I feel TLC was overhyped in my opinion. The location has a good parking lot, the patio area is spacious and well decorated. The little space was themed well, and friendly staff, but my mocha iced coffee fell short. It tasted as if I had it sitting out for 30 minutes and all the ice melted. If you're into shopping it opens up to a small boutique. The matcha here was good though. If you're a matcha lover, you should give this place a try.

I have been wanting to try this place!! I had their seasonal blueberry latte, their in house syrup was awesome. Everyone (staff and customers!) was friendly :) usual semi pricey, coffee shop, specialty latte prices. If in the area again, I'd come back!

Cute little coffee shop in San Juan Capistrano. The decor is very minimal, but cute, the shops sign gave me a bit of a tattoo parlor vibe. The coffee shop itself is small, and so is the menu, so there aren't a ton of options. I ordered the Fig Matcha, and the flavor was actually really yummy. I loved the little piece of fig they added on top--it gave the drink an extra touch. The employees were nice, and I was surprised to find that the coffee shop is attached to a clothing store. I wasn't expecting that, but it was fun to browse while waiting for my drink. Unfortunately, the matcha made me very sick, and I ended up with a horrible stomach ache afterward. Other than that, it's a cute spot with easy parking and a unique concept. Would I go back? Probably not, but I'm glad I gave it a try.

Great place to stop in for a quick coffee or tea to go. Small and convenient, but they don't have work space or even tables and chairs. There's a boutique next door, so grab and go or grab and shop. But you're not likely to hang out there much. Staff is friendly and the place is super cute. Definitely worth your while.

What a cute, cool, neighborhood coffee shop. The vanilla latte was tasty and creamy (not as hot as I would like). The staff were friendly and helpful. The ambiance is cozy, classic decor with outdoor seatings.

This is a really cool spot with friendly staff to get come coffee. I grabbed a hot vanilla latte which was overall decent. The milk had a bit too much air during steaming and made my latte taste more airy rather than creamy. Still an enjoyable latte and I can see why locals come here.

Such an adorable spot! Service was friendly, decor was very photogenic and cute, and the drinks were delicious and very easy to drink. We tried a hot latte and iced matcha and both were very well-balanced, smooth, and creamy. Definitely worth checking out when you're in San Juan Capistrano. Thank you for a lovely first visit!

Came here on Thanksgiving and luckily they were open. Their main coffee shop is quite small with limited seating but they have outdoor seating and an apparel side to shop at. We got their seasonal drinks which was a blackberry matcha with oatmilk and the cold brew. Both were very different and unique tasting. The matcha tasted fruity with blackberry taste and it didnt taste artificial which was great. Very refreshing! The cold brew was light and paired well with sparkling soda. A very unique combination but I'm typically not a fan of cold brew so it was not my favorite. Overall, it was a good experience with their cute aesthetic. They also have their own coffee beans for sale. The workers were friendly!

I've been eyeing True Love Coffee since they first opened and finally made my way in today. The space is super cute--the decor, vibe, and overall aesthetic are warm, stylish, and just super cute. It's definitely a spot you want to hang out in for a bit. Their menu leans more toward drip coffee than espresso drinks, but I ordered a vanilla latte and really enjoyed it. It was delicious and not overly sweet (without any modifications), though it did have a slightly sour note--maybe just the espresso profile. Still tasty overall! My husband and I also tried the smoked brisket breakfast tacos, which were very good and definitely worth ordering. Great atmosphere, good food and coffee, and such a charming place to finally check off my list.

Very small location. Not a place to sit and have coffee, just grab-and-go. Parking lot is narrow area too. Cashier was super nice and friendly. Ordered Iced Vanilla Latte with Almond Milk. It was good and light. Not bitter or strong coffee. I did add sugar substitute but that's just because I like it a little sweeter but truly does it need it. Comes in cute plastic cups too.

LOVE LOVE LOve!!! Such a hidden gem. Got a cappuccino for myself and a batch brew for my grandpa. He liked it as well. The staff was really friendly for it being 7am hahaha. Coffee wasn't too bitter it was perfect!

True Love Coffee was such a great find! We ordered a hot mocha and the special Notorious Fig Matcha -- and wow, the matcha was absolutely to die for. Perfectly balanced, smooth, and full of flavor. The mocha was rich and comforting too. Great drinks, cozy vibe, and definitely a spot we'll be coming back to!

If you're looking for a super cozy comfy coffee experience look no further. This place is super modern with an awesome little picnic grassy area that's gated for your little ones to enjoy while you sit and sip your coffee. Coffee was great, we were in a hurry and had to leave but would've loved to have stayed and camped out for a while.

I read that this is owned by a Japanese couple who has extensive knowledge and love for coffee. Tucked in a corner within a small shopping plaza by a Japanese bakery, Mameya is a micro roaster that offering coffee enthusiasts and connoisseurs an opportunity to select over a dozen raw single origin and blend beans. Excellence in every Roast. at Mameya, there is precisely. And passion to every bean. Service is great. The employees are very knowledgeable and friendly if you have any questions or inexperienced. The ambiance is intimate and rather small. There isn't a lot of space where you can sit or stand. Pros: I ordered their pour over common blend and it was solid. I also grabbed a 12oz bag of their Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Natural. It took about 20 minutes for them to complete the roasting process. After 4 days, I grinned the beans for a pour over and could tell this was already going to be a decent cup of joe. I did not see any significant bloom but the draw time was great based on my grind size. Cons: This shop is too far and too small so if there is a line and you don't have time, you might have to skip the experience. While I don't anticipate Mameya expanding, I would come back in a while.

Totally worth the walk. The shop is simple and minimalistic inside, with a clean layout and a plant right in the center that gives the space a calm, relaxed vibe. Smooth, refreshing, and perfect for sipping while sitting on the sand. The workers were friendly and easy to order from, which made the experience even better. One thing that stood out to us was their logo, two hands shaped like coming together. In sign language, that sign means "connect," so as Deaf individuals, we immediately noticed it and wondered about the meaning behind it. It made the name "Rapport" feel even more intentional. Great drinks, welcoming service, and a perfect stop before heading back to the beach. We'd definitely do that walk again.

I read that they roast coffees on site and I wouldn't doubt it! Unfortunately, while bean coffee was $23 for 200g, which is 7oz! My local roaster (Kean) would have the same price for 12oz. In their defense, they did have a massive bag that was $25. They had a bunch of great latte options, an espresso tonic, and tea options. They have pastries that looked delicious too. I was running errands and felt the need for a bit o' espresso. The small parking lot was full but I found a spot on the street. I followed the signs from the parking lot to the inside of CrossFit. Immediately to the left when I entered stood a coffee stand where I was greeted by a charming young woman who took my order - a Madagascar (basically a vanilla bean latte). They have a variety of options on their menu but that was the one that appealed to me. You can sit at one of a couple tables inside and enjoy your brew while gawking at hardbodies working out or sit outside in a small area designated for customers. I was running errands so took it on the road. It had a light vanilla flavor but was very smooth and obviously made from a very good bean roast.
