I was at Doheny Beach and needed some caffeine. I found Rosetta on Yelp so I decided to give it a try. I followed the map and it was not obvious where Rosetta was located because it is actually inside a car wash. The parking lot was full so I had to find parking along the street. It was relatively empty inside and I ordered a hot almond milk latte. My drink came out in an unbranded white cup. Diving into my drink, the latte was rich, creamy, and very smooth. Stopped by here on the drive to Escondido based on the Yelp reviews. Service was fast and friendly and coffee was very good. My only complaint is that it wasn't served very hot. I asked for extra hot and it wasn't even normal hot to me. What can I say, I like a hot coffee! I got an oat milk latte with the Cinnamon Miel syrup to go.. with $1 tip it was $8. It was just the right amount of sweetness added. I think if it was hotter I would have loved it. I still recommend it for quality and if you need it extra hot, just reiterate that! read more

Service was excellent, this is quality coffee so it wasn't super quick as he did have over the cup drip style coffee. However the small wait is worth it. read more

This place is the definition of a hidden gem. Brian is great at what he does and it's easy to tell that he takes his craft very seriously. Both my partner and I had Star Anise lattes and they were delicious. We also shared a tasty fruit tart. The location is hard to find because it's located within a car wash which we didn't realize. I'm sure it's very convenient if you need a car wash and a tasty treat! It's not far from the beach though, we took both our lattes and our pastry down to Doheny. Located inside the Car Wash! Great little coffee shop, with pastries. The area is shared with a gas station where you can get snacks and drinks as well. On our way to Knotts Berry Farm from San Diego, I really needed some coffee. I found Rosetta via yelp and was impressed with the stellar reviews. I decided to go against the wishes of my husband ("It's gonna delay the trip") but I needed coffee and I was driving. Lol. I couldn't find it at first but like others mentioned its at the car wash so I was already unimpressed but the service was incredible! Brian was friendly and charming in an unassuming way. I wish this place was closer by so I could talk to Brian on a weekly/monthly basis. That guy is so cool. Now, back to coffee. I couldn't decide between the vanilla latte or mocha. Those two are my go-tos in any new coffee shop because if they can't get the coffee right, then at least it will be sweet! Brian talked about my preferences and we decided that the vanilla latte would be the better option. Fortunately, the vanilla latte was great - not too sweet and hot - just right. I also liked that he hand pours the syrup. Service: 5/5 keep it up, Brian! Just messing around to past the time and stumbled on this coffee shop. It's located inside a car wash, who would have thought? The inside of coffee shop is pretty cute, it shares the space with the Carwash so there are some interesting stuff to look at while waiting for your coffee. There wasn't any pastries left when we were there but the coffee shop does offer it. The Aztec mocha and lavender ice latte. The mocha was really good, rich dark chocolate with a hint chipotle. Creamy and smooth with a spicy kick to it. There are tables on the outdoor patio, it seems peaceful enough, no interfering noise from the car wash. I think the owner works here as barista. Oh man what a treat! This place admittedly was a little tricky to find. It's inside the car wash lobby. At first I was a little skeptical about the reviews but figured oh well let's try it since it's very close by Doheny beach where I was camping and I am so glad I did. Let's talk about the customer service. I had a few questions about what the order and the lady taking my order was super friendly, approachable and very helpful. I had such a great time that I went back again the next day and had the pleasure of speaking with the gentleman making the coffee and had a informative and funny conversation with him. Now on to the coffee. The coffee was delicious! I ordered the lavender latte and got my girlfriend a matcha latte. The espresso was delicious in my latte and he made the latte art look effortless, I was impressed and jealous lol. I wasn't sure about this location when I arrived, but just make sure you go inside the car wash station. This cafe is inside the building. I've been on a mission to try as many new places in search of the best coffee spots. I got the lavender latte and aztec mocha. I like the different options of lattes here. The espresso wasn't well expressed (coffee flavor could've een stronger) but what really makes this place stand out are the latte flavors. I found this spot on Yelp, and I was in the area in desperate need of caffeine. I walked around the area a few times until I saw the sign that said it was inside the car wash. This set my expectations very very low. There is very limited indoor seating, but there are tables outside. Much to my surprise, my iced vanilla latte was decent ... just very light - so if there is a next time, I'll have to add a shot. As a note - the only real milk option they have is whole. I'm normally a 2% or non fat guy. They did have some of the fake milk, almond or oat or whatever, can't remember which one. This isn't a place to come hang out. This newer location is a little hidden inside a car wash but don't be fooled... it is exceptional quality and how you know it's owned by someone passionate about coffee. Very unimpressed with this whole area at Crown Valley and Niguel. From the moment you pulled in thru the drive way passed the Taco Bell, it smells horrid! The smell of raw sewage is not the first thing I want to smell when I walk into a coffee shop. Sadden this morning started this way but not coming back. I am not faulting the business for this outside issue, but if I am going to spend money at any establishment, then I would like it to be pleasant. Brian is so friendly & really knows his stuff (definitely a coffee snob which is a great thing)! My go to is an almond latte with oat milk & a cinnamon twist (SOOO GOOD!). Found this place on Yelp! while on a quick baecation getaway coming from San Diego which is only about an hour away. If lavender is your thing, run don't walk to this place! They make an amazing Lavender latte. Brew was refined, and latte art on point, love the service! If you are in the area stop by, especially if staying at the Doubletree hotel which is around the corner. Note: the coffee shop is inside of the Doheny car wash. We had a little trouble finding it but some friendly car wash staff saw us and guided us in. If you're getting your car washed you might want to go have a coffee or tea while you wait.
