We've been coming here for many years, and they are always good to us. When I'm back in town it's a first stop. Like most pizza places around here, you have to order one of the combination deals to not get beaten up on topping prices. Our go-to combos are either "The Monster" (for double dough crust), or "Sausage Supreme" for thin crust. They let us evenly swap out some toppings for others as needed. Sometimes the sauce is a tad off, but it is usually the right balance. It has that homemade type of taste that pairs nicely when you add fresh garlic. The crust on the double dough isn't the tastiest, it's a tad on the dry and flavorless side at times, yet there is just something about it that just goes so nicely with their sauce. They also have pretty tasty cheesy garlic bread, not a bad Italian beef, and I'm not sure if they still "officially" serve it, but I used to get the linguine which was surprisingly spicy for a pasta dish. They have a decent points system, and are usually generous with the 2 - 5 dollar off coupons. We like a few different types of pizza places, but we'll always come back here when I'm around. Had a free 12" pizza reward on the Rosati'S app but this location isn't apparently affiliated with Rosati's. Said "we have been here for over 30 years and your best bet is going to a different Rosati's". I highly don't recommend going to this location. I've tried Rosati's all across Illinois and not once have heard of such an excuse. The Addison location never lets me down and their food is top quality. The service and ambiance of this location is abysmal, I would only assume their food is as awful as their customer service. read more

Pretty good pizza. I mostly only come here for a slice of pizza and drink which tends to be during lunch when I work from home. Its not a bad price and the pizza slice is standard sizes. I think I ordered a full pizza maybe once or twice from this location and never had any issues. read more

Haven't had Rosati's pizza in years, used to order every week. I recent ordered a 14" Super Supreme pizza. The first bite told me the taste of the sauce has changed and not for the better. For me, the taste of the sauce is everything, it brings all the flavors together. I also ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and Italian sausage. Again the sauce was not good and I didn't see any meat. Price increase and the "Jumbo" slice is the smallest in the area. Quality has never been the best but was acceptable. Customer service is lacking most of the time. This is a take out/delivery location. Have been ordering food from this location for 20 years! Was really good 20 years ago, but in the last 6 months the food is horrible. Ordered a 12" cheese pizza this crust with extra some extra sauce (as I have done since my first pie was ordered there) and Italian sausage plain with a side of beef juice and large fries. It was to arrive in an hour, but delivered in 20 minutes. The pizza was SOOOOOO thin that the crust rolled up the box on all sides easily stretched to a 14" crust. The cheese was so thick that I had to spit it into a napkin for fear of choking on it. The sauce was dripping all over actually because the crust was SOOOOOO thin it couldn't support the sauce and cheese on it. Ruined my shirt and the table cloth because the sauce bounced off the edge of the plate and splattered everywhere. The crust was doughy, floppy and not cooked! Pizza went in the garbage! The Italian sausage came buried in red sauce, which slopped and ruined the roll it was in. Did get the side of beef juice, but couldn't use it, so it joined the pizza as did the soggy roll! This location claims to serve the family recipes as all of the Rosati's locations do. Let me tell you that the Rosati's location in Gilberts has absolutely fabulous pizza and pasta each and every time! No slouching in Gilberts! So disappointed that we have lost yet another restaurant location in South Elgin, there are not many good ones left! We definitely will Not be ordering from this location again! read more

Just moved here. First time I ordered they forgot my mozzarella sticks. 2nd time I try to order at 1015 they close at 11. I get it. 45 min till close. But guess what it's a Saturday night and I'm willing to pick it up. What do they do? Every time I call the phone guy picks up the phone and hangs it up. I can even hear them complaining in the background. If you weren't willing to take the order it's no big deal. But have the mental fortitude to pick up the phone and tell me That. I will never order from here again. I ordered once sometimes three times week from the location In Schaumburg when I lived there. I was in a first name basis with the delivery drivers. I tipped well, at times 20 or more for a fast delivery when late or shitty roads. We like to entertain we have friends and family over multiple times a week. They are going to get someone killed. I came in for a carry out order tonight, and they're operating like business as usual during a pandemic. 6-8 people crammed into the lobby, 4-6 employees shoulder to shoulder behind the counter. No one on the kitchen staff or counter had gloves on, let alone masks. I paid for my food, then rotated in & out waiting for over 20 minutes past the time my food was promised, only to be met with the same "2 more minutes" if I asked about my order. After an employee walked a few pizzas out to the other customer waiting outside, I asked her to cancel my order, she gave me a puzzled look, shrugged and walked back inside. Didn't want to risk going into the Petri dish lobby again to argue over $32, so I left. Enjoy the money Rosati's, because that's the last you'll ever get from me. I hope someone shuts you down and backhands whoever manages this dump. Update: just got a call from Rosati's a solid hour after my food was supposed to be ready, to let me know I had left without my food. This was my first time ordering from Rosati's. I ordered a 20 inch thin cheese and sausage at 5:30 on Saturday. I expected it to be delivered in an hour like they said. 45 minutes later in eating a really good pizza. It had a nice crispy crust and plenty of sausage. The sauce was very good as well. I ordered lasagna with meatballs, salad, cheese ravioli, pizza, cheese panzarotti and 3 kids meals 2 hours before pick-up. The hot dishes were hot and the lasagna had meatballs in it, first time Ive heard of it but ver tasty. The salad was fresh and cold. All of my guests were pleased with the quality and quantity of the food. Staff was helpful and even carried the food to my car. I highly recommend! read more

The owner of this restaurant never wants to take responsibility when there is a problem. He is very confrontational rude, arrogant, and foul mouthed. I have tried on and off to be his customer, I am always lured back by a great coupon, thinking maybe they have changed. Example, I order the same Pizza every time, but I am the one who gave the wrong order. Or a 1 inch crust and then 1 inch of sauce then ingredients, when I requested the cheese to the edge. I have eaten Rosati's all my life. I worked for them, my Dad did too, I know the Grand kids of one of the founders. I have NEVER been treated like this in any restaurant. This is one to avoid. I had a horrible experience with this place. I ordered a salad for delivery and when it came it w s soggy old lettuce that must have been sitting. I called to complain and I was advised the lettuce was cut fresh. If so then it should have been hand picked at this establishment. Obviously they did not care to pick out the dead old lettuce. Dropped a wallet in here and the two young male workers acted nervous and suspicious, said they couldn't review the tapes, snapped at us and acted like we accused them of stealing it when we just asked if they've seen it... when the manager gets back from "vacation" I will be asking him to review the tapes for me. From having the worst delivery service, (delivery was always cold and past time advised) To resorting to have to just order for pickup to get the "Rosatis" experience ...placed order at 5:55pm, was advised at first 20-25 mins for pickup then advised 40 mins, when asked back"40 mins?" They said yes we are really busy.. ok fine I thought...went in and paid for my order at the 25-30 min mark (6:26) just in case was done early, saw pizzas in warming unit and other waiting for their orders... multiple people came and went picking up their orders as well as incoming ng Cal's for new orders with times give of 25 mins, which I thought was as odd, but I waited patiently.. I also made sure to note of the food that was existing and incoming and outgouting in the warming station. Including 2 pizzas that were continuoulsly checked from the time I paid until the time I left at their tickets......As I waited a painful 40 mins, in the freezing cold as the place is small with the frigid cold coming in with multiple people coming into pick up their orders I started making notes on who and how many times those pizzas and other food orders were pulled - let's just away not very cautiously and who was pulling the items..they pulled reviewed the tickets, without anyone of them announcing the name on the ticket or asking anyone if those belonged to them..after being there over 30 mins I said where is my order I placed over an hour ago and I have been waiting well over a half hour... They all looked at each other in and then decided to ask for the name... That's when they pulled the two pizzas out and said.. oh her you go.. seriously like it was nothing! I said absolutely NOT those pizzas. Those have been sitting there since before I came in over 30 mins ago... The girl looked mortified and then looked at the ticket (which showed time stamps) and said oh well we have new people here so that's probably why.. i said oh no,YOU looked at those for sure 4 times minimum that I counted and so did the other girl (a blond) who was also not new since she was helping the new girl).. I said give me my money back now this is unbelievable.. she simply said well we did not hear your name then ..... I said so you didn't hear my name and no one thought to say out the name on the food that was sitting there or ask me as I had been there the longest, my name?... This is exactly the continued stuff on the delivery orders that we tried to talk to the manager on and he had no problems with his staff, why I would very rarely (once a year apox) put in a pick up order to avoid the nonsense.. and then in person had this? By the way the manager/ owner was right there. And said NOTHING! I had them cater my daughters birthday party yesterday. Party started at 4:30. We asked for the food to be ready at 4:45 only for it not to be ready until 5:15 because someone didn't cook the mostaccioli noodles. We live 15 minutes away so the food was not here until an hour after the party stated. Only to get the food home and the noodles were hard not completely cooked. Ordered 2 different pasta dishes from them for the first time went to pick up order was told they lost order and dishes had not been made. I was told 15 minutes it would be ready, 35 minutes later i had my food and was offered no apology or way of making up for the screw up. The previous reviewer was correct rude manager/owner. Will never come back again especially with another rosatis so close. Stay away!!!! read more
