I'm used to really great Thai food in CT. So this review might be quite bias. First, service was friendly and ambiance was nice and quiet. But food was just okay. Their shrimp shumai and chives dumpling were not homemade, sold at Asian markets frozen... and can microwave or steam it.. not happy about that. But okay. The crispy duck was tasty and was not spicy at all, the menu says spicy. The shiitake blossom ( veggie stir fry was good but way overpriced for greens and the small portion was insufficient ) for $16.. come on. And the pork peppercorn dish was misleading, it was made of green curry with no peppercorns at all and not even a hint of spiciness, might as well call it Thai green curry. Food was not bad, but not authentic. It's Americanized Thai... quite disappointed honestly. But I understand that they have to cater to the taste of the population they're serving food who are not used to authentic spices and heat. Not a bad choice if you want change of cuisines.. but it's just not for me.

We got here right after a group of 16-18 people yet service was still quick and the food was delicious. Mango curry had giant slices of mango in it.

If you're from the West Coast or big East Coast Cities (people know the difference between good Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese food): food is fair-ok with nice people, reasonable prices, and a nice atmosphere. If you're from most places on the East Coast (Asian food): This place has great authentic Thai food, definetly better than average with nice people, reasonable prices, and a nice atmosphere. If you're from Maine: The food is AMAZING!!! I drive 45 minutes to eat here when i've been in town for an extended period and I am craving some descent "Asian" food!

No rice with your food, utensils probably cost extra, too. A ridiculous way to run a business. Nobody likes to feel cheated.

I like the food, but for the 5th time in a row the food was over 20 minutes late. 35 minutes late today, going to have to find a new spot.

The lobster bisque had large pieces of lobster in it and was very tasty -- creamy but light. I tasted my husband's clam chowder and while it was very good, I was glad I had ordered the bisque. We split an order of fried scallops. They were fries perfectly, and were tender and hot. Served with fries and cole slaw, both of which were very good. We sat on the deck and enjoyed a beautiful view of the harbor. Service was attentive and quick. 10/10 would recommend

Ordered the fried haddock sandwich too. Soup arrived with steam (before the spoons to eat it came) but the soup was actually not that hot when we tasted it. We had to wait for spoons. The bowl of lobster bisque was $34, which was a conscious decision for us to order - because that's expensive. (A cup is$20.) The lobster bisque had no flavor. The salt, pepper and lemon we added ourselves helped but for $34, it should be amazing. It cooled off super quickly and was room temperature within 3 minutes and in 8 minutes or so, cold. Which means it wasn't truly heated through and through to start. We regret ordering it. The fried haddock sandwich had zero flavor. None. Not salt, not pepper. The fries and Heinz ketchup had the most flavor of anything on our table. When the sandwich came we asked for another plate (we were sharing it), which never came. At one point, the waitress came over and asked how everything was. I replied, "Eh, alright." She said "Okay!" and walked away. Disappointing since, budget-wise, we are eating out one meal a day of this trip and that was the experience (and lack of flavor) we had. $66 including tip. Such a waste. Sorry to say....but skip this place.

My husband and I visited for drinks and spent a few hours at the bar. During the first part of our visit, we had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was friendly, we enjoyed meeting other patrons, including several Canadian Army veterans on a motorcycle tour, and the service from the initial bartender was excellent. We appreciated being allowed to play a complimentary game of pool. Unfortunately, the experience changed dramatically after the bartending shift change. From that point on, we felt unwelcome and believed staff chose to side with a small group of patrons during a disagreement rather than taking the time to understand the situation. Ultimately, we were asked to leave, which came as a complete surprise and left us feeling embarrassed and disappointed. What makes this especially frustrating is that we had spent a significant amount of money at the establishment and had been enjoying ourselves without issue for most of the evening. the way the situation was handled left us feeling dismissed and unfairly treated. Based on this experience, I would not return and don't recommend this establishment to other visitors.

Fancy pants presentation and all things considered some of the best crab cakes we had on our trip. Bartender was really friendly and was super proud of their whiskey/bourbon collection. He did point out a few bottles to us that were really quite special and hard to come across. They had some Penelope variants that were unseen to me. I would come back in a heartbeat.
