I am newer to Woodstock, however very familiar to my families favorite pizza. Order from Woodstock Rosati's every since covid and had to start getting it delivered. I called to order it yesterday for my family and was informed they can no longer deliver to me since dine is open. Then asked the manager if he could at least deliver one more time due to our whole dinner revolved around this. They said no. I dont believe Ive ever written a review online but how sad is it that when I support a local business in Town during covid im a great customer when they need my money but now that dine in is open and everything back to normal im nobody. Good deep dish (I especially the Italian beef topping option), big tasty spicy garlic wings and yummy ranch, and really good alfredo. I will never go back I order a calzone and it wasn't cooked all the way and it was very greasy. I enjoy this resturant because their pizza is very good. They use a chunky kind of sauce on their pizza and their bread sticks are AWESOME. Decent service, most of the time they have the counter person for lunch trying to do everything so its a lil slow. Plan on being here for like an hour for lunch time. Slow. Ordered from here tonight I had wings and the cheef gf ordered grilled chicken salad wings had way to much sauce tasted nothing but vinagar in the sauce also ordered roasted garlic wings tasted exactly the same as mild wings no difference between the two. Ordered pizzas for delivery at 5 or 5:15 pm since our company was coming at 5 pm. Was I surprised when our pizzas were delivered at 4:40. I called and spoke with the girl that took my order and she daid she told me it would be there in an hour (which would have been 5:15 pm), so she asked me what I wanted to do. I told her I'd like to speak to the manager. When the manager got on the phone, he said the girl said I never asked for it to be delivered at 5 or 5:15. This Rosati's is the 'Chevy Malibu' of pizza places. Consistently mediocre. Their pizza and calzone's are not fantastic, but good enough that on those nights I don't feel like driving to Crystal Lake (Georgio's) or Lakewood (Lou Malnati's), then I will settle for Rosati's right around the corner. Staff is generally apathetic everytime I go in there. They aren't rude, but they seem like the most miserable people in the world when you go in to pick up your food. It's actually somewhat comical. Overall, I would give it a soft recommendation. You likely won't regret going there, but there are better places if you are willing to drive 8-10 miles out of your way. read more

CONSIDER THIS A RATING OF 4.5. I just ordered from them again today. I don't know why it is, but this Rosati's tastes better than the ones in Huntley and Crystal Lake. They quoted a 45 minute wait time for delivery, and we had our order in just under 40 minutes. I'm very (VERY) happy with them. Rosati's has done a major festival for us fr three years. They have always been on time and professional. The food they are serving is homemade,not just frozen product being re-heated. I also order frequently to my house. I really like the SOB pizza. The best deal they have is the slice to go. You can stop in during the day and get a slice to go and a soda for only a few dollars. The kitchen is open also, meaning you can look back and see them preparing the food and how clean it is in back. If you are having an event, looking for pizza to be delivered or just a quick slice check them out. read more

Been ordering from here for years. The pizza is good and has always been consistent. Ordered pasta many times and good as well. Meatballs are a little inconsistent sometimes they are tender other times they are tough. Service has always been good. Gave 4 stars because of price. Our favorite place to get pizza here in town. Just enough sauce, they don't overdo it with cheese like most pizza places, the crust is thin crispy and flavorful. Even the pepperoni tastes better than most places. Side salads are always fresh and the perfect size. Delivery is quick. To us, it's so worth it to get Rosati's pizza even if we are paying a few extra dollars than other establishments in town. read more

If you haven't been by Woodstock Rosati's lately you're in for a surprise. They opened up to the space next door and created a fun restaurant with a loft/ brewery vibe. Focus on craft beers and Italian (of course); note that everything is made on site. We've tried some of the Parmesan dishes, chicken Marsala and meatballs without disappointment and the soup is a standout! Friendly staff, lots of big screens, moderate pricing. 1) It takes FOREVER to get a cup of soup as your appetizer. And I have no idea why...the restaurant isn't busy. And you can't tell me the take-out/delivery is ordering THAT MUCH soup. No, I think it's b/c it's refrigerated & the waitress has to heat it up in the micro. 2) I ordered spaghetti & meatballs w/marinara sauce...sauce was so watery it left a pool of clear water at the bottom of my bowl. The pasta itself was VERY bad...tasted like it was rolled in dry flour before they brought it out. The meatballs were dry, tasteless hockey pucks. HORRIBLE. I ended up filling up on bread & olive oil. 3) My boyfriend had the Italian Beef (I think they call it "The Cheef"), and it was dry & tasteless...even with the juice. And Rosati's serves the french fries with that garbage coating on them...yuck. I realize this is Roasti's pizza, not a mom & pop Italian bistro, but come on...this was just plain BAAAAD food. We have been eating rosatis for a while but we are saying goodbye now. The pizzas are ok but they are overpriced now, more than $21 for a large, one ingredient. Only reason we consumed rosatis was to take advantage of the jewel coupons where we were paying $15 for a large. Now that they opened the eat-in restaurant they think they can compare to the UNO or Gino's East, i mean pizzas are not that bad but nothing especial, just another chain. Not ok that a customer spends over 60 + dollars on two pizzas and wings for work and I am told i will be credited for waiting over an hour and a half when told twenty minutes and then they argue with you that your wrong when you order your credited pizza. I really enjoy the food at Rosati's, but I ordered something online for delivery and was given the wrong thing. When I called I was told that the order was printed incorrectly on their end. I said I'm sorry but that isn't my fault can you please send the correct order. I got a "yeah but it will be about 30 minutes." I said ok we will eat our salads and maybe you can throw in a discount for the mess up. She said "yeah". It took over 30 minutes to get the corrected order and no discount or coupon. I called back to ask if we would be receiving something for the error. I was told by the owner "it's not my fault either, I turned off online ordering until it's corrected." I just tried the pizza from this location for the first time since moving to Woodstock. They mailed me a gift certificate for a free pizza and I decided to use it before it expires. When I called in the order, the timing for it to be ready was about 25 minutes, which at first I thought seemed rather long but then again, they must've been busy that day. Anyway, after picking up the pizza, they confirmed the order and the gift certificate was valid. Only one slight thing I noticed that seemed off during the pickup. My phone number and last name was confirmed but apparently my dad's first name appeared with my number. I don't know why. And so, my dad and shared the two topping thin crust pizza and my goodness, of all pizza joints my family and have eaten at, Rosati's has always been the top pizza joint. The way they seasoned the cheese makes it more unique. Next time, my dad and I will dine to see how the atmosphere is since it looks like a good place to go watch sports on TV. I gotta admit, prices are decently high, but I'm sure they're worth it cause I've never had any bad experience with Rosati's. read more

Wow! Never have I had restaurant management be so rude! We came in as a softball team after a game to get a bite, around thirty of us all together. We were told that there was a room in the back for large groups, which we were fine with. We were also told that we could not get separate checks, and we were fine with that too. Problems started when we got to the back room. Unfortunately there was no where near enough seating there. Two large tables and a raised bar that would only seat five came well short of our needs. We had girls sitting on the floor. At this point we attempted to relocate in the main area, where there were five total patrons, four of whom were seated at the bar. We were headed off by what I can only assume was manager who told us that we could not all seat in the main area. We were told that we could leave some of our group in the back room and seat the rest somewhere else, but did not want to split our group up. We asked why if there was basically unlimited seating in that area we could not all move and were told that "we couldn't have the whole restaurant." At that point we decided to leave and this person stormed off into the kitchen. Needless to say no one from our group will be back. This gets one star because zero isn't an option. read more

I have been a loyal customer of Rosati's, first I lived in Crystal Lake for 5 years and order 54 pizza's from the Rosati's on Terra Cotta and Walk Up, no issues ever, and great customer service there. I moved to Woodstock and for the last 4 years I order from the Woodstock location off of RT. 47 (Eastwood) and have been loyal to that location, however, in the last three months something must have changed. The first gaff came when I ordered wings and requested twice that I would like Blue Cheese with the wings - they seemed miffed that I asked twice, they delivered ranch, now, for those who say it's minor, not so, as I have paid for a product and requested one thing and they did not hold up to their part - it took 3 phone calls for them to care enough to send out the blue cheese - the teenager who answers the phone could care less. Then today I ordered a Chicago Style Deep Dish for $23.00+ and as always give a good tip ($8.00) I always tip good since I used to deliver pizza during college. I get the Deep Dish and noted right away that it is not crisp and brown around the edges, then as I bite into the first (and last) piece it's doughy - really gooey - its not cooked through. Its all dough and the bottom was white and soft - the pizza was not cooked. It is supposed to take at least 40 minutes to cook a large deep dish and I intended to wait for a great product. Not so, I called and the teenager voice on the other end - could care less - and just stated "I'm sorry" but no offer to make it right, they have never offered. I told them I would have to throw it away. She really came across as not caring at all. So, I am done with Woodstock Rosati's and shall bad mouth it for many years to come. I ordered delivery from here rather frequently over the past few months, this place had good food, what ruined it for me was their delivery driver. No matter how much I tipped him, or how nice I was, he either didn't like me or didn't like his job in general. Maybe I ordered from there too much? I decided not to include the tip on the purchase until it was delivered one day because I was tired of his sarcastic rude comments. He really didn't like that, and he let me know by putting foreign material in my pizza. I only ate 2 slices before I noticed a bunch of paper or plastic material that I had to pick out of my teeth, in addition to the strange taste, and although the pizza was delivered promptly, it was ice cold with the side of it smashed in. So I can't help but think, what else did they do to it? Am I going to get sick now? I'm a nice man, and I always tip well, why would he do this to me? Do I just order too much? Or have I been judged? Like he, a full time pizza delivery man, from his looks and attitude isn't good enough for anything better, has a right to judge anyone, ever. I liked their pizzas, but apparently, just for being a frequent customer, I am disliked to the point where he would do this to my food. Real winner employees you keep there, Woodstock Rosati's. I was in Rosati's this evening and I had a couple beer and ordered food to go. I decided to stay a while and drink and gamble. After 4 beers the lady cut me off, which is fair enough. But I sat to sober up a couple hours and left my dog in the car. I'd say it was around 60 degrees. It was either in the car or at home. Neither one are being heated currently because its not that cold. Anyway I told the bartender he was out there and after a couple hours of sobering up a police officer came up to me to let me know "someone" called the police on me. But he determined the dog was not in danger. NO kidding. My dog eats better then some people. The whole time I was there the bartender was giving me dirty looks and I could tell she just doesn't like women. That's probably why it's always dead in there. The food is decent as always. But I spent a good 50 dollars in there and tipped her well and I got treated like a freaking criminal the whole time. I am a 35 year old female who is responsible and don't appreciate being treated like a 21 year old criminal. Learn better customer service skills or get a new job. I have spent a couple hundred dollars between going there and ordering delivery in the last couple months and I will not spend 1 more dollar in a place that treats me like that. I was a server for 4 years and a bartender for 3 and I would never treat someone like that. She treats men like kings though so as long as you aren't a woman she will be good to you! read more

The food is terrible and cannot compare to other Rosati's. Their chicken caeser salad had very fatty pieces of chicken and their pizza had barely any sauce. I would not recommend this place to anyone and would tell them to go to another Rosati's. read more
