    Oxtail!
    Mike H.

Pretty good lunch spot. It's halal friendly and run by a nice group of Jamaican people who give great service. I got the oxtail curry with rice. Very tasty! I really enjoyed it and of course oxtail meat on bone takes a bit of work to get around the bones. The in house Jamaican patties were quite good as well, I always love to try any place that makes it in house. The pastry on it was the standout, while the filling was fine, not spectacular. My coworker ordered the jerk chicken which has bbq sauce poured on top of the chicken, I am not sure if that's authentic thing to do but they weren't pleased with it and was hoping to have it on the side if they knew that was going to happen.

NOTE***** THE ONLY REASON I REMOVED ONE STAR IS BECAUSE IT IS NOT A COMFORTABLE PLACE TO SIT AND EAT... I am so glad that this place exists... I have been trying to find an AMAZING HALAL********* LET ME REPEAT... HALAL!!!!!! JERK CHICKEN PLACED made by an authentic Jamaican. The portions are appropriate. The location is in a busy area (Scarborough) The venue isn't so great to sit at...which doesn't really matter because you can have the amazing food in the comfort of your home Their house made pepper sauce is really good The owner is really nice and welcoming You can tell the food is made FRESH!!!! and the taste of the food is ASTONISHING!!!!! I don't know how many times I have bought food from here but it was worth it everytime. I always get the jerk chicken which includes chicken (Of course) rice and peas... and coleslaw.... There are two sizes (Small and large) The food is also fresh to eat the next day as well... I have no complaints about this place but I am pretty sure the owner is going need to start hiring more people to help him out because IT IS GROWING!!!! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! If i could, I would work at this place just to eat the food everyday :)

Went twice, on a sat and weekday. Food on the weekend is fresher. The rice is served warm and soft. Second time I went there, the food was little cold and the rice taste like over night rice.... picture was taken on the Saturday and was served by a man.

I brought my parents here last night. My dad had the king fish and mom and I had the jerk chicken plates. We were all so satisfied with our meals in terms of the quality and portions. The business is run by a Jamaican family so you're getting authentic Jamaican food. They're very nice people. The store itself is very plain looking so that's something they could improve on in the future. I'll definitely be back for more.

Generous portion and staff members are super nice. I arrived from Ottawa and was looking for Carribean restaurant and came across this little joint and it worth the try. We ordered a large Jerk chicken and curry goat. As someone very familiar with the Jamican food, the Jerk chicken was super authentic and well marinated. I Haven't tried the curry goat. Will recommend this place and will go back again.

Service 4.5* Food 4.5* Ambiance 3* Best jerk chicken in town so far! It's been hard to find a good jerk place but not anymore. The rice and peas with Jerk Chicken was amazing If you like creamy coleslaw then this is the place. Also had the sandwich special it's $5 with drink well worth it. Being halal this place is worth it. They have a few tables and it's not known for the Ambiance but take out is lit. The place is clean and friendly staff.

LOOK at the 1gram of coleslaw that comes with $18 jerk. Not mad cuz it tastes disgusting anyways. Just like everything else

The BEST jerk chicken in Toronto, and it's not even close with other competitors. Their fried chicken is also great.

Best halal Jerk chicken in town. The only draw back is they don't accept credit cards.

You can't help but smile in anticipation and then smile from how wonderful your meal is. I sat by myself in the back with all the other table for ones for dinner during a weekday. No wait for me because it was just for one. (At around 6pm, a table for two was around 30-35 minutes.) I had the morning glory with crispy pork and the beef larb salad. I had both dishes, fully. It was fabulous. I've already texted friends about this place.

There was essentially no wait for a party of three so we sat down immediately. They gave us two 750ml of water in a wine bottle, and were very prompt with their service. Their menu has really good pictures and it was so easy to make our selection. We asked our server Nat for recommendation and her recommendations were top notch! Prik pao Talay: the seafood stir fry was bomb! A tad sweet but such a decent amount of seafood and what a complex flavor profile! 5/5 Crab fried rice: 5/5 spectacular. Great wok hei or the pan fried smell to the rice and each grain was separate. A classic Thai dish done absolutely right and delicious. Kor moo gaeng kua: 5/5 the pork was so freaken good! The cut of pork is pork neck and it was just so juicy and absolutely amazing in the coconut curry. Thai tea: its southern Thai tea, and you can't often find that in most Thai restaurants, so it was spectacular to see it. From the service to the food, I highly recommend this place!

This is their second location, in a build with 3 other food vendors. It is mostly a takeout restaurant. There is a small counter where you could stand and eat. There are six set combinations. Or you can build your own pasta (BYOP) combo. On the soft-opening day (2025-01-20), they were offering an opening special of Mac N Cheese with BBQ Chicken sample and a drink for only $6.99. I ordered the following: 1. BYOP: Garlic Shrimp, penne, rose sauce, broccoli, black olives, mushrooms. It automatically comes with sliced green peppers and chopped parsley. 2. Opening Special ($6.99) x 2. For the BYOP, they didn't warn me it was medium spicy. I can handle it with a cold drink! The shrimp and penne were perfectly cooked. I loved the rose sauce. My choices of broccoli,  black olives, and mushrooms worked well together and with the base. The Opening Special was delicious; the Mac n Cheese part and BBQ Chicken were really good! Unfortunately, the BBQ was mildly spicy, and my son didn't like it; more for me! The customer service was good. It took them a long time to prepare the food (there were many orders prior to mine). But it was opening day, so hopefully, they will speed up their cooking. There is no free WiFi. The food stall is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There are no customer washrooms. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2025-014

Similarly while I would not consider this quite a fusion restaurant, the food was indeed delicious! Most of the rice sides, had furikake sprinkled on top which always enhances the flavor. The sushi selection was good! The top items for me were the cod and lobster/shrimp udon. Again neither were quite executed as fusion (IMO) but nonetheless it was delicious! The steak was also good, but steak is more readily available on most menus elsewhere. The potato and egg salad as an app also made the top list. It was super creamy and paired nicely with the crunchy chips! The endless drink menu/option is also excellent, except I am not sure how much alcohol was actually in there because within the group of 13 people, most of us did not feel even slightly tipsy. The ambiance is beautiful and really embraces a jungle with vibrant colors intertwined into the interior. the bathroom however, is a different story as it is at the end of a very dark hallway. Not sure if they turn the lights on at night, but for someone with poor vision, it was hard to see as the light reflected off the walls. The servers were friendly and with a large group like ours, we did have some dishes that just never made it out so we did need to flag someone down for them about an hour or so in.
