I don't like giving negative reviews, but I don't think I've ever walked out of a place so unhappy. I went there to get nails for my 30th birthday and I wanted ombré nails. I figured I'll do acrylic because it would be easier to do than another way. The lady suggested Gel X and I said can you do ombré nails that way and she said yes. She in fact couldn't. I first told her I wanted shorter nails. She was like which nail and I said all of them. She gave them a quick file and I thought maybe she'd shorten them later in the process. She started painting my nails and I said to her before you get any further can you please shorten my nails they are too long I type a lot and prefer them shorter. She then got mad at me rolled her eyes started saying you should have said sooner (which I did, but she didn't listen). She barely filed my nails they are extremely rough and sharp and once she shortened them I didn't complain about how they were filed because she was already irritated at me however they weren't shaped at all and were very uneven. Then came the ombré part she tried to do it with a eyeshadow type powder and she couldn't do it. It didn't look anything like I requested so I told her that and she tried three other methods and the color wasn't sticking so she had to call a few other people. She filed down what wasn't right and then they painted over them with airbrush but left the nail powder making it lumpy and uneven and looked more like splatter paint than a gradient finish. When I tried to explain why I didn't like it you could see her getting visibly upset at me. I asked her to clean it up some and she got mad and wiped the excess splatter haphazardly and it just turned into smear marks. She kept trying to do the airbrush but she was struggling with it and was huffing and making faces showing her irritation. Had I know she was going to have this much issue with the Gel X I would have just done acrylic. Eventually she called over who I assume was the owner and he tried to fix it. I will say he did a better job than she did in the paint application but the nails were still poorly shaped, not buffed, filed or anything but at that point I was done trying to explain why I was upset. Unfortunately when I'm upset I cry so I started crying in the chair. My nails didn't turn out anything like I wanted, I was given a lot of attitude and the lady was being short with me. Then when I explained to the owner what had happened he brought her over and she tried telling him that she wasn't being short or rude to me and he told me what she said, He said, "I misunderstood her" to which I told him I am not stupid I saw how she was speaking to me and her body language. I was kind each time I made a request and it was returned with attitude. At the end of it my nails don't look close to what I wanted. I was charged $157 for a pedicure (which by the way I got cut and was rushed through) and set of nails that are poorly done, sharp and a disappointment. I am now going to find another shop that will fix them. I just wanted to have my nails look nice for my birthday but instead I left in tears trying to explain my frustration and being gaslit into being told I misunderstood her that she wasn't being rude. Update: I went to another salon to fix them and they were astonished at the quality of the nails. Said they were too thick, not shaped, very sharp and too much glue. I asked if they could just do a complete new set since I want nice nails for my birthday and they said it would damage my nails too badly to do that and they would salvage my nails the best they could. read more

do not go here. they drilled straight into my natural nail and blamed me for it- this was their response: "Response from the owner 19 hours ago Hello Lenna, When a set has excessive lifting, all lifted product must be removed before a refill can be performed properly. In these situations, we often recommend a new set rather than a refill. We also recommend scheduling fills before lifting becomes significant, as excessive lifting requires additional filing and cleaning, which can sometimes cause temporary sensitivity" CRAZY!!! read more

I had a good pedicure here last week so I assumed the manicure would match that quality. I was wrong. They drilled off my old gel, I prefer a soak to preserve my natural nail. The polish was done too thick and it's missing in spots on the side. Great place, clean, friendly, but the quality of this mid manicure is so poor that I won't be back. I went to Rosewood to get my nails done with my mom as a belated birthday gift/for an upcoming family trip. I type a lot for work so I opted for regular manicure gel. Erina did my nails and OMG--she executed my vision perfectly! I love the art and the appliques. So cute! She was very patient as I figured out on the color combos and charms that I wanted. I adore these! I am so so happy with this manicure and I highly recommend Rosewood. The shop itself is beautiful and clean. I will be back, and recommend that friends come here as well! read more

I wanted to love this set because the color is gorgeous, but the overall quality was disappointing. The shape and structure were inconsistent, and the nails began lifting and catching in my hair much sooner than expected. I tried to live with them, but the lifting has gotten to the point where I need to have them redone. Having to pay for another nail appointment so soon after this one is frustrating. Based on my experience, the workmanship and durability did not justify the price. read more

I do not recommend this place. I got manicure and pedicure done but they did not do a good job. My nail cuticle did not even get pushed so i had to do it again myself when I got home. I got my toenails painted but the nail polish smeared on my big toe and the manicurist for my big toe is very rude young girl. She shouldn't be doing that if she doesn't want to be friendly with the customers or not show her rudeness. She seems irritated just by asking her some question! read more

I never leave negative reviews, but the nail tech removing my gel acrylics burned me three times. After the third instance, I actually got up to leave, but she begged me to stay, saying, "I'll be careful! I'll be careful!" Why wasn't she careful the first three times? I let her finish my nails and paid for the service, but I won't be back. Update: With all due respect, minimizing a client's experience of being burned repeatedly as a "brief hot sensation" dismisses a genuine health and safety concern. I did let the nail tech know each time I was burned; it was only after three burns that I got up to leave. I am posting this feedback honestly with the hope that this salon reviews and adjusts its procedures so future clients do not have this experience. read more

Visited Rosswood Nails and Spa with my daughter for pedicures. The front desk service was very good--very welcoming and polite. The prices are pretty average for the area. I paid extra to get a longer massage with the pedicure, but honestly, the massage was just okay. Overall, it was a decent experience and a nice treat with my daughter, but the extra massage didn't quite live up to the extra cost. read more

Friendly service and quality work! So far I've been with Andy and Cindy, they're both lovely and do a wonderful pedicure. The spa is clean and calming. I get their most basic pedicure service with gel and chrome, and it comes out to ~$64 not including tip. Overall a decently priced, luxurious feeling, and friendly spot! read more

Wanted to try out the New nail salon in the area but I feel it's very overpriced. Got the l$Luxury Spa Pedicure which the regular price is $58 but because of the promo cost $44 plus $2 service fee for using credit card. The service was 45 minutes which is how much a normal pedicure usually takes. So right here I feel is where the service lacked I feel since it's a luxury pedicure it should have been longer. This means a normal pedicure here would only be like 30 minutes. As it's a new salon the people are nice, came to ask if I wanted something to drink. I asked my lady that I want a color something matching my hands but she just handed me the nail chart. ( I mean I can pick from that too but as she's a nail technician, I thought her advice would be better) The salon is beautiful and massive. The front desk people are nice. Would love to come to a salon that is close to the house but not for the high price. On a normal day it would be $58 plus tip plus $2 service fee hmmm not sure about that. I got the gel x with extensions from Cindy and my nails turned out so amazing! The salon was super nice, too, and they offered complimentary drinks such as water, soda, or a mimosa.
