We went in to get a piercing for my daughter after she watched all her cousins get piercings in the day before at different shop in Sacramento. My daughter did end up getting too scared to go through with it all the way because she wants earrings without the piercing aspect. Even tho we didn't go through with it they were really kind to us. Told us to come back anytime and let us all come in with 5 kids and 1 adult. And let the kids play pool and hangout in the waiting area. I guess I won't mention the name of the shop in Sacramento that was kind of rude but we had to take turns waiting outside just because One child wasnt getting a piercing, so the fact that they allowed four extra kids and also explained the process and after care beforehand to my daughter, where as a different shop from the day before did not do so. This shop is quality. Great tattoos done by all the artists there. Very clean and has a good vibe. I've been going to one of their artists, Chops, for years. I've followed him around to around 4-5 different shops and I have to say that Rose Gold is definitely the nicest. I think that's why he's stayed put there. Located in Historic Folsom. They have a parking lot right outside the shop, so as long as you go during a time that's not SUPER busy, parking is a breeze. Chops takes care in his art and makes sure you are getting exactly what you want. He's a very skilled artist that can draw your tattoo on the spot. I have a pretty intricate sugar skull that he did years ago and it only took him about 45 minutes to freehand it before making a stencil. I have been going to Tanya for 9 years now, driving from the bay to be tattooed by her for the last 5 years. After multiple texts like that, she was an hour late. Walked up said "who's first", never apologizing. She told me that my tattoo would need to be touched up. Very good. Tried to schedule a touch up with her and she initially responded. Then ghosted me for a month. I went into the shop, scheduled it with her, I showed up for the appointment, and she was nowhere to be found. I was told she was not coming in that day. Very unprofessional and rude. I went and saw Layne to get a butterfly tattooed and the two wings are so different when you look at it. The lines don't always connect and are uneven in some places. The antenna don't even connect to the body of the butterfly. I understand that it was a difficult place to tattoo and that it isn't his normal style but at the same time I expected better than this. The overall vibe of the actual tattoo shop is great and the other artists seem really nice. I just wouldn't even go back or recommend him to anyone. read more

A friend of mine and I both went to get tattoos here with Milton, we felt rushed through our appointment, and after the swelling went down, we were both upset with how they turned out. While I don't have a "tattoo nightmare" tattoo, it is certainly crooked and uneven. I can't speak for all of his tattoos as I've seen plenty that look great, but if I had known about the inconsistencies in his work, I would not have gone to him. read more

I went to schedule another tattoo with a different artist this time, Tanya and at first our conversation over text message went great and I gave her all the information she needed to start drawing out my tattoo. A week before my appointment I go to text her for any updates and an estimated price and I am left with zero communication back from her FOR DAYS. After having another shop cancel on me for the second time, I decided to give this one a try as a walk in. I saw Milton. He came up with a beautiful sketch that was the perfect combination of themes, sat me down, and in 2 hours cranked out an absolutely perfect fully colored piece. He was not heavy handed and he was gentle and respectful. The shop was immaculately clean, bright, and welcoming. All artists present maintained an air of professionalism throughout my visit with all clients I observed. They all seemed engaging and friendly. They complimented each others work. Observed from respectable distances and made causal and pleasant small talk with clients. They were jovial with each other and the music playlist was upbeat and fun. They are cash only but there is an ATM within a block of the shop. I would not hesitate to visit this shop again and would likely be happy with any artist that I saw there. read more

And the guy said "YES" The next day I reached out to the piercer to let her know the gauge was too big and she said "sorry once you leave the shop, it's a final sale" I would have just ordered on Amazon if I had known that, but I wanted to keep my business local. The tattoo in the 4th session has been ignoring me for more than two months and does not respond to messages and I am stuck with an unfinished tattoo. Very unprofessional not recommend at all. The owner of the place said she would continue the work and not the tattoo that started and also the owner of the place did not come back to me.
