Mexican lager hit the spot. I was able to sit at the bar table outside. Very chill vibes with a great tasting beer.

Great to know this amazing tasting room thanks to scavenger hunt Yelp Elite event! Thanks a lot! This was a great surprise because of the possibility to sit at their nice terrace or inside at that big communal table with a colorful Mexican oilcloth and enjoy the company of strangers that can become friends over a conversation and a glass of wine. I had a good time listening to the way the server was presenting the various bottles, he was great and looked like an actor, also the way he spoke, so the overall experience was somehow theatrical for me. I loved it and actually met people, which is a rare thing to do spontaneously these days. I did not try a sample of the passion fruit wine but the red one I had was awesome. Next time! It will be a next time for sure.

I came twice to Rose's Tasting Room. One day to taste the Roses Mimosas and today to taste the beer. I love it. The bar men was very nice to us and give me really good recommendations. My favorite mimosa was the mango. The place is very cute and decorations are amazing. It's a really nice place to sit and feel comfortable looking at the rest of the tourist, taking pictures, it's just super. I do recommend roses tasting room when you come to the old town San Diego.

This place was such a fun addition to my birthday weekend. Part of Old Town San Diego, small and cozy. Sit inside or out and people watch! The barkeep was knowledgeable and very nice! We liked that you could taste both beer and wine!!! Restaurants are close by if you want a bite to eat. The free tortilla place is right in front! Great fun!

Another lucky adventure via Yelp! I really was not aware there were so many great stores or this lovely wine spot! This place is super cute with a patio! there's quite a big selection of different wine themed items. The winetender or would he be a sommelier was very informative & engaging. I would love to check out the happy hour.

After walking around Old Towne we found this spot and decided to try a few beers while my gf's parents walked around. We did a flight and tried a few options. My favorite was the mango blitz, which paired so perfectly Tajín. There's a gift shop as well with some pretty cool stuff. Drop in and check this spot out.

A cute and little wine tasting place in old town San Diego. They serve beer and wine, also many interesting beer and wine related merchandises! We had a mimosa flight with interesting flavors, I liked the lavender and ginger flavors. But those mimosas were a bit sweet to my liking. We should've had beer tastings. They had indoor and outdoor seatings, it was very cozy and relaxing. Our bartender was so friendly and knowledgeable about wines. We got a few cute souvenirs of course. Highly recommend to come in for some tastings whenever you visit old town San Diego!

I had walked by here a number of times over the years but, Never stopped in until which was Cinco de Mayo ..what a perfect time to have a refreshing libation. In all honesty, the happy, joyful smiling face lured me in. I asked him what beers he had on draft and went with a Mexican larger. It was light and very refreshing. My friend decided to wait until lunch. I did offer her a few sips. This cute little Wine bar is tucked away in the back. They offer beer flights, wine flights and also mimosas. There are a few little tables with stools and a large table inside if you want to share with other people Roses is a pleasant place and I'm looking forward to seeing Austin again...Oh, more beer please. Haha

We really enjoyed this experience in Old Town. The wine was delicious and the pricing was affordable. It was a nice rainy day activity for us. They have some unique options and they have a store where you can buy a bottle of what you have tasted.

This is one of the best places to go for a drink. It's a safe space specially if Joe is there. He also makes the best micheladas!

Organization: 4/5 IMPRESSIVE website for this type of location. Located in Historic Old Town, way in the back of the plaza. Atmosphere: 4/5 Great area to immerse yourself in the cultures of Old Town and Hispanic heritage. The seating area is small, but most people are only there for a taste. Service: 5/5 The bartender was so friendly & so nice! She recommended some specific drinks for us & even made sure my dog had water! Food/Beverage Quality: 5/5 Loved every beer we tried! Definitely recommend getting a flight, they do pours of beer or wine! Value for Price: 5/5 Great value, our flight, plus a few extras was only about $15! And we tried 6 different beers (5 oz. pour).

A smooth experience overall. Called the night before to make a reservation for 6 and had the option for indoor or outdoor seating. We chose outdoors. On Saturdays they open at 11.. right when we had our reservation. The staff quickly got our table ready. We had a combination of mimosa ($20) and wine ($15) flights. I believe all of the wines are local San Diego products, a lot come from around Ramona. I had a wine flight and loved each wine, my favorite being the moscato. I also sampled the blue sangria.. called blue because it is made with blueberries and not actually blue. Very good! My friends highly recommend the cucumber jalapeño mimosa as well.. everyone enjoyed their flights. The pours were standard. We celebrated a birthday and the staff (Colton) was generous enough to toast champagne with us! Colton was very knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. Our group enjoyed his stories and anecdotes throughout checking in on us. The place is located in "casa de Reyes" next to a chocolate store.. towards the back of the plaza. It is small so I recommend a reservation. Excellent wines and fun experience overall!

We absolutely loved our visit to Rose's! The gentleman behind the bar was phenomenal. Incredibly knowledgeable yet down to earth. Lovely little spot.

This place exceeded every one of them. Nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, Wolf in the Woods feels like a hidden European café you'd stumble upon while traveling. Sitting outside beneath the umbrellas with a cocktail, watching the neighborhood stroll by. It felt like a little corner cafe in Paris. Then the food arrived. Every plate was beautifully presented, but the real magic was in the creativity of the flavors. The combinations were unexpected, yet every one worked. Every dish had me wondering how on earth someone came up with these pairings in the first place. The Sweet Corn & Piñon Soup deserves a standing ovation. We literally stopped talking after the first spoonful. Rich, savory, slightly sweet, comforting and completely unexpected all at the same time. Both of our eyes rolled back in our heads. The Beef Tataki completely surprised me. The outside had a delicate seared crust, the inside cut like butter, and the citrus pairing made me rethink what flavors belong together. And the mushroom and polenta dish? The mushrooms had an incredible texture--like savory little pieces of mushroom jerky. I would have happily bought a pound of them just to snack on. Every dish felt like it was taking me somewhere I'd never been before, yet somehow felt familiar at the same time. Wolf in the Woods creates an unforgettable experience.
