They have terrible service here. I've been here several times to get my husband's shirts dry cleaned and and my pants hemmed, and I have always run in to problems with them which always leads into a quarrel of some sort. You'd think dropping off clothes to get dry cleaned or altered would be the least of your worries. Don't waste your time or money coming here!!! Such a wonderful family owned business! Every time I go in I am greeted by either the owner or his daughter with a smile and a "Hello Jim How are you today"? I have no idea how they remember both mine and my wife's names, but they have since day one and that means a lot to me. As far as the quality of their work, I regularly get my suites and dress shirts cleaned here and have always been very happy with their work. We have also taken in delicate items such as a handmade blanket that my wife's departed Grandmother left her. We needed it cleaned because our puppy had an accident on it. I hate to write such a bad review, but save your time and money. I had one fine experience here, and one very poor experience- and will not be returning. I dropped off 3 items for dry cleaning, and 2 skirts with small hem tears for repair. I said there was no rush, and I would be back in 2 weeks- and was told to wait for a phone call. The phone call never came and I forgot about my items! I just remembered and stopped by yesterday (which was 3 months later!), and my clothes were not finished, and the simple seam fixes were not finished. I waited there as Fatima hastily sewed one of the seams and charged me $35 for it. I stood there and was reprimanded by both owners for not calling before I came. As if they would have cleaned my clothes if only I had called? I had dropped off a formal dress- where it was crucial to be cleaned immediately so invisible stains don't set. And now to find out that my dress had been sitting there with its stain sitting in for 3 months!? Very unprofessional, poor tailoring, and overpriced. read more

Quality of cleaning is average but their strange customer service is why Rose Hill Cleaners only deserves two stars. I consistently have to not only ask for when my clothes will be ready, they give me a smirk when I ask them to be more specific than "next week." Then, when I do go to pick up (a day afterwards to give them some leeway), they always seem to be "just finishing up" my item so I have to sit there and wait. I recently took my daughter's prom dress to Bakker's in the Houghton neighborhood of Kirkland. They were unable to remove a small stain on the garment. I have previously had items dry cleaned at Rose Hill Cleaner's in Kirkland. I decided to give them a try rather than live with the stain on my daughter's dress. They got the stain out completely and the dress was pressed perfectly. Not only that, they did not charge me! Bakker's on the other hand did, even though the stain remained on the dress. I will return to Rose Hill Cleaner's in the future and highly recommend them. read more

Had them re-sow an entire sleeve that was going to keep opening up. They insisted I fixed both since the other one was showing signs of damage. They quoted 5 days to finish. I arrive after 8 days to pick it up. They had not sown the sleeves and instead the sweater looked shrunk, indicating they probably washed it instead........... He apologized and said he'd fix it on the spot and to give him 30 minutes. I told him i'd just come back the next day instead. I go get it two days later and it was finished and looked OK. But there were some hanging threads on the seam. I leave the sweater in my car, and leave the car there while I visit a store next door. Come back 10 minutes later to a passive-aggressive note on my car saying "Rose Hill Cleaners Parking ONLY" As I get in my car to leave, he comes out to tell me he "Didn't notice" that was my car, even though he saw me enter it to put the sweater in it, and the car was right there the entire time I was talking to him in his store. He lets me know that he had called the towing company and almost got my car towed.... because he "Didn't notice" Never going back. Quality of fix was good, but my experience, while surely uncommon, was just terrible. read more

I'm not giving a 5 because this was my first visit and, for all I know, could have been a total fluke of a wonderful experience. =) I'll up this to a 5 once I visit a few more times with the same results. OVERVIEW: This cleaners seems to run on integrity, with a clear emphasis on customer satisfaction. They were able to return my white cocktail dress (many blemishes mixed with tons of layers and fabric folds to maneuver) to better than its original glory on short NYE-weekend notice. I was turned down by two other nearby cleaners when I needed my NYE dress cleaned by Monday (turned it in on a Friday). They said they didn't do weekends. I tried Rose Hill for the first time and not only found it to be clean and inviting (really above par), but found the man working the desk to be extremely accommodating. (I think he was the owner). Not only did he say the timing would be no problem, but he went to the back to remove a small stain when I inquired if it was something he thought could be fixed. This showed a clear desire on his part to meet my needs, not just a desire to get my cash in his drawer (I've never had a cleaner volunteer to do a free on-the-spot stain removal to gain my trust). I returned to pick up my white cocktail gown to find it in better shape than it was when I bought it from BCBG (it was on the sale rack, to be fair, lol). The bust was even stuffed with tissue paper to hold out the shape! This dress has intricate folds and layering and was pressed to perfection. The total was $15. I expressed to the man (same as drop off) that I appreciated they run their machines on Saturdays (unlike the other cleaners I visited) and he said, "absolutely! We run them on Sundays, too." This is my new cleaner. The other places treated me like a commodity. This one treated me like a valued customer. read more

I've taken my clothes here a few times and they have always gotten them cleaned on time and well. Recently, I took my clothes to them very late before leaving on vacation and asked them if they could please turn it around by the next business day, and the lady agreed to do so even though their business was to be closed the next day due to one of their holidays. I have had nothing to complain about yet. Not sure why others are so vehemently oppossed to them, though it's curious that they recommend competitors. read more

I am impressed! I dropped a comforter off to them last April and forgot all about it. I did have my receipt, which was odd, it was hiding in my purse. But even if I hadn't had it he had my comforter sitting up there at the front right on top like he knew I was coming in after all this time. Maybe that has something to do with the weather I'm not sure. Either way I'll be sleeping warmer and a nice clean comforter tonight. Also, he showed me a bunch of comforters that he's been holding onto for years. So if you have left something there in the past, go check it out, he probably still has it. read more

I took a simple pair of pants to be hemmed. I was told to return for them in a week. When I came back, not only did it take her 20 minutes to find them, but also the work was not done. When I asked what the problem was, the women told me it was too quick of a turn around. When I said they were the ones to tell me when to pick the garment up, she said something about I should have dropped it off at her store instead. Fast forward to 3days later when I returned, they charged me more because the pant were "really wide". This was not true and regardless, I am sure the pant width didn't change from when I was given the original price quote. Not going back! read more

I had the most insane experience, but as I read other's reviews, I see that being berated by the owners happens rather frequently. After I picked up my dry cleaning from this cleaner, I put on a silk blouse they had cleaned, and noticed a sizeable stain that had not been there before. Not a big deal - my husband dropped the blouse back off at the cleaners, expecting them to simply re-clean it. Instead, they called him and screamed at him for accusing them of doing poor quality work, and how that would never happen at their cleaners and that we must have taken it to some other cleaners and are now accusing them. They were defensive, rude and condescending. When I called back to ask what happened and ask what they planned to do, the wife of the owner got on the phone and harangued me for another 10 minutes, screaming at me and personally attacking my husband. It was insane. I sat on the phone in silence, as I could not get a word in edgewise. By the end of the call, she told me that if I wanted them to clean it, they would refuse to, as they don't want customers like me. Wow. read more

Tuesday came and went with no call, so I went in there Wed morning and the guy at the counter said they weren't done and I needed to come back after 5pm to pick them up. So I made another trip over there after 5pm only for the lady to tell me she would never tell me to come in on Tuesday because that was her anniversary and also how cheap my zipper in my expensive Nordstrom pants were, and also that she hadn't finished them. They advertise that they have free pick-up and delivery, so I asked them since I hadn't recieved a phone call like promised, and since I had made 2 trips to pick them up after the expected date and neither time were they ... !
