I have to say though, 2 large pizzas, a side salad and a pasta was over $80 and we picked up, so there wasn't even a delivery fee. I remember when we were teens, we'd all pitch in and $20 would get an extra large, a free small, and mozz sticks. My how times have changed! Verify prices before ordering or your experience may be affected. On printed and online menu, it is clearly states that fries come with sandwiches. I ordered a Chicken Parmigiano sandwich yesterday and verified they come with fries, when ordering over the phone. When I went to pick up, an employee stated that sandwiches DO NOT come with fries. He honored my request for the complimentary fries begrudgingly when I protested. When my fries were up, I showed him the menu. He said there's an upcharge for fries. When I pointed out that the menu specifically states sandwiches come with fries at the top, he said it was a "suggestion". He tried directing me to a different area to see prices for fries, which is absurd. False advertising much? This experience ruined my meal. Plus, the sandwich was not made like the website photo and was horrible. Instead of being on a French roll with melted cheese all over it with sauce, the chicken patty was put on a hamburger bun with a touch of sauce and cheese. It was a joke of a chicken parm sandwich. This experience soured me on this place. I'll never deal with their bait-and-switch methods again. I'll go two blocks up to Genoas and get an honest meal. read more

The sauce on it is absolutely delicious! Tastes a lot like my own homemade Italian sauce. Their on-line ordering system and rewards programs work great, too. Overpriced salt lick! We have been receiving coupons in the mail for some time and decided to give them a try. The flyer we got had no menu on it, and there were no prices listed on the website! Since we knew what we wanted, we just phoned in the order, thinking that they would be competitively priced...not so much, even with a $4 coupon! A 16" pizza with 2 toppings = $21.49 before tax ($24 something after)!!! But thank goodness that $4 coupon brought it down to $19.21!!! Right?! So about the pizza...it was still hot by the time we got home. Presentation was good, cheese was to the edge as it should be, and it looked quite appetizing. However, the sauce was bland, not enough of it, and it lacked flavor in general. The crust was nice and thin, and well cooked, but also lacked flavor...reminded me of unleavened or Matzo bread, dry. The sausage lacked flavor. On the plus side, their cheese was good and plenty of it. Overall, the pizza was very VERY salty, lacked flavor, and overpriced. Ordered twice this week while staying in town w family here in Sugar Grove. I'm from NW side Chicago but moved to LA couple years back. Let me make it clear that LA has no food like Chicago style food, or at least any attempt at pizza is a sick joke and I'm not as forgiving as those ditzy West coasters. I digress.....I really developed a taste for Rosati's thin crust as it is close enough to tavern style w o me driving downtown to get it. Ordering online could be a bit more simplistic, but it worked out. Second time I just called in. Very pleasant employee and helped me pick best coupon for my order. I appreciated that. Pizza arrived on time as expected and was exactly as I remember it tasted from my absence here in town. Rosati's thin crust is pretty damn good and I've eaten alot of pizza in my time on earth(chicago) Now, I don't know what all other pizza places may be in the area, but Rosati's is definitely several slices above generic Pizza Hut, Dominos, or any other chain. Each big name pizza place has something they are known for here, I would say thin crust would be theirs at this point. I can tell the ingredients are fresh and truth be told, I'd be happy as pig in mud to eat it every day while I'm in town. My low rating is for the owner's lack of customer service. I am a regular customer and will continue to be. 2 weeks ago I placed our usual order for some cheesy garlic bread and a 14 inch pizza with pepperoni on the whole thing with half mushrooms. The pizza was made half pepperoni and half mushroom. It happens. I called and was given a choice. I could get a new pizza or a credit for the next order. I thought a free pizza for the next time would be fine. When I ordered the pizza the following week, the "credit" was only $5.00. If I had gotten a new pizza that night, it would be $16.99. I call that cheap and poor service. I was angry. That was not an equitable arrangement for the mistake. I hope this message tells you to take the replacement. I plan to. I love Rosati's pizza and have ordered from the Warrenville location for decades. The pizza at the Sugar Grove location tastes EXACTLY the same as I have had in the past. I got a thin crust Fantastic Four: sausage, green pepper, onion, and mushroom. It had a super crispy crust, good sauce, quality sausage, generous amount of veggies, cut in squares and the cheese is topped with herb seasoning - as Rosati's pizza always comes. We have ordered from this place multiple times and 6/10 times the pizza and wings are good. The other 4/10 expect overcooked or undercooked crust, incorrect toppings, too much/too little pizza sauce. The only pizza even worth considering ordering is the BBQ Chicken and Pineapple Pizza, which is good in a pinch, otherwise we would rather go to the Rosati's in Yorkville next to Menards. I'm a frequent customer of Rosati's and this is by far my favorite location. The owner and staff are very welcoming every visit with a smile and a friendly "How are you, what can i get you". Always in a pinch for time after a long day of work looking for a quick bite to eat this location never fails with a nice big hot fresh slice of pizza off the rotary (not like most locations/pizza joints where the pizza is dried up and dark that looks like it's been sitting on it half the day) and a can of pop for under $5 to boot.
