My Harley died on the road about 5 miles from Roscoe's. I called them for help and they gave me the number to get a tow. The truck arrives in less than 20 minutes with a crew that knew what they were doing and a truck designed to haul motorcycles and 15 minutes later, I'm being unloaded at Roscoe's. I'm in a bind, I need to catch a flight out of the country in 2days and still have over 800 miles to travel. They jump on it and tell me I need a new stator and possibly voltage regulator. The mechanic says he'll try to get me on the road a little after noon the following day if he can get the parts. I'm cautiously hopeful. They help me find a motel room nearby and Ross drops me off there. At 12:30 the next day I was on the road and made my flight. This is as good as it gets. Great staff and a great mechanic. read more

We came in on Harleys from N.Y and had a push rods issues. We found Roscos online and they took us right in. They were amazing and fixed the problem .we rode for a few days in the area and the other bike broke a clutch cable . Roscos got us in right away. They are the best motorcycle repair shop and know their stuff. They are not over priced and honest. You don't find that very often. Awesome business and awesome people. read more

I rode through Rapid City last August (2013) while on a cross-country ride backroads ride from New York City to San Francisco. I was on a Royal Enfield (a tricky bike to do any ride on, much less a ride of this scale), and over the course of my ride I encountered a number of mechanics who would simply laugh and turn me away when I told them what I was riding. The gentleman at Rosco's, however, was phenomenally generous and patient and helpful. I needed an oil change (and since I was traveling I didn't have a pan or a convenient place to do the work myself), and he took me in without an appointment. He acknowledged that he hadn't worked on an Enfield before (and who in the U.S. has, after all?), but was very methodical and deliberate about making sure that he gathered the basics about the engine (wet clutch, etc.) to make sure that he had the oil variety correct. I had the impression that if he couldn't be certain he could do excellent work on a bike, then he wouldn't do any work on it at all. He also seemed to understand that I had no clue what I was doing with myself or with my bike, and was attentive at walking me through things. He also identified an exhaust leak that I hadn't even noticed and advised me to get it fixed at some point. He was right. I couldn't recommend Rosco's any more enthusiastically. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll know exactly where to go. read more

I called and setup an appointment with this business a little over a week ago. I dropped off my four wheeler the day before and they haven't even touched it a week later. If you have something that you actually want fixed in a timely manner, would 100% go elsewhere. Don't waste your time. read more

I was in Sturgis for the 75th rally when I spun the transmission drive pulley. I was able to buy the parts needed to fix it from Baker transmissions and because I was staying with a resident in Rapid City I had 99% of the tools needed for the job. The only problem was I needed a very specialized socket (pretty much the type that had to be custom built) 1 7/8 that was about 7 inch deep. Without that I was dead in the water. Randy who I was staying with recommended I ask down at Rosco's. I literally show up at closing time Thursday night and explain my situation. I fully expected to be turned away but I was willing to pay whatever it took to rent the tool. He handed it over and simply said "have it back to me in the morning". Seriously? This guy saved my vacation and didn't even sweat it. No deposit, didn't ask for my info. That is what I call service. At the end of the day we (the biker community) need to help each other out. I brought it back with a nice "tip" stuffed inside and now here I am to let everyone know that this place is legitimate. The sort of shop you can trust implicitly. Thanks again guys! Matt read more
