This is a cute coffee shop with a clean, modern aesthetic and a relaxing atmosphere. It's actually pretty big for a coffee shop and the high ceilings accentuate that spaciousness. Very clean with plenty of seating including a kind of lounge area in the rear. They are located in a large shopping center so parking is no problem at all. Friendly staff that was working hard. I had a Flat White which was served way to hot so by the time I could drink it I discovered that the espresso was burnt. So not a great drink. However my Son had the Sparkling Peach Matcha which he found to be both tasty & refreshing. This made the drinks a mixed bag LOL I'm only giving 3Stars because my drink just wasn't good. But everything else is great. So I will give them another try next time I'm in the area and hopefully I can give them 5Stars. read more

I accidentally stumbled upon this place with one of my friends, and we were really excited to try since we found out they had just opened. I ordered a matcha latte with whole milk, and this will be my reason for the 3 stars. I was not a huge fan of the taste. It honestly tasted like I was drinking regular milk with a hint of matcha flavor. I do know that they use organic maple syrup in their drinks along with "ceremonial grade"matcha. I would just be cautious with any cafes that say this because everyone says they use it, but there are different brands and different qualities. My friend had ordered the iced chai latte, and she thought there was too much cinnamon that overpowered the chai. The service was great. The employees were nice, and we got our drinks quickly. The cafe itself is really spacious and is a great place to get work done. I would definitely come back and maybe try another drink. read more

Coffee shop or daycare? Toss up between a 3 and a 4, but since it's an independent coffee shop and has a cool vibe, I'll give it a 4. But for real: I was there opening weekend and actually had to leave because there were screaming kids inside that were out of control. It wasn't a little scream, but more of non-stop wailing. It was very hard to talk with the people I was with.. so we actually did vacate our coveted table and continued our conversation with a walk in the nearby neighborhood. Unknowingly came in on the grand opening day! Was in the shopping center a few days before and drove by it so decided to give them a try. Very cozy interior with a good amount of seating, it'll be nice to see what it is like when they are not having their grand opening day as I'm sure some seating was a little out of sorts. I got a flat white which was a good overall flavor. I would definitely come and get it again. There were quite a few people there so we did wait a while for our drinks, but again I'm sure that was the first day lots of drinks getting things figured out still. What a fun accidental find! I happened to stop by on Bird Dog Coffee's grand opening day and was so glad I did. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and a ham & cheese croissant, and both were excellent. The latte was smooth, flavorful, and not overly sweet, while the croissant was warm, flaky, and absolutely delicious. I'd recommend eating at Bird Dog instead of taking their croissants to go because they are super flaky. Beyond the food and drinks, the shop itself is adorable. The atmosphere is welcoming, thoughtfully designed, and feels like the kind of place where you could easily spend an hour catching up with a friend or getting some work done. For a brand-new coffee shop, they made a fantastic first impression. I'll definitely be back and look forward to trying more of the menu. We stopped in when running errands in the area. I didn't realize at the time that they were in their soft opening phase because the store seemed so put together! So much seating. I've been to bird dog, two times now since they've opened and I wish I could be here daily. The staff and owner have always been so courteous, kind, and patient with us (two young kids usually tagging along). We have tried: the scout - 10/10, iced espresso and iced latte: 10/10, black coffee- 10/10. I was pleasantly surprised by the black coffee today as it was smooth and perfect, does not need anything added! LOVE that she makes her own syrups. I'm typically not a sweet coffee girl but I'm down here because of that Tried their burrito today and love how it had real egg and the green salsas it comes with are legit. My toddler is obsessed with their "treats" aka their pastries, and I personally love the blueberry danish. Lastly, the vibes. Just wow. I took my best friend here on her birthday to try a new matcha in our area. Being completely honest, this was the worst matcha I've had in a while and my order was TWENTY DOLLARS for two regular-sized matchas. The barista was very sweet helping us out and recommended their most popular drink, "the scout", but as a matcha. It was a latte but with half honey syrup and half maple syrup. I didn't realize until I had paid, but they charge PER syrup in each drink? Which didn't make sense since they are only using half the amount of each....in addition to that, I am sensitive to dairy, so I had to sub one for oat milk which was another $1 (fine, I'm used to this with smaller coffee/tea shops!). Now let's talk about the matcha: for the (I'm guessing) 16 oz. cup, they only use 4g of "ceremonial" grade matcha. I have worked as a barista and specifically with tea, and know that is not enough, especially if it is a premium matcha (which I'm pretty sure it was based off the flavor). My drink is in the photo to show the color of green, which was more like a hint of green lol. My $10 matcha tasted like it was a cup of sweetened oat milk; I dumped it after only drinking half. If you like a lighter matcha you could get a cheaper one at Starbucks that tastes similar. If you want a YUMMY matcha, try FEBE or AIROMA, you'll get a larger quantity and great quality matcha for less money. I will say the environment was very clean and minimalist, which looked nice, but I wish they put the same effort in appearance towards quality of their drinks. She thoughtfully considered what I told her about my tastes, and explained why she chose the one she did. The decor is stylish without being too much. I like that they don't try to sell a bunch of tchotchkes like a lot of other smaller coffee shops do. The store is huge and spacious! A great hangout space. The coffee is amazing, the iced scout is a perfect balance of sweetness. My sister got an espresso as well cause she is a coffee enthusiast and she loved the fruitiness of the espresso. We talked to the owner and right now is there soft opening and she was telling us that she will be having different espresso soon a single origin and blend which will be the best of both worlds for people who enjoy more of a chocolate flavored of coffee!
