love this place but got a to go order tonight. Felt light when I left so checked and they had forgotten the side salad. Waitress was indifferent, no apology or anything. Ordered a combo sandwich and noticed that the Aus Jus was leaking and had to ask for napkins and then got home and the hot peppers were leaking as well. Don't order anything with "fresh" garlic. It was not fresh....tasted old, weird chewy texture.

This is the second time I ordered a pizza and I wanted a standard pie cut (not square cut). Both times the kitchen had to make me another pizza because they got the order wrong. While my wife ate her dinner I had to wait for mine. This time I think they rushed making the pizza because when I went to bed I ended up having food poisoning. I was miserable. I did like their food and their friendliness but this experience made me sick, literally! read more

The restaurant got pretty crowded and loud on a Friday night, so if you're not into sitting in close quarters, or prefer not to have TVs and music plus multiple conversations going on nearby, you might need to try outside on the patio or somewhere else. Other than that, the server was friendly, patient, and attentive - explained how the different pizza crusts varied very clearly and gave us a good recommendation. They also have gluten free, so yay! Pizza came out fresh, hot and delicious. I couldn't stop eating, even though I'd ordered a simple pepperoni and mushroom! The other pizza we ordered was the works, and it was also nicely loaded with toppings. We even had enough for my bf to have lunch the next day. The restaurant is pretty small, casual, and not brightly lit. They have a wide variety of pizza choices on their menu as well as other foods (although pizza is the focus). Did an online order yesterday for Chicago style deep dish pizza for carryout. The online ordering was pretty straightforward, though it took me a few seconds to figure out that the deep dish pizzas come with 4 toppings that you can select. We did sausage, onions, green pepper and fresh garlic. When I came in at 5PM to pickup my pizza it was waiting for me in a warming oven. Nice to not have to hang around to pay for the pie. I *really* like the fresh garlic on the pizza, it really adds a lot. the other toppings were great. The crust was just OK - kinda bready. I like a Chicago-style to have more of a "fried" type of texture, but it was still a good pie! The deep dish works well for carryout because its so substantial that it doesn't get cold on the way home! read more

After some time past we decided to try Rosati's again. Maybe when we went there prior ildidn't order right - but I must say recently the food has been wonderful. We've been getting the combo pizza and it's been dynamite. Thin crust, crispy and loads of delicious toppings. The wait staff has been wonderful and accommodating. We have a one year old great standard poodle and we have to eat outside. Recently we called ahead, the put the pizza in the oven and it was ready upon arrival for outside dinning. I have a feeling this will now become a regular spot for us. And I am totally retracting my previously 3 star review! read more

The worst service I ever had and not family friendly during lunch hours. Male bartender is a bully that insisted our 4 person party ate and drank too much AFTER paying the $300+ bill, no split payments and 30% tip. Bartender refused to enter anything else to order. He is scaring away high paying repeat customers and manager says she will follow his lead regardless of discrimination or intent. After asking for the manager, said bartender asked aggressively to order more menu Items, but when I asked if he was to poisen them, he did not deny. Highly disappointed and won't be bringing my friends and family here any longer after years of patronage out of fear for my safety. read more

I've never been a fan of deep dish Chicago style pizza mostly because it never seems to be completely cooked. There's always that layer below the crust that is still raw dough. Most Chicago pizzerias in Tucson who claim to be the best or authentic never cook their pizzas all the way through but that wasn't the case here. The Caesar salad with chicken was half a bowl of wilted lettuce, a small 2 oz portion of chopped meat, stale croutons and bottled dressing. The 16" pizza was thinner than from a Pizza Hut and partly burned. Worse yet, the server was inattentive. Hope it was just a training day and they get it together. Had a delivery to a resort and delivery guy went above and beyond. Was honest and brought back change when he had to go to his car to get it - all the way across the resort!?A+!! Ordered pizza thin crust and side salad. Pizza had enough sauce for this Chicago native and was cooked enough to crisp the crust and brown the cheese! Yeah! One thing my wife and I have learned is that we can always count on consistently good food and friendly service when we go to Rosatti's in Oro Valley. I often get the 50/50 combo sandwhich, that combines an excellend Italian sausage with Chicago-style Italian beef, on a soft bun with sweet (or hot if preferred) peppers. It ciomes with a side of crinjle cut fries and totally fills me up --- and I'm 6'2" and 245 lbs (so, not easily filled up)! However, more and more we find outselves sharing a thin-crust pizza. Their sauce and cheese blend are both excellend -- and they cut the pie in squares (though they cut it more typocally on the regular crust and Chicago-style deep dish). The service is friendly, and the restauarnt is clean. Som overall, just a consistently good meal and experience. read more

Sadly a two star review due to poor customer service, as a person who works in the food industry I understand how late busy nights can be a bit fustrating and servers may be tired. However, when there is only two other customers in the restaurant I would expect to get respectful service. The Rosati's monster pizza was not so good, it was extremely soggy and I wouldn't recommend for how pricey it is but the chocolate zipoli was wonderful all around, the portion size and the price was great! My girlfriend and I went in for lunch. I'm a disabled veteran and open carry almost everywhere I go. We start looking at the menu and the guy at the counter waits a solid 5 minutes before we says "I'm sorry we don't have a sign because someone took it, but we don't allow weapons." This is the first and last time I will patronize this place, until they decide to get their heads out of their asses. Prohibiting someone from carrying a weapon only impacts those who are already abiding by the law. read more

So we have ordered delivery pizza a couple time from here and it is great! Adore a taste of the midwest out here in the desert. Very familiar with Rosaitis chain from Illinois/Wisconsin. What I like best is the great tasting italian sausage made as it should be where you can taste the fennel seed. The fresh cut mushrooms. Great quality cheese. All the things you want in a pizza and delivered right to your front door!!! Excellent quality pizza like home, and great staff and delivery. One time they delievered the wrong kind of pop so I always make sure to double check that before the leave, it happens though. read more

Great atmosphere, great service and reasonable prices. I ordered the classic combo pizza 16 inch. It was way more than my friend and I could eat. It was the double dough and not the thin crust. Very filling and pretty tasty. I think the only part I didnt like too much was the cheese going on top of the toppings instead of below them. It was still good and I basically ate myself into a food coma. I think next time I will have to try the thin crust. Point being that there will definitely be a next time because this place is for sure worth a return visit. read more
