Hopefully one day it will reopen They have an area set aside for Italian products and section to purchase various meals either freshly made for today or frozen for tomorrow. It in a strip mall, plenty of safe parking and service staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They also have homemade Italian favorites and holiday specialties. My go to for pizza delivery. You can't beat the stadium size when you're feeding a party or have a bunch of hungry teenagers. Every once in a while, the delivery ends up with a pizza folded over... but the pizza still tastes the same and I tell the kids it's now more like a calzone. Add toppings and you get a good amount, although like with any pizza place, the price gets high quickly with those toppings - especially with that stadium size pizza. read more

Great service here! Chef Vincenzo gave us recommendations and even a sample of their focaccia. We decided since we didn't have much time to just get a slice of pizza and then we had to buy the focaccia! We went for the giardenera And can't wait to heat it up and eat it later tonight. They have seating but appears that dine in service is not available at this time. There was a small table where we could eat our slices though. It's a lovely place with a great Italian market. Best pizza in Bartlett!! The country style rigatoni is incredible for parties we host too. Can recommend enough.

The people were very kind here however I don't appreciate when I order something that if it's known to be spicy by the employees that they don't write that in the menu especially when other things had been noted as being spicy. I know a spice level is different for everybody I Am lower on the spectrum of allowing spice in my food however my husband likes vice and the CLAMS baked clams we ordered six of them they had a great taste to them but they were very spicy and not only are they very spicy but they put clothes of garlic seems to be something that they do a lot of. We also ordered the POTATO VESUVIO style I liked that they had peas in it I don't see that often I also like they had fresh Rosemary in it however also very big chunks of garlic cloves I spoke to one of their managers there unfortunately he didn't say his name when I called and he said that yeah we figured we can put clothes all day long and you could take them off if you don't like them so that's fine but when it gets to be excessively a lot of GARLIC no one likes that not even a garlic person. Pizza Pizza PIZZA --I worked at a pizza place my husband worked at a pizza place actually both of us worked at two different pizza places very common pizza places in Chicago area and neither of us enjoyed their Pizza one thing about it was their sauce their sauce is very SWEET when I say very sweet I mean almost to the point where it was an accident it definitely didn't seem like that's how it should be but when I looked over other reviews I saw yeah they always have it SWEET. The cheese was lacking the crust was mah. So if you're going for pizza I wouldn't if you're going for clams they're tasty but watch out their spicy and garlicky and then if you want vesuvio potatoes again tasty but GARLIC.... One last thing when I called in and this could just be the one person but I'd be aware of it I ordered a salad they have two kinds only salad dressing Caesar and balsamic vinegar. I wanted to try both because I wasn't sure which one I would like and had no salad dressing in the house at this time so I figured why not try both I got charged for extra so not only did I get an extra of the one but I got an extra of the other and I got charged for both which at least one of them should have been free little thing but just be aware. read more

Best pizza around and has been a household favorite for several years. Unfortunately the front counter girls could care less about serving the customer and have shown to be incompetent in their duty to do so. Waiting 30 minutes at the counter for your pizza that has been in the hotbox all along is inexcusable. Happened a few times, and every time they were clueless on how to remedy the situation. Nothing says entitled children When called on their failings they look at you with a shrug on their shoulders and a blank look on their face. We had been disappointed too many times and finally had to make the painful choice to go elsewhere. We won't go back. read more

We've been going here since they first opened in Carol stream and still continue to go weekly to their new location. They have catered for our wedding and many other parties and events. The food is insanely delicious and the menu is always being updated. When you walk inside you can feel true customer service and hospitality. Can't do much better then Pietanzas. My family has ordered from Pietanza's for delivery before, however on this occasion I ordered take out. I was really surprised to see the variety of home made Italian delights: cookies, cannoli, Italian beef, you name it, they probably have it. The service was great! I was greeted by a friendly hostess who made me feel right at home. I ordered a half pepperoni half sausage thin crust pizza and arancini both cheese and meat. This is a nice pizza place near a major high school in the area. I usually order the stadium pizza and it is perfect for a large group. I used to go here with my tennis team and really enjoyed the cheese pizza here. The only issue I have had in the past is that sometimes the pizza is a bit greasy and the pizza for one of the most recent orders was kind of dry. Wish there were 100 stars to give ! We found this place while in town for my wife's Nurse Practitioner Training and we are sure glad we did. Lasagna was HUGE and enough for two and the pizza was the bomb! Great staff and very clean restaurant. I've been in the suburbs more often than I care to admit lately because of work and visiting my family more often. I'm going to straight up say it. The ratings at some of these establishments in the suburbs are over inflated. I was visiting family in Bartlett and there was a mom and pop Italian joint on Yelp that has 4.5 star reviews (over 100 reviews) Pietanza's Italian Eatery. Love italian food and was craving alfredo (yes i know not real Italian food but love it anyways) and wanted to give it a try. Ordered online, got the Penne Alfredo Con Pollo, and the Chicken Parmigiana. If you do order online and you order more than $20 worth of food you get a free cheese pizza so no brainer added that to order as well. Let's break it down. Penne Alfredo Con Pollo. They say they use their own sauce. It was definitely different and quite honestly not very good. I hate being upfront and brutally honest but the Alfredo was the worst I had. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it but it just was not good. Chicken Parmigiana. The pasta and sauce on the dish was pretty good/decent. However the breading on the chicken felt like I was eating chicken from an elementary school cafeteria. Absolutely mailed it in. Chicken was flattened out, it was thick, not breaded well at all and whatever they breaded it with, absolutely mailed it in. Very disappointed in the chicken. And the cheese pizza? Frozen pizza is better. I had to wait a while for the food, the hostess/cashier was not friendly. Never smiled. I really do not understand the reviews of this place. I hate having to give mom and pop shop honest reviews that are not good from my experience but I do not understand at all the hype of this place. 4.5 stars? Let me know if you think I'm wrong or ordered the wrong dish but I'm more than willing to try it again if I got dishes this establishment is not known for. read more
