This park is large and I fear eventually will be gone. I miss our Mayor and believe she had a part in this. Goodyear is changing and I hope this stays with the city for years to come. Lots of dogs after 6 pm or early morning

This park is very lovely and has a wide space. I usually take my dog here after her vet visits or when I'm close in the area. Lots of room to play, the grass is green and cool other dogs that stop by. As is it starting to get more hot in Arizona it is best to take your dog here before 11am or closer to sunset if you want them to play with other pups. I also like that there are tennis balls all over for the animals to play with (no need to bring any).

Ok, Friday night (9/22/2023) I brought my dog Cena here for his very first time here. Nice park and YES, I would gladly bring my dog back here anytime. Unfortunately though a man and his kid along with their large poodle were there. The large poodle came up to my dog, A blue healer/australian cattle mix, And wanted to play with my dog like dogs normally do at a dog park. The large poodle's owner stuck his hand out to my dog and my dog did start barking at the guy. And that's only 'cause my dog is skittish and nervous around strangers until he gets to know them. I ran up to my dog and got him away from the guy and explained my dog's "skittish and nervous" situation to him. The guy then said to me "I'll Kill That Dog If He Comes After Me Or My Kid." OK, So I understand the guy is protecting his kid and I respect him for that and NO, My Dog won't attack kids because he's being raised up around kids in my family,...But you do reach your hand out to another person's dog and make them bark and then threaten the owner that "You're Gonna Kill Their Dog" after you're the reason why they barked at you in the first place.

I was in Arizona for a week visiting some friends and needed a good park for my husky puppy! This is such a great dog park!! There's so much room for them to run and usually lots of other dogs! If you want your dog to play with other dogs come around 8-9am that's when the most dogs are here. Made the mistake of coming around 11 today and no one was here so get here in the mornings for the most fun. The grass is dried out but the dogs couldn't care less there's room for them to run! They don't need fresh grass. There's also a few trees for some shade. My pup and I love this dog park when ever we are in town we are coming here for sure.

Just awful! Not my first visit, weakened hoping things had improved in a year. Nope. Stickers and dried grass. Honestly don't know how I'm going to deal with the stickers in my Puli's cords.

It's an excellent dog park to take your pet too. I have not been there in a couple of years, but did enjoy my stay whenever I was there.

Two shaded areas, plush grass, clean park, trees. It's a good park in my book.

Looking for a fun, scenic adventure that almost anyone can enjoy? Head to White Tank Mountain…read moreRegional Park and take on the Waterfall Trail! The trail is mostly paved, easy to follow, and packed with beautiful desert scenery. Once you reach the end, the real adventure begins. Climb the stone steps, scramble carefully over the boulders, and explore the waterfall area. During certain times of the year, you may even find water collected in the pool below. Be sure to look up! There are two additional natural pools tucked into the rocks above your head, with plants growing along the cliffs and birds making themselves right at home. Keep watch for the local hawk that loves to perch dramatically on top of a nearby saguaro cactus. The true treasures of this trail are the ancient petroglyphs created by the Hohokam people. Many can be seen inside the protected, marked areas, but sharp-eyed explorers may spot even more etched into the surrounding rocks. They are incredible reminders of the people who lived in this desert long before us. I take nearly every visitor we have on this hike, no matter the season. It is one of my favorite places to show off the beauty, history, and adventure of Arizona! There are bathrooms and picnic tables near the trailhead, so pack some water, bring a picnic, and make a day of it!
