Dining: We dined at Thorn Restaurant & Lounge, located in the hotel lobby, and everything was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was impeccable, and the cocktail menu did not disappoint. I highly recommend the Not So Old Fashioned -- definitely order it smoked! During our business meeting, we ordered breakfast, and I was blown away by the portion sizes. That breakfast burrito with the oven-roasted potatoes could honestly keep you full all day! Accommodations: The rooms are stunning. The décor throughout the property is modern, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. My bed was incredibly comfortable, and the large shower provided the perfect way to unwind after a long day. I also appreciated the charming old-school Frigidaire in the room -- such a fun touch! Service: From the front desk staff to the restaurant team, everyone was warm, friendly, and accommodating. The hotel even checked in with me via text throughout my stay, and when I requested extra pillows, they arrived promptly. This was my first time staying at this property, but it definitely won't be my last. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! #YelpEliteSquad

They have a pretty good menu. I enjoyed the Faroe Island Salmon, those amazing house-battered wings, and the raspberry cheesecake. I'd definitely stay here again. They brought up towels on a regular basis. They had a breakfast buffet in the mmorning filled weith eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, cereals, decent baked goods, nothing to scream about but the food was decent. The evening rreception was a wonderful treat. its not a meal but snacks such as vegetabloes, cheese, snack mix, chips and salsa and great area on the second floor to socialize with others. Offered wine during the evening reception.Of course, they had someone upsale you on their hilton rewards and packages but the staff was courtesous and friendly. Public areas clean. I would deifnitely stay at an embassy suite if I had to. They had a bus sbhuttle to ansd from the airport, 10-15 minute ride from the airport. I was staying with two other friendsd. I wished they had black out curtains for the front doors of the cuite as the light frommthe lobby shined through the door 24 hours and it made it hard to sleep. I would highly recommend anyone in the CHicago area to come stay at this hotel. There are pools which other found to be cold. Yjere is even a restaurant on rhe first floor, which made imt easy to grab a bite when the rain cloud made it hard to go out to eat

My room had a great view of downtown Rosemont, and the bed was huge, very comfortable and clean sheets. There are plenty of electrical outlets in the room; given that I came for work this is important. There's also a little couch / divan by the window. Consistent with the quality of come to expect from Hilton, there was daily housekeeping. The conference spaces where the seminar was held, were clean, stocked with snacks, and had good acoustics. The gym, on the 10th floor, broken down into two spaces: one four cardio in the pool and the other for weights. The pool is heated and is open until 11pm. There are about 4 treadmills, and the strength section has a good mix of free weights and machines. The lobby restaurant had a good selection of Americana (think burgers & roasted chicken) as well as a really yummy green risotto and short ribs, as well as a hearty cab sab. Their penne vodka with chicken was another favorite. Remember how I mentioned I came for work? Well the USB adapter in my laptop must have not liked the turbulence on my flight and it got damaged. Well, the front desk employees were really helpful in trying to be defined another electronic store and eventually suggesting that just order it through Uber and they would hold it at the front desk. Great service there! The only improvement I would suggest is with the parking. When a friend of mine came to visit for a couple of hours, she was charged $40 by their third-party provider. It'd be nice if they had an hourly option for parking.

It's not super obvious but you go up the escalators/stairs to check in on the second floor. Check in went fairly quickly and there's water in the check in area. Assigned a room on the 10th floor and glass elevators moved quickly. Hotel rooms all face inside; similar to a Embassy Suites. The room was clean and spacious but the toilet has a foot flush pedal which was a little weird. Hotel is also undergoing some renovations so perhaps it will be different in the upcoming year. This was a nice conference venue but not too much else. It's pretty far from downtown (1+ hour in traffic, 25 min without). There isn't a ton of casual seating space like I've seen in other Hyatts but there is some general spaces and coffee shop market with tables. Didn't spend much time in the bar area but it's pretty central and seemed like it was pretty active there every night.

During my stay, the building experienced a water outage that lasted an entire day. This meant there was no running water in my room, making it impossible to shower, use the restroom normally, or prepare for class. At the time, I was also dealing with personal health needs that made the lack of running water especially difficult from a basic hygiene standpoint. Not having access to water during that situation was extremely stressful and uncomfortable, particularly while trying to stay focused on my academic responsibilities. I had to reach out to management to address the issue and request a room change. While they did move me to another room, the situation was not handled proactively, and no assistance with moving my belongings was offered until I asked. In a hospitality setting, I expected more support during a disruption like this. After my stay, Candace from the hotel reached out and added 8,000 World of Hyatt points to my account, which I do appreciate. However, I replied to provide additional context on how significantly the outage impacted my stay and never received a response to my final email, sent on February 13, 2026. The lack of follow-up communication after that point was disappointing, and it adds to my experience with this company. I've had positive experiences with Hyatt properties in the past, which is why this stay stood out negatively. I hope the hotel improves both guest support during unexpected issues and communication afterward when guests raise concerns.
