What a pleasant surprise. This is a cozy place with locals. The food is fabulous and large portions. There were 3 of us and only 1 was starving. Starving - had the Chicken Piccatta which was delicious. The chicken was tender and you can select the type of pasta you want. The other 2 split the Roasted Beet Salad and the Stuffed Pepper. Both were very generous. The Red Pepper came with a salad as well...who knew. There is something for everyone. I have not tried the pizza but it looked amazing. I must add that the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We have been customers of Parmesan Pete's for many years. However, this will be our new local place instead of Parmesan Pete's. The service and friendly staff, not to mention the wide variety of options is a bonus. The service we have received and the attitude of the owners and servers at PP turned us off one too many times. The only negative was the wait of our meal but they were busy and it will not keep us from returning. They were friendly and apologetic. You can expect that on a Friday night. My experience with this restaurant is limited but I feel compelled to tell my story. I went there for lunch. There are no specials for lunch on the weekends. I could afford the veal sandwich. It was served in a size for 3 diners. I'd rather pay less than $15 for 1 serving and a small side. I tried the complimentary rolls and it was very unItalian restaurant like. Bland. The veal and the sandwich with cheese even dipped in the marinara sauce was tasteless. This was the most vanilla bland sterile food I have ever had. I took leftovers home but I think that container will be going to the curb. Big disappointment. I would be afraid to try the pizza. read more

Simply said, the food is very good. Just do not go on a Saturday night. We are a table of six. Call ahead seating worked out great. Place is short staffed. There is a young lady that was wearing hostess, phone orders, and waitress hats. This could not and did not work well. Let me just say that getting silverware was a challenge. 2 dinners came out. Then nothing. After a while, our very nice waitress said our order got confused. The owner came over and apologized. We said we understood. He remade the 2 dinners that already came out. We said not necessary, but he did anyway. Look, the place is nice, atmosphere is modern and clean, and the food was good. Just do not go at a prime time in a Saturday. I was with a group of friends on our Friday night out, and I will definately return with my significant other. The Chicken Picata was cooked perfectly with just enough lemon flavor and the portion was huge, so much that I took half of it home... First time visiting here and was recommended this place by a friend who can't say enough great things about this place. Rosedale Pizza is located in the Magnolia Square Plaza at the intersection of Pine Ridge Rd. and Goodlette Frank. There is plenty of parking and inside seating with a nice granite counter top that spans across the open kitchen to the bar area which also accommodates seating. They serve appetizer, Italian entrees, pizzas, calzones, salads, desserts beer and wine. Place has a casual ambience and suitable for all occasions. They currently are running a 1/2 off Happy Hour 3-6pm selected menu with a lot of nice offerings to choose from which included pizza and domestic beers. Luckily I made it in time how can you go wrong with a Margherita Pizza for $6.95. My server, Renee had taken my order and I decided on their Brick Oven Made Margherita Pizza with pepperoni. She was very friendly and frequented often making sure my visit was a good experience. The pizza was crispy on the bottom and perfectly executed. They serve a low moisture mozzarella with a light aromatic sauce that was flavorful. The pepperoni was the uncured type that shrinks holding in those yummy pockets of pepperoni grease making it oh so yummy ! My dining experience was spot on tonight with great service, excellent food and a nice clean environment. I definitely recommend taking advantage of their Happy Hour Menu for the great deals. Rosedale was excellent! We came here because we found the Groupon. Service was fast, attentive, and precise. Everyone that worked there acted with a sense of urgency and purpose. A manager or owner was visible, engaged, and genuine (not the typical disingenuous visit by the restaurant manager). Food was awesome. Pizza was average...not bad...but run of the mill. However, the meatball parm sandwich and chicken parm were both awesome!! Their sauce was perfect consistency, and flavor. The meatballs are the best I've ever had at a restaurant. Seriously, in my 41 years, the beat I've had at a restaurant. They rival that of my Italian grandparents. My partner lives his chicken parm with penne and sauce. Great breading, great sauce. Definitely worth eating at Rosedale. Their store isn't large, but homey and efficient. Holy moly that chicken francaise was sooo lemony!! I couldn't finish it. It was like biting into a lemon, i was making faces i couldn't control. The ravioli appetizer was yummy. Not only did she feel the need to text before acknowledging you at the door, but she also feels the need to send out a text before she grabs the items you ask for. I ordered a Toscana and pepperoni pizza with an order of their wings. The Toscana was undercooked, with crust so thin, the slices ripped when you take one. It's also supposed to come with prosciutto... it didn't have prosciutto. I was stuck with a vegetarian pile of garbage. The wings were flavorless and dry. Looking for some pizza while in Naples for the weekend and this place caught my eye. The pizza is almost paper thin!!! Delicious!!! The sauce had great flavor and was really close to taking me back to nyc. Sadly I'm not gonna be back anytime soon so it'll be a while before I come back but they've been bookmarked and will become a mainstay on our trips over. We had a fabulous lunch at Rosedale. This was our third visit to Rosedale and we have always had great food & service. The waitress recommended the Eggplant Parmigiana and it was amazing. Three layers of lightly fried eggplant with mozzarella between each layer. Probably the best we've ever had. The spaghetti with tomato sauce that came on the side was also delicious. The sauce tasted homemade and fresh basil gave it wonderful flavor. The kids had a NY Style Pizza and a Cheese Calzone and both were delicious. The Arugula & Italiano Pizzas were also great! If you're looking for good pizza, this is the place to go! We split some appetizers including the wings italiano (with full cloves of garlic!), very different but tasty, and crispy! Then we went on to pizzas. I had some of a cheese pizza and some of the chicken bruschetta. So unique and delicious! They weren't too heavy, just right. Can't wait to go back! Food was good, however the reason for low review was the server, Giovanni M. He spoke fast like he wanted to hurry and leave the table. At times, you couldn't even understand what he was saying, due to the speed of speech. We had a party of four. We ordered our meal and received our salads. Which was fine however, before we could finish our salad, he brought our entrées. Not acceptable. A server knows how to pace a meal. He did take back the entrées to serve after the salad, however returned again before we were done. A member of our party finally said to him stop being in such a hurry and take your time you're rushing us. We are not enjoying our meal. We found that a lot of Italian restaurants in this are serve small portions with steep prices. So we were really trying to find a happy medium and this is the place! The staff was very nice, the bread and oil that came prior to our entrees was super delicious. I ordered the Alla Vodka, my husband had the baked gnocchi. We both LOVED it. Both dishes were full of flavor! Very savory! We enjoyed our leftovers the next day and it wasn't a greaser/oily mess like a lot of take home pasta dishes are after a day. It was perfect. Extremely disappointed in this place. Placed an order at 8pm, 1 hour before closing. Picked it up at 8:30pm and no one was in the place. We were told we were the only order in the last hour, so you'd think they get it right? Nope. Mine had the wrong toppings (bleu cheese, gross), wrong style (margherita instead of NY style) and was floppy as hell - very undercooked. My wife's was overcooked and dry. The ingredients are very mediocre as well. I'd highly recommend any of the number of local pizza places over this one. I can't imagine how bad it'd be if they were actually busy. Oh, and the tiramisu was awful - basically angel food cake with espresso. There is nothing authentic about this place. Save your money. read more
