Wow. I have not been here in a few years. I had a hankering for wings so thought I'd stop. The chicken itself was good, but I did not get the sauces I ordered. My friend had the chicken Sandwich and kettle chips. The chips were inedible- like cardboard. The server was slow to get back and then offered to take the wings back and get the correct sauces. I was afraid they would rinse them and serve them! I also felt it was weird to payfor sauces and rubs all carte. The entire restaurant could use a coat of paint and some repairs. The restroom was especially bad. There were dirty dishes and cleaning bottles on the bar as you enter. Not inviting at all. They are automatically adding a 3.5% service charge even before you choose cash or charge. Not a stop in will ever be making again.

We've been here a few times since Covid and this location is less busy compared to Naperville. The service we had is always pretty good and attentive. The wings taste the same as the ones in Naperville too. My favorite is the sweet chili garlic. I tried the Caribbean jerk and it was okay, not my fave. We do like the waffle fries though. We took some of our fam and they were a little confused with the menu and how to order, and to be honest, it is very overwhelming at first. They just have a lot of choice. We do like the wings here a lot though. Thursdays are half off wings, but then the sauces kind of add up to be the same haha

Went into Crosstown Pub for a quick drink while waiting for a friend. There is plenty of parking, and we walked right in to sit at the bar. We were offered a drink and food menu. Informed we were just going to grab a drink, and the bartender took the order right away. The Not yo mama punch was pretty good. They also had live music going, which helped create a fun little entertainment.

    A$$ KICKED breaded wing remnants.

WOWWWWWWWW. Just ordered the A$$ kicked breaded wings for delivery and they did NOT disappoint. I love crosstown's sucker punch sauce but it's a pinch too easy. I saw the A$$ kicked, which is habanero and devil sweat hot sauce so I thought it would be a step up. It was EASILY three steps up but tasty as all heck! My mouth and lips are still burning as I type this but in a reeeeaaaalllly good way if you like spicy stuff. Many many many years ago, as a young lad, my friends and I would challenge each other to hot contests at wing places like hooters and b dubs. If anyone ordered the hottest stuff, part of the challenge was to not drink ANYTHING until you were done with everything. If anyone knows, back in the day three mile island and blazing we're the hottest wings to beat at the aforementioned places. Regularly, we'd all be able to demolish the three mile island wings off because they were so tasty, but blazing was stupid hot for the sake of being hot; the flavor was certainly lacking. Fast forward to today when I ate these monsters. The initial flavor on the A$$ kicked was amazing: sweet and savory, maybe a little smoke; the flavor profile was so complex that I wanted more. I knew after the second one, though, that it was going to be an epic battle. Being hungry, I threw down the next three, enjoying that flavor profile, even being delivered, the wings were crunchy and well breaded. After that fourth wing, things started getting a little hairy. My mouth needed a break, but because I couldn't break certain covenants, I dunked into the blue cheese sauce. It's said that capsaicin can be calmed by dairy; what a lie. Over the next five wings, I was on the verge of hiccups but I was not about to let them them beat me. I had to finish these tasty wings! The last one, (a flap), looked up at me, laughing, knowing that it was going to beat me tonight, or even worse, tomorrow morning. I poured that last remnant of blue cheese on it and stuck it down, wondering why I would do anything so stupid. After I wiped the tears from my eyes and looked down at that styrofoam, I hearkened back to a much simpler time, before kids, before responsibilities. Crosstown has done it again, and if you like spicy, these wings are well worth it. If not for the amazing quality and flavor, but for the days of yore; the days before jobs, bills and taxes, and expectations. Check this place out. (My English literature major of a brother would kill me for my sentence fragments and semicolons but I can't see straight from the heat lol) Do yourselves a favor and at least try this place out.

3.5% service fee nonsense, so the best possible review is 1 star, but otherwise would be a 3 for consistently meh service.

This place has the best garlic parmesan and buffalo garlic wings out there. Huge wings, well cooked and sauced to perfection!

There are two sections to the Frontier Pub; the restaurant part and the smaller cozy pub. When eight of us arrived around 5:30 PM on a Friday evening, the pub was about 3/4 full. This has to be the most comfortable pub in the Western burbs. With sofas and easy chairs throughout, you can really kick back and relax. There is a small bar where the friendly bartender was chatting with her customers. The real attraction on this 7 degree evening was the warm fireplace that was already staked out by 10-12 Fermilab researchers and their families enjoying Two Brothers brews. Since we had a relatively large group we walked over to the restaurant section which is brightly lit with a couple of TV's on the wall. They have several beautiful Bison photos and a huge taxidermied Bison head hanging on the walls. It's a comfortable room but not fancy. The limited menu is standard pub food but its all prepared quite well. Our group ordered turkey burgers, hamburgers, black bean burger, grilled chicken and the special of the day; spinach calzone. I had the grilled chicken which came with fries ($6.50) and it was perfect. The people that ordered the spinach calzone said that they really enjoyed it. We shared pitchers of Two Brothers Bison Head Ale ($15 pitcher) which is a delicious brown ale brewed just for The Frontier Pub. It's a basic menu but the food is prepared with care. I also need to mention that our server was just delightful. (I wish I would have gotten her name.). Even the bartender came over from the pub to chat us up. The good food, unique setting, great service and friendly crowd all add up to 5-stars for me. Fermilab is a great break from your hectic grind. Come out and see the bison herd or even go birdwatching. At the end of your day of exploring, The Frontier Pub is a great place to quench your thirst and fill your belly. Who knows, you might even strike up a conversation with an atomic physicist!
