Coffee shop or daycare? Toss up between a 3 and a 4, but since it's an independent coffee shop and has a cool vibe, I'll give it a 4. But for real: I was there opening weekend and actually had to leave because there were screaming kids inside that were out of control. It wasn't a little scream, but more of non-stop wailing. It was very hard to talk with the people I was with.. so we actually did vacate our coveted table and continued our conversation with a walk in the nearby neighborhood. Good addition to this center - ample indoor seating. I will be back to give it another go - and hopefully the atmosphere will be a little more enjoyable. 2026: 48/100

Bird Dog, love the coffee shop name Cute logo, well inspired, pet fame Parking, done with ease Solid menu and pastry display case, easy to please Entering in, I anticipated the standard OC coffee shop cut and paste An assumption I had made with a YELP pre-judged time waste As I sat, I admired the intentionally of the design and layout The simplicity, the greens, the plants, the varied seating all done with thoughtfulness ... no doubt I ordered a matcha latte (iced), almond milk, honey half-sweet Enjoyed the background music, contented to stay in my seat The almond milk is not thick or creamy, no fluff Satisfied matcha sip preference, everyday a.m. kind of stuff To read their mission, visit the website Value alignment (why I love coffee shops) done right Overall... open, welcomingly gentle, and kind I recommend a visit for your next sip and find. xoxo -Op

Unknowingly came in on the grand opening day! Was in the shopping center a few days before and drove by it so decided to give them a try. Very cozy interior with a good amount of seating, it'll be nice to see what it is like when they are not having their grand opening day as I'm sure some seating was a little out of sorts. I got a flat white which was a good overall flavor. I would definitely come and get it again. There were quite a few people there so we did wait a while for our drinks, but again I'm sure that was the first day lots of drinks getting things figured out still. Definitely stop by and give them a try!

What a fun accidental find! I happened to stop by on Bird Dog Coffee's grand opening day and was so glad I did. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and a ham & cheese croissant, and both were excellent. The latte was smooth, flavorful, and not overly sweet, while the croissant was warm, flaky, and absolutely delicious. I'd recommend eating at Bird Dog instead of taking their croissants to go because they are super flaky. Beyond the food and drinks, the shop itself is adorable. The atmosphere is welcoming, thoughtfully designed, and feels like the kind of place where you could easily spend an hour catching up with a friend or getting some work done. For a brand-new coffee shop, they made a fantastic first impression. I'll definitely be back and look forward to trying more of the menu. Congratulations to the Bird Dog Coffee team on their grand opening!

We stopped in when running errands in the area. I didn't realize at the time that they were in their soft opening phase because the store seemed so put together! So much seating. This would be a great place to study or work. I got the scout and it was simply perfect! Everything I would want in a latte. Flavorful, but not overly sweet. I wish them much success!!

The place is nice very spacious and beautiful. The coffee, tea and ham and cheese croissant were delicious! The coffee we tried was the Kyoto Cold Brew and that was amazing! The only reason I give three stars is because the customer service.

Simple coffee shop in the same plaza as Chuck E. cheese. I only say this if you have kids and need a pick me up. The shop is not big but long in length that you can fit big groups or work here. The menu is simple and service is relatively quick. Minimalist list of coffees with a few specials. I ordered the cappuccino to try which taste decent but not one I would drive out of my way for.

One of the best hidden coffee places in Orange county. Very spacious and great study and beyond. The baristas take their time creating their masterful and flavorful coffee. Your first time there? They got you! They are very knowledgeable and will offer recommendations that won't disappoint.

I've been to bird dog, two times now since they've opened and I wish I could be here daily. The staff and owner have always been so courteous, kind, and patient with us (two young kids usually tagging along). We have tried: the scout - 10/10, iced espresso and iced latte: 10/10, black coffee- 10/10. I was pleasantly surprised by the black coffee today as it was smooth and perfect, does not need anything added! LOVE that she makes her own syrups. I'm typically not a sweet coffee girl but I'm down here because of that Tried their burrito today and love how it had real egg and the green salsas it comes with are legit. My toddler is obsessed with their "treats" aka their pastries, and I personally love the blueberry danish. Lastly, the vibes. Just wow. She did a great job envisioning this place and bringing a peace of calm and great coffee to the area. Can't wait to come work here!

HIGHLY recommend Bird Dog Coffee. The service was 10/10! The barista was so sweet and helpful and patient and kind. I wish I caught her name. She was awesome! We got a little sampler of pastries and they were all AMAZING!! I didn't get a pic of the jalapeño cream cheese croissant before devouring it, but it was excellent. The croissants are so buttery and delicious. Highly recommend! Also it's just a great spot to sit and chat or get some work done. Cute ambiance!

Lovely atmosphere and really solid matcha. I love the house made maple. It reminds me of when I lived on the east coast and often had fresh maple flavor. Pastries also yummy!

And the coffee -- the most important part -- was genuinely excellent. I ordered a flat white, and it was one of the best I've had in the States. Unfortunately, the service was a letdown. It wasn't slow (I was the only customer at the counter), but the basic courtesy and warmth you'd expect at a coffee shop were completely missing. I greeted the barista cheerfully and tried to be friendly, but you would have thought I'd offended her personally. I get that everyone has off days -- maybe I reminded her of someone she didn't like -- but the customer who came in right after me was greeted with a warm smile and a cheerful "Good morning! The usual?" My thank-yous, on the other hand, were met with grunts and glares. All in all, it wasn't the best introduction to Reborn or the most pleasant way to start my day.

The milk they use always tastes fresh, like 'farm fresh' fresh. Every time we come here, we always get slices of their delicious honey cake which has the perfect level of subtle sweetness that I prefer. I'm not big on sweet stuff. I've also tried their Eggs Benedict which tastes better when you have it for dine-in. I wouldn't recommend ordering any of their breakfast items for take-out. Wait time is reasonable for made-to-order food items. Customer service is always outstanding. Every staff member I've encountered was super sweet, friendly, and patient. The shop is small but there are plenty of tables and chairs to sit at inside. Pricey but it's always a nice treat to come here when we're in the area.

I'd even say it has more milk or cream than coffee. It had a potent infusion of something like vanilla or cardamom that I liked, but I wouldn't get it again. Baklava ($6.50): 5/5. The best item I got from Vanilla Street Bakery. Decently sweet with a lovely balance of nuts, dough layers, and infused syrup. I appreciated that it wasn't dripping in a sugary solution; it's definitely more balanced than other baklava I've had. Chocolate Chip Cookie ($5.20): 2/5. A very pillowy, cakey cookie, yet dry and crumbly. The flaky salt on top was a nice touch, but its overall taste and texture didn't deliver a satisfying chocolate chip cookie. Spinach-feta roll ($6.90): 2/5. Staff kindly warmed this up for me without asking, and it looked nice and savory. However, it was extremely dry, doughy, and bland, with hardly any feta. Too bland to enjoy for $7. Eclair ($7.50): 3/5. Chocolate topping and custard filling were good, but the dough was quite dry. Pricey, too! Staff were patient and knowledgeable. Interior has a quaint, cutesy look to it, with different types of seating available. I saw people catching up with friends, reading, or working, so it has a relaxing atmosphere for whatever you feel like doing. In short: most of the pastries unfortunately were very expensive and not worth the cost based on how dry and/or bland they were. Additionally, the highly anticipated Raf Coffee seemed interesting but ended up being too creamy for a coffee drink.
