Because of oncoming traffic, I could not swerve, or because of the car behind me- stop safely. I hit it and heard the crunching tearing sound. Mercifully, the car behind me stopped. I had to back out to get this giant chunk out of the bottom of my car. In the moment I should've pulled over, but I asked Siri for the closest repair shop. This was Steve and Jerry's. At this point I prayed for help. I was petrified. I spoke to a sweet woman who said she was going to go chat with her son in law. My car died a minute from their shop. He chatted with me briefly and said he would be right over. He walked over in the rain. As he looked- his expression was grim. It seems this chunk tore the radiator and compressor, and he wasn't sure about the engine. The cars check engine light was on. My tow driver towed it over. He had a longer look and came in to chat with me. This was pretty massive. He felt it needed to go to the dealer, and told me to file an insurance claim. I started the process in the waiting area and soon I had a plan in place. Not only did the technician offer to drive me back to my home (I had a friend coming), but his mom in law kept the store open until my friend arrived, keeping me warm instead of standing out in the cold. I did request to pay for the detailed assessment, and I did so. Can you say over and above? I don't know many places that would do this. Even though the damage was beyond their means (because it was pretty catastrophic needing a dealer's help), they still made sure I wasn't left literally out in the cold. I can just imagine how their regular customers are treated, I was new to them! The office Goddess informed me they'd been around for 54 years. I can certainly see why. Her husband took great pride in his service (he's been departed a decade or so) and the business remains in their family. What great, kind people I ran into today. I would recommend this business wholeheartedly. On a cold, rainy, horribly gone wrong and not so funny April Fool's Day- I met a couple angels that gave me hope. I took my vehicle in because my exhaust system was no longer quiet and wanted an inspection. I was told my vehicle required 2 new resonators and agreed to have the repair performed, however when I went to pick up my vehicle the SERVICE ENGINE SOON light was NOW on. I called and told them of the problem and was asked to bring it back the following morning which I did. I received a call phone from the business staing18 codes were revealed during the diagnostic, something they should have known prior to calling me the day before saying my vehicle was repaired and was told the service engine soon light was probably due to carbon build up from the welding that was performed and should go away after driving it for a bit. I immediately took my car elsewhere to have a diagnostic performed and it revealed that the oxygen sensor had failed (the technician at Mr. Muffler stated he had cleaned the oxygen sensor but in reality, damaged it). I am disappointed that given the opportunity to demonstrate some degree of integrity they did NOTHING to resolve the issue they created. I then had to take my vehicle in for service at a very reputable service center and have the problem resolved, which is what I should done initially. I surely will not make that mistake again. Having been a long-term customer, I am very, very disappointed.

I can confidently say that after visiting the Chardon branch yesterday, I have full faith that every single 5-star review is well-deserved and accurate. I visited Reel's Auto to purchase a 2016 Ford F-150 from Micheal Ostello. He was more than gracious to me and my wife, answering any questions I had about the truck. He allowed me to take the truck for a few hours up to a Ford dealership so I could pay for my own inspection. When I came back and made a reasonable offer, Micheal and Dan did not hesitate to accept it and start the paperwork process to get me approved for a loan. Before I left, Micheal made sure to fill up the gas tank (about $100 in value) and program a second key fob for me (another $400 in value). I could not ask for better treatment from a dealership, going above and beyond to make sure my needs were met. My favorite part of visiting this dealership is that it is owned and operated by veterans who genuinely care about and give back to the community. Everyone who works here are down-to-earth and more than willing to sit down and just have a normal conversation about anything as opposed to the stereotypical auto salesman who simply wants to buy and sell at a profit. From my experience, this organization is one of the most genuine businesses I have ever had the pleasure to work with, and will most definitely be coming back for any future vehicle needs and recommending them to anyone else.

Ok so this garage is a scam, i had them do all my repairs on my 2005 silverado and 2010 jeep…read morecommander, they replaced my jeeps motor, after saying i would get a rebuild from a company they said they could get the whole thing for $200 less, now im thinking ok now i dont have to pay to have all th parts moved over make it cheaper then buying a block and heads from reman company, nope they got exactly what i was going to get but only used with 100k miles on it, and i had to pay out for new starter which mine worked fine, and new water pump, again worked fine. i figured they had to cos of warranty for the motor, nope. so my $5200 quote to do what i wanted turned into a 100k motor used and untested and total was $7000 instead. we wont go into all teh breaks and other repairs they claim to have done and charged me for on this and the truck, well stick with motor, now i have had constant issues with jeep they replaced my alternator for free cos they had a used one to put on since i paid out the ass for the engine they scammed me on to be "nice" hahahaha. so anyway long story short still having problems over a year later, moved to pittsburgh area got a family trust mechanic shop to look at it, #1 most of the bolt from tranny to motor missing why i was always having a jump when shiting into gear, the flywheel cover plate and all the bolts for that missing, i had them go over leaks s&s claimed they did i had them go over the whole jeep, so far i spent another $3k fixing the issues they caused or claimed to h ave fixed, so for a $5200 quote to $10 grand so far and im still not done. im pretty sure most his regualrs might get good treatment cos they give good reveiws but they really are lazy garbage men pretending to be auto workers. i left a reveiw once so this is an updated to that one to things that have been found they screwed up and or didnt do, and the fact im still trying to work out all the little kinks they caused, oh fyi they yanked on my ac lines and causes a leak in my coolant system on the lines going to rear ac and never put a gasket on the ac connection on compresor they yanked out to replace motor let alone never tried to charge the ac system which worked perfect before they got it. i miss my ice box ac in the jeep after they gave it back. they are really poor mechanics i dont think they qualify to be called mechanics at this point and i would love to take them to court but yea court costs alone would eat up any winnings and they know it why they give shit service.
