Food: The food is superb, the chicken tenders are really crispy, and the steak is much better than the one's served at other restaurants. Normally at other restaurants, when you order a medium/rare steak, the chefs would just give you a medium or even a medium/well done. But, these chefs really made it well. The steak was really tender and the best I've ever tasted. Awesome food here. I will be back. Service: It was raining the day we went, so there weren't a lot of people. So, I guess that's why there wasn't a lot of staff present at the time. The waitress was polite and when I asked her what a sherbet was she responded accurately. The food, however, took a long time to come out, possibly another effect of the rainy day, as there weren't many chefs. All in all, the service was quite good. Ambiance: The place is really clean, without any crumbs or anything. The entire place gives a fancy feeling. (The lighting, tables, chairs, menus, etc.) There were no loud noises or conversations (another effect of the rain, maybe). (P.S.: There's a special theme every day except for Saturday so it's really nice. Sunday is free for kids. SADLY, only the food from the children's menu will be free. :) You will not be able to order a steak for your child).

Went here today for lunch with girlfriends. They had a fireplace, which wasn't going, it would have been a nice day for it. Friendly staff, and a decent menu. I got soup and a wrap. My soup was barely warm, but my wrap was very good. Nice clean bathrooms. Also a box of glasses in the lobby...I've never seen that before, and I totally love the idea! There were 7 people in my party and half of them forgot their glasses!

Ashbury is located at the Boughton Ridge golf course. I ate lunch here before playing golf. We asked the host if we could sit outside and she was happy to sit us anywhere. The patio has a beautiful view of the golf course. Our server (Brian) was friendly & knowledgeable. He kept our drinks filled and was available if we needed anything. They were offering $2 draft beers as the daily drink special. The beer had a strange taste so I decided to order a bottle beer. The bottles of beer were only a little more than draft beer. I chose the California Chicken wrap as my entree. The wrap was filled with grilled chicken, bacon, cheese, avocado, and red peppers. The wrap was prepared fresh and had a great taste. They have a wide variety of items in their lunch menu. They offer basic appetizers, soups/salads, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, etc. Ashbury also has different menus for breakfast and dinner. I would love to try breakfast here of we had an earlier tee time. We were able to enjoy lunch and a beer before playing golf. We told our server our tee time and did not have to rush. Overall- great tasting food, accommodating service, and beautiful view! I will be back soon!

View is great from upstairs banquet room!

Attempts to reach corporate through their listed executive emails bounced back as undeliverable. On June 21 around 2pm, I experienced highly unacceptable and unprofessional behavior from on-site managers, Meghan & Javier. Upon arrival, I was referred to the bar area where a member of staff took my to-go order which consisted of an appetizer and two desserts (slices of cake ) from your menu. Five minutes after placing my order, the young lady returned and said she was informed that the restaurant, despite having it on the menu presented to me, no longer offers cake slices to go, but if I dined in, I would be able to order the cake. I asked to speak with the manager. "Meghan" approached and said that, despite the false advertising on the menu, we could not order the normal size cake to go but a smaller version was available. When asked to see the menu reflecting said portion and pricing, it was not available. I then asked if there was someone else who could help. After waiting 10 minutes, manager "Javier" approached, not introducing himself, and spoke with an aura of disrespect, simply stating that it isn't necessary for the restaurant to advertise the smaller cake slice or price, and the only way we would be able to order is if we were to dine-in. When I offered for myself and my daughter to dine in at the bar with the order we originally placed to go (baked goat cheese with extra crostini, chocolate cake and carrot cake), we were told that was insufficient and that a "full tab" would be needed. In all of my dining experience, I have never been treated with such contempt, especially from management. Instead of working to resolve a standard issue or offering some sort of solution , the manager simply walked away without any resolve. This behavior is completely out of line with standard hospitality practices. I have submitted a formal report through WeEat website intake form on June 30 and am waiting for a prompt response from a regional director or HR representative to resolve this matter. I hope that in the future you will address these issues and improve the service at Goat and Vine as treating patrons on this level should not be taken lightly.

It was 5:45, I didn't have a reservation, a they didn't have a table available until 7:30 but there were spots at the bar which they said was full service. My friend and I cozied up to it and ate there. What a surprisingly good experience. The staff was super friendly and that bartenders had great suggestions. I hate when people at the restaurant say everything is good. Not these young ladies. They made some sound suggestions which we followed. French onion soup and the steak frites were both excellent and priced well IMO. They have a really good whiskey/bourbon selection with a few hard to find bottles. I settled on a Blantons neat. They had Pappy, but I'm not wasting money on that anymore. Food came out quickly and we ate and watched a baseball game. The locals at the bar told us about their membership program where I guess for a small mo they fee you get a bottle of wine and a charcuterie plate once a month. Seemed like a pretty good deal. I don't live anywhere near there, but if I did I'd certainly join. In any case, if you live anywhere close, this is definitely a worthwhile restaurant to visit. Seems like there were quite a few singles there as well if you are looking to meet someone. I have no idea what the dating scene is like in Lemont, but this might be a good spot to try.

So I thought we were all set. Our reservation was for 6:00, and we arrived at 5:54. We were told to wait until six, which was perfectly fine. Six o'clock rolls around and we're told they're still cleaning the table. Okay, we wait. Then we wait. And wait. Thirty minutes later, we find out the people who had the table STILL hadn't even left. Baby...what exactly were we reserving three weeks ago, a future dream? They offered us a complimentary appetizer, which I appreciate in theory, but when you've got a party of eight waiting 40 minutes past their reservation time, I'm not really looking for the cheapest appetizer on the menu. I'm looking for the table I reserved. Eventually, we were seated, and thank GOD for our server Alexis B, because they completely turned the experience around. Funny, knowledgeable, incredibly kind, and genuinely one of the best servers I've ever had. If I could give them five stars separately, I would. They made us feel welcome and somehow kept the whole table laughing after that rocky start. The food had some hits and misses. The crab cake was a little too spicy for my taste, although the rest of the table enjoyed it. The mini sliders, however? DELICIOUS. That buttery, well seasoned bun was doing exactly what it needed to do. Then came my Entourage burger, and baby...THAT burger understood the assignment. It was absolutely packed with flavor. So good that I practically inhaled it. My server even asked if I wanted another one because apparently I ate it fast enough to qualify for a second round. Unfortunately, the management situation left a lot to be desired. After the issues getting our table, the managers seemed to keep watching our group throughout the night. If you're going to stare, baby, at least commit to the performance! It made an already awkward situation feel even more uncomfortable. Honestly, my server Alexis B, was the ONLY reason this experience ended on a positive note. They were so charming and personable that by the end, they felt more like a friend than a server. I'm genuinely going to miss them. The food was good, and that burger was fantastic, but a three-week reservation should not turn into a 40 minute wait with a party of eight standing around wondering when they're going to eat. So unfortunately, I'm leaving with two stars. The food gave me reasons to come back, but the reservation experience and management gave me reasons to stay home. And to my server: you were the star of the night. Protect this person at all costs.
