Our weekend stops at Rosetta on the weekends are becoming a tradition! We usually go to the one in Aventura Mall. We stopped there yesterday to grab a coffee and some light bites before dinner. However, once we got there everything looked so good! (Like always!) and instead of getting a light bit, I ordered a pizza instead! The dough was looking so good and crispy and I couldn't stop myself! I ordered a margarita. My boyfriend ordered a Croissant with Ham and Cheese. While we were walking down the line to pay for the food, we saw all the delicious pastries and got a Fruit Tarte and some coffee. We couldn't find a spot across Rosetta where they have individual tables and a nice seating area, that area is always so packed for people who are not even eating anything at Rosetta! Good thing is that by the cashier area, you have a big high community table and another table right next to the window where you can see Rosetta's chef working on the upcoming pastries and goodies. My pizza was so good, just like I imagined when I saw that delicious bread, and the sauce and cheese were so good together! With a dash of oregano on top. My boyfriend's croissant was fresh and the ham itself looked so good too! The fruit pastry was amazing! I've never had a good experience with Rosetta. Everytime I go to take a look at their pastries, there are a ton of flies flying around and on top of the pastries. This time when I went to go check out the pastries as they do make something I love, I didnt see any flies so I decided to buy a cream puff. Once I opened the box I saw this. I've been following Rosetta Bakery on IG and it's so hypnotizing especially when you're hungry...so when strolling ok the first floor in the newest wing of Aventura Mall, I was stoked to see them! If you're slightly hungry even after eating a bagel just moments ago, trust me, you'll find a way to fit something else from here! I was totally taken by the mere fact that I had so many beautiful things to photograph...that after I thought I was done, I was in line buying something...or two. The place must have opened just a week or two ago per their IG post; it's a super attractive and homey feeling with some great comfortable seating in the general path right in front of the store. There's also seating directly in front of the kitchen prep and baking area that almost makes you feel as if your sitting inside that area. The display is what really got me with so many delectable items within reach you just can't resist yourself from not buying just one thing. 5/5 Vegetable Focaccia was really good...tasted really fresh and was recommended by the front counter assistant; she heated it up with a flat toaster and it was ok, and could have been hotter. It was around $5.00 3/5 Brownie with Nutella topped with a white chocolate shaving was ok...it was a little dryer than I wished but maybe if they heated it for 25 seconds it would've been softer. It was also around $5.00. It was more like a chocolate lava cake that needed to be heated up with a density of a cake rather than the consistency of a brownie being softer inside. I'm a proud Italian-American girl from New Jersey, so you know my taste for delicious Italian food is refined. I would never think that a small bakery in the hearty of a Floridian mall would provide such delicious baked goods, but here we are! My cousin used to live in the area, and when we came back to visit (and happened to go to the mall on a rainy day), he insisted we ate at Rosetta for lunch. I usually try not to eat to many carbs, but this is vacation we're talking about here so...I cheated, and cheated hard! First thing you should know about Rosetta is everything is made fresh - you can see the bakers creating their creations in the glass-box kitchen to the left of the registers. Because of this, and the nature of their 'fresh food,' you are limited to select what Rosetta has at the exact moment you're there. Their selections change throughout the day based on demand, so your choices will most likely be different from one hour to the next. As I said earlier, if you're on a carb-restricted diet, you're going to have a hard time finding something to eat here. Carbs are the star! But if you want to cheat with a sandwich or a baked good, then this place is for you. While the pizzas looked delicious, we didn't have any at this time. Instead, we opted for a turkey baguette (deli turkey with provolone, lettuce, tomato, onions) and a prosciutto and mozzarella ciabatta. We had them both toasted, so they were crispy, hot, and melty. The bread was delicious and the cold cuts were fresh - I just wish they offered balsamic vinegar with this sandwich. I'm actually surprised that a place like this doesn't offer balsamic vinegar, or a sandwich which balsamic glaze. Then, as a sweet treat, we opted for a bombaloni - basically, a yeasted sugar donut filled with nutella. It was HEAVENLY. If I lived near this bakery, it would be dangerous, because I would eat one every day. While we only had a small piece of their generous offering, I would love to go back and try other goodies. Of course, I'm in NJ, so I can't, but if I lived in the area, I would go to the place all the time. Oh, and as a bonus, I had their fresh orange juice to drink. Wow, there is nothing like fresh squeezed OJ! And it went perfectly with the salty nature of my prosciutto sandwich. We stopped here to buy some desserts to go. The line set-up seems like it would work; however, there's a corner that has more items after it that you can't see when placing your order. Essentially, you should do a "walkthrough" behind the actual line before getting in line to place your order so you're certain you know what you want. Sandwiches, good! Desserts, good! Coffee, good! What a not to like? Got a mini chocolate éclair, an apricot croissant and a latte and all three were great! I was reluctant to try the eclair since it was chocolate filled and I thought it might be dense but to my surprise, it was light and quite good! The apricot jam on the croissant was rather delicious as well and the latte's richness complimented it quite well. We enjoyed our food experience here so much that we swung by again after shopping and snagged a sandwich to go. The prosciutto, tomatoes and arugula filled baguette drizzled with olive oil was sooooo delicious and enough to feed two! This place is located inside the Aventura Mall near the new mall entrance so convenient to get to once inside mall. It's a cute set-up with a cute seating area right across from the counter area you would order. The sandwiches and focaccia is laid out so that you can see everything. We got in line to order behind a couple and it took a few minutes before someone was over to help - once they were, I felt rushed and yelled at like we were ordering in a NYC deli. It was not that busy at the time and I was taken aback by how unfriendly the service was. I had questions around the sandwiches since they don't have descriptions on them and there are so many. The menu they have listed above is very vague with some pricepoints but not what is inside the sandwiches. The lady helping us also had to peel the sandwiches open to tell us. It might be easier to have fewer selections with more inside the sandwiches because none were the perfect mix of ingredients. Some had greens whole others had cheese, different meats, but none perfectly matched to my taste. I ended up choosing turkey and cream Cheese inside a herbed ciabatta looking bun (after I asked what it was). My friend ordered her sandwich and got a Nutella filled donut. She also wanted a croissant and they had some displayed and some on a bakery cart behind the display counter and again, nothing was labeled so not sure what you're getting (which could cause a line since no one knows what they choices are ahead of time). We got everything and paid at the end of the counter. So, our sandwiches were very good and the prices are pretty decent for an Aventura Mall location. However, you can only get pastries as sides to your sandwich so that was a disappointment (no fruit, chips, etc). And since it's near the entry of sliding glass doors - there were lots of flies everywhere. I am giving this place 3 stars because the service is horrific. The ladies are disorganized, no one knows what's happening at the registers. When they were boxing things they were catching pastries on the edge and wiping the edges of the boxes with paper towels but leaving the ruined pastries in there. Just watch what the are doing when you order to make sure your stuff doesn't get ruined. Aside from this, the food is authentic Italian pastry fare. The bomboloni are delicious, the finger sandwiches equally as good and so is the focaccia. The coffee is good. It's a good cup of espresso or cappuccino. If you are in the area, stop by and get something. It's definitely worth it. I honestly have had much better experiences at the rosettas on SoBe. Located a block west of famed Ocean Drive, Rosetta Bakery offers a bright and airy casual dining space that sets it apart from the crowded eateries that surround it. I had a prosciutto sandwich, heated in a press, with a cappuccino and mille foglie (Italian version of a Napoleon). The sandwich was incredible and it was as if I was transported back to Italy. However, the highlight was the mille foglie. So light and flaky...forgive the overly poetic turn, but it tasted like it was made of angel wings with layers of a cream filling that was rich and not too sweet. Heavenly! The staff were pleasant and attentive, although there was a slight language barrier. I have no complaints on that front! read more

First let me say the pastries look amazing, the presentation of all their food is beautiful! and the place is spotless- The young lady behind the counter quickly came over to assist me.. I asked, pointing to the almond pastry and asked for additional description. I asked if it was made with marzipan and a moist cake. She nodded her head and said yes in very broken English. I asked how much it was and she said $6.00. So I asked for it to stay in a plate. The cashier Massimo was very helpful I asked about the mini pastries by the register and he suggested the mini custard bigne. Which i had to also try.. he rang me up to find out the almond cake was $9.00 not $6.00. Wow! I didn't say anything I thought if it was as described it was worth it and I could take most of it home. I sat down and there were no forks or knives to cut the cake. As it turns out the Almond Cake is not a cake at all.. it is a hard crumbling tasteless cookie.. with no hint of marzipan. A big $9.00 fail! Really! It turns out the young lady doesn't speak English! She had no idea what I was saying! Really! The custard bigne was absolutely delicious! Of course I ordered the mini one! $9.00 for a tasteless cookie is unfortunately a big mistake on my part. I was treating myself . I work 3 jobs so this really hurt. I left the almond cookie/cake right on the counter and walked out. Came this past week for the first time and loved it! Didn't expect to see this lovely bakery in the Aventura mall but decided I had to try it upon seeing. The line was pretty long but nevertheless the service was great and fast. The place itself is super cute and has seating where you can relax after shopping. I ordered a tiramisu, donut, orange juice and a cappuccino. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and absolutely delicious. You can tell they used great high quality oranges. The donut was also super tasty; just the right level of cakey and airy. The tiramisu was also great, although I wish there were a bit stronger of flavors. The cappuccino was also delicious and the quality of coffee was excellent. I will say that it was relatively pricy but to be expected at the Aventura mall. Sunday Bakery Mornings at Rosetta bakery in Aventura mall! Very convenient location and absolutely delicious food, I can't wait to go back. We dragged ourselves out of bed at 9am after approx 5 hours sleep to head for breakfast at Rosetta with the extended family, and I couldn't be happier that we did! It got the day off to the best and yummiest start. Pictured: Rosetta's filled focaccia with spinach, eggs, mozzarella and Italian parmigiano reggiano. The kids of the fam also shared Rosetta's incredible Nutella signature croissant which I was allowed ONE lick of ("NOT TOO MUCH!" ), and the staff were so kind they even gave them an extra spoonful of Nutella to refill half way through! Tha Yelp Daddy cannot approve this joint. It's a joke to even say that it's Italian. Tha Yelp Daddy has been to Italy and they (the true Italians) would be pissed off to eat here. This bakery is super cute! Every time my family and I are in Aventura we usually just go to the Cheesecake Factory, but this time we wanted a quick bite to eat and this was a great spot! Ordering food is super quick with all your food options laid out for you. Ingredients look and taste super fresh. We ended up ordering some pizza slices, a sandwich, coffee, and 2 yummy desserts. Highly recommend the apple pastry! There is a cute seating area right across the counter where you order. Tables are quite small, but appropriate for a quick stop. Super adorable place in the new section of Aventura Mall. The food is delicious but its obvious that they still need to figure out their processes and cooking times. The ingredients are really whats the meal and in their case, the ingredients tasted authentic and unprocessed. Tried a few things: a slice of the tomato basil mozzarella pizza, a prosciutto sandwich, an apple cinnamon dessert thing, and a fruit tart plus some coffees. The freshness of the mozzarella and prosciutto really brought out the flavor of the items but the pizza was super cold even though i watched her try to heat it up. The sandwich bread was a bit hard, probably because it was later in the day, and the sandwich could've had more subsistence. The desserts were spectacular, both were full of flavor. Here's the thing though: The staff didn't know how to reheat food, they were not taking orders in order. For example although I waited about 3 minutes for someone to take my order, some other guy walked up and they took his order first and he took the last of the dessert I really wanted. It's very obviously disorganized, you order food with one person but coffee somewhere else, you wait for your food at the line but have to pick up coffee at a later time. It's just odd and not very clear and the girls seemed annoyed that I had ordered my coffee at the same time as my food. The prices were a bit high but not unreasonable in the area. The sitting area is super cute and different but OH SO DIRTY! There definitely needs to be either more trash cans, a better place to put dirty dishes, or more bussers because there were used mugs everywhere on the decor, the trash was over flowing, and the only busser I saw was gone for prolong periods of times. I visited this location today and was more than dissatisfied with what I saw. For one as I was waiting in line I was deciding whether I should perhaps grab an iced coffee... when I looked over at the Espresso machine the worker seemed hurried as he was making ice lattes I saw he filled them to the middle with water and ice before adding the coffee shots... so I decided to get only baked goods. Food looked good... as I was in line next to the food items there was a faux orchid plant COVERED IN DUST as if it was taken out a storage dating back into the 1800s. LOST MY APPETITE. It was already too late to cancel so I got to the register, where I was greeted by this pixie hair cut hipster. She rang me up, she flipped her screen for me to sign... she waited until I clicked on 'no tip' to look at me and say... 'THANK YOU!' I was shocked. And she left me there hanging with 3 to go items. If I could give 4.5 stars I would, but since I can only do whole stars, I have to give Rosetta a 4. I have visited the Miami location a few times and I am usually pleased by my experiences with minor exceptions. There are definitely some hits and misses on the menu, which is why I can't give Rosetta a 5 star rating. I enjoy their flatbreads, ciabatta breads, and sandwiches for the most part with some needing a hint more flavor than others. Same issue goes for their desserts. This visit we ordered a chocolate brownie, but it missed the mark by being very dry and overly rich. I have enjoyed my coffees at Rosetta with no complaint. Caution to your pocket book because Rosetta might seem like a quick grab and go stop to eat, but their prices can be quiet high depending on what you order. I would still recommend Rosetta, and clearly I enjoy it because I have been a returning customer. For some reason all your stores started putting cream cheese on most of their sandwiches. Not only is it this non-Italian but it is not something you can just remove like a slice a cheese. Cream cheese is more of a breakfast item and is a cheap product. It does not belong with mortadella or other cured meats. They used to offer Mayo packets on the side but have done away with it and now put cream cheese on everything. How about no cheese at all! read more

I struggle with this review because their food is so good, but they really need to get their fly situation under control and they also need to reinforce hygiene with staff. Pro: The young lady who served us in front was super accommodating and didn't budge when I asked for a piece of cheese pizza right off of the tray that just came out of the oven. Pro: And the fresh pizza was delicious! Con: each time I've come here, I've seen flies buzzing around the food. Con: there was a woman working behind the large glass window in the very back who apparently hasn't learned that once you pull your phone out of your pocket and start texting (even if you have a glove on), you should probably throw your glove away, wash your hands and put on a new glove a before you return back to handling the food. I saw her pull out her phone, send a text and return back to working about three times just while I was there without changing her glove or washing her hands.
