I would not recommend this dealership. Not very honest and kind of rude. I bought a car from Bill, Jr. (the son of the owner). The sticker price appeared to be a good deal, but they tack on the charges at the end and don't even give a quarter tank of gas when you leave. Besides not being very personable, he was dishonest. Tried to overcharge me by $300, which he would have done if I was not paying attention. Then, said there was a 3% credit card processing fee to pay by card. (As a business owner myself, who does plenty of credit card transactions, there is no way a dealership is paying 3% to their credit card processing company.) I was going to let that go just to get out of there, but mentioned just make sure to fill up the gas tank, which he said he would do. After everything was signed and the transaction was finished, he brought the car out with less than a quarter tank of gas and said they were "tapped out" and he couldn't put any gas in. A car dealership that doesn't have any gas? Give me a break. What a cheapskate. This is a grimy place with very little concern for their customers. I will not be back. I was helping a friend who had a very unprofessional and straight up shady experience with this dealership and a specific salesman, Brennan. She sold a car she thought was to a private party who can her a good story so she sold the car for lower than KBB or other offers bc she wanted to sell an FJ to someone who appeared to be an enthusiast. Well Brennan was only an enthusiast of being shady - he is an employee of Automaxx and ended up quickly selling the car for a profit to the dealership. The dealership has listed the car for a high price and listed details about the car that are not true. Brennan shouldn't be employed there anymore and. you absolutely should steer clear of this dealership as a whole. They have tried to "explain" the situation to justify the shady experience, but dont care about making it right or even being honest about their own listing of the FJ. We got work from someone we talked to who went on a test drive and Brennan told him they bough the car from another dealership. Lies. Stay FAR, FAR away. I sold my FJ (excellent condition) to a private buyer who actually ended Brennan, an employee and family member of the dealership. I gave him a great price as he sold himself as someone who was going to love the car as I did (my fault). I saw it for sale at Automaxx a couple of weeks later with a false description. Not only did they not disclose the issues I disclosed to him (I am an honest person), but also posted totally false information. (They said it had been garaged it's whole life...I don't even own a garage). I know all dealerships do this, but don't advertise yourself as being honest if the my entire experience with them was based in lies. Also, you have a lot of negotiating power with their pricing. They list the vehicle they bought from me for $9000 more that he paid (talked me down $3000 - again I take responsibility for my stupidity), and $4000 over high blue book. read more

Stay away from these GREEDY Rockefeller crooks!!! I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with this dealership after purchasing a 2000 Corvette. During the test drive, I noticed that the oil pressure sending unit was not working. Despite this, I agreed to pay the asking price and was given a due bill to replace the oil sending unit. After the first repair attempt, the check engine light (CEL) came back on for the knock sensors, which I had to replace at my own expense. Several weeks later, I returned the vehicle to the dealership to address the issue again. However, once I took possession of the vehicle for the second time, the CEL came on yet again. This dealership refuses to stand behind their cars or their repairs. They only accept cash, which I gave to Rockefeller. It was $400.00 and he would not let me leave until he counted it. During this meeting he Rockefeller instructed me to not text him but call him moving forward. Public records show that the Rockefellers live in a $3M home. Stay away from these bean-counting crooks and do not buy or do business with them. Save yourself the headache and find a dealership that values their customers and stands by their work. read more

All I can say is, I'm so glad I purchased my car here. I had such a great experience the day I bought my Corvette from them. The customer service was excellent. They were extremely friendly from the moment I walked in. I was honest with them and told them I wasn't completely sure I'd qualify for the car. They told me to go shopping or run some errands and they'd call me and let me know what they could do. An hour later they called and told me they could do it and to come back so I could sign papers on my dream car. The process couldn't have gone any smoother than it did. They're amazing! Very disappointed I came in a bought a used truck with a check for my company. They asked me for all my info including my ss number and I gave it all to them because I thought they need it to buy the truck. As I'm signing the paper work they had me sign a credit form showing my credit. Never did they say they would run my credit. Very dishonest very disappointed. I do not recommend this company. This place is such a low rent car dealership. They have no clue what they are doing. They totally fit the description of sleazy car salesmen just doing anything to get your business and do not care about what follows. They and I continue to use 'they' because it has been every person we have been in contact with has lacked the professionalism and knowledge to get things done. After repeatedly telling Mike our sales rep about how we needed everything sent to a mailing address since we do not receive in our unincorporated address, he insist it would all be fine. Good thing we made note of the payment date or we would have missed it. We contacted the finance company only to find out they had no knowledge of a mailing address, so our documents got returned to them. 90 days since we purchased our vehicle and the temporary tags are expired now. When we call the DMV they have no record of anything ever being submitted. We all know the DMV is not a place you get out of quickly. After contacting the dealership AGAIN, they somehow forgot to mention they we missing a form from the previous owner and had to resubmit the paperwork. How uncouth of them to not even inform us of any delay. Once we finally received our registration is was a month away from being expired. read more

Let me first by saying. These guys are scumbags specifically Bill the owner. They sold a 2015 Silverado that had issues. 20 days after the purchase I had a complete blackout in my system. In the middle of no where with my two kids, wife, and dog. I had to have it towed where to the nearest dealer which was 39 miles away. I contacted automaxx and they told me I should've brought it there. I got it repaired at a cost of just under $5k. Bill said he would try to help but instead he sent my truck to another dealer to fix the issue after it had already been fixed minus 1 thing. Well Bill told the other dealer I fried the system by jumping the truck backward. The problem is I never tried to jump the truck. But the alternator, starter, starter cable, fusible link, and blower motor blew out. Bill and his team were no help at all what so ever didn't help in the slightest they are pieces of garbage I would t recommend anyone to purchase from them. read more

Sold a vehicle with a bad tranny. Truck driven under 2000 miles and had to take it to a shop to have it looked at. The shop said the transmission fluid look like dirty motor oil it was so dark. When we contacted the dealership they claimed that they personally look over each vehicle and there was no way that the truck would pass smog if something was wrong with the transmission. How does that make any sense? The vehicle had many stored codes that have been cleared. BILL the owner was very rude so were his family members that worked for him they just laughed after the fact that the vehicle was sold and we were reaching out for some sort of help since they sold the vehicle this way. I would give a negative 5 stars if I could. We traded a car into them in 4-25-2016 and they never submitted the paperwork for change of owner. Last month, I started getting Fastrak fines for violations on the car. I called Automat, they took my number and never called me back. Yesterday, I received another Fastrak violation. So, they've done absolutely nothing to help me. Luckily a friend told me I could go online with the DMV and file a notice of transfer of liability. What a joke of a dealership! I was interested in a vehicle at this dealership and sales guy was definitely more professional than the management team at this dealership. I was going to trade in a motorcycle that booked at $6400 plus it had another $3800 of extras they would only give me a trade in value of $3500 ok I get it not a motorcycle dealership. So being in the market for a Toyota the truck at the dealerships booked @ $8700 -10 k but we're stuck on a $13988 price point. So I said ok here's the deal If you guys can mark up a Toyota that much I will trade in my Toyota what's my trade in value if you can give me a value on my motorcycle over the phone why couldn't you give me a trade in value for my Toyota? They wanted me to drive 5 hrs to rip me off over on trade in and waste my time I will never do business with this company. I had been warned by friends in the area about this dealership but I figured I would give them a shot I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP! At times, I wish it was possible for negative stars! Avoid the service/repair side if at all possible. We were regular customers for oil changes. Even had some other stuff done there. Located conveniently, priced well and a decent waiting area.. yada, yada, yada.... Out and about, and needing an oil change, we stopped into another shop. They found that Automaxx wedged in a different oil drain plug that was completely imcompatible with my car. While a simple repair was accomplished, we were borderling needint to replace the whole oil pan! Wanting to give Automaxx the benefit of the doubt, I couldn't as the past four or five oil changes were there. Hmmmm....... We are not talking about complex repairs; they knowingly botched a simple oil change to the coint where it could have cost me several hundred dollars. A lost oil drain plug, while a headache, costs no more than ten bucks. When I called to further discuss, there was no return call after three messages. read more

This place is AWFUL. I have not had a good experience with Automaxx. Howard was our salesman. The truck we purchased in November began having mechanical problems a month after we bought it, and had a check engine light on. We have taken it to several mechanics that cant determine the exact problem with the car, we did make repairs but none of the repairs have fully fixed the problem. We are in the hole for about $1,200 and the truck is still not reliable or running right (had spark plugs replaced, told the injectors needed to be replaced and that the head gasket has a leak!!!!) I dont know how you sell a car that has a head gasket going out? As a last effort I called Automaxx and they agreed over the phone to test the truck in their shop and not charge us. Well once we arrived we were treated completely different. We were treated poorly the owner completely questioned our story acting as if we were lying about the truck having problems. Not once did anyone apologize or act concerned but customer service is there number #1 priority? You would think we would be treated better as we gave them our business. I never received a call back about the truck and once I spoke to Automaxx they told me that nothing is wrong with the car! And that they drove the car around and its running great (complete LIE!!!). I don't believe they even ever tested the truck. Funny how other shops have recognized something is wrong with the truck, but Automaxx cant? They only agreed to look at the truck to shut me up. And all they did was start the truck and call it good. I did ask to receive the report from the tests they ran on the truck. Surprise, surprise I haven't received anything. I suggest not going here or having your car repaired here - I wouldn't trust them or their service department. Very dissatisfied with the way they have treated our situation. read more

We went on a test drive and Max answered all our questions (and my husband had a lot of questions) He was very informative about the truck and all its "bells and whistles" that was really great, when Max didn't know the answer, he said so and he went to find out the answer. He didn't give us any run around. I bought a 1999 Chevy Silverado LS 4x4 from these guys last weekend. Mike was super friendly and really knew his stuff. Howard was working and helping with the sale and also easy to work with. 4 days after buying the truck, I realized the parking break wasn't functional. I called them and even though I bought a used truck "as is", Howard told me to bring it into their shop. Bryan, their service guy had the brake repaired in under half an hour and there was no charge for the repair. The truck only has 80,000 miles on it and drives like new. They have an incredible selection of low mileage used vehicles and even though they're charging top dollar for them, it's clear these guys are super selective on what vehicles they choose to put on their lot. I hauled my first loads of concrete in the truck last week and she purred all the way! I also took my first trip up to Lake Tahoe a few days ago and the truck performed brilliantly! We often have concerns buying a vehicle from a dealer that isn't off a lot from one of the manufacturers of vehicles, but these guys are definitely one I would trust to buy another vehicle from in the future.
