We had an amazing experience at Rosie's Diner this morning! The food was phenomenal, service was super fast, and our waitress, Kristina was so incredibly friendly and sweet. She helped us start our day on the right track! We would highly recommend this place!

It's a diner which brings nostalgic memories. Quite a crowd during the weekend lunch time. A lot of to go orders being filled as well. We sat at the counter as there was a long wait for a table. And we could watch the 'action' as well of the kitchen line cooks and servers fulfilling the orders. The portions are large we could see. There was a Southwest chicken salad served in a fried flour tortilla shell which looked intriguing. I would have ordered this but I decided to try the fish and chips instead. He chose the turkey pesto croissant sandwich without the alfalfa sprouts. I also ordered a chocolate milkshake because why not? I'm at a diner and milkshakes scream diner to me. You can make it a malt for an extra charge. I still don't know what the difference between a shake and malt is taste wise. The fish and chips had three large pieces of slender fish and some fries. His sandwich came with a huge pile of fries and he commented that they gave him some of mine. The fish and chips were average. Nothing which would make me come back but it was a filling lunch. I didn't eat all of it. Took the rest to go with his fries. He said his sandwich was fine. Nothing special. The servers were friendly. Yinneth was our server and she checked on us. The servers take turns bringing the food to help each other out and all were nice. The chocolate milkshake came with whipped cream and sprinkles and is the stuff of movies. So cute and yummy. I did enjoy it a lot and took some to go instead of wasting it. The women's restroom was clean and large. A little deceiving when you head to it. The private parking lot is small and we parked in the adjoining shared parking lot. A solid place for lunch on our road trip.

We've visited this spot twice now, and we've loved it both times. It's never overcrowded, our food always comes out quickly, and the portions are generous with great prices to match. The classic diner vibe and fun décor make it even better!

We stopped here to fuel up on our way to the Manitou Incline and it was perfect. The scrambled eggs were perfectly done and I liked that the hashbrowns could be substituted for cottage cheese or fruit. The banana walnut pancakes were good too. The classic diner atmosphere was very cute and made us want to come back. Service was also very friendly and quick.

Great prices and a 1950's feel. I got a breakfast burrito that had pork green chile sauce, egg, sausage, cheese...it was all very good and enough to fill me up. The shamrock shake was also a big hit. This place is like the holy grail of Monument. Amidst the small mountain town at the foot of the Rockies sits Rosie's. A true cliche in the form of diners. If this was on Triple D it would be the truest diner you've ever seen. Complete with little juke boxes on the tables. Daily specials are consistent. The waitresses and front of house seem to know most everyone on a first name basis. They spin their own shakes. Cmon this place is legit! You can see the kitchen staff busily working to prepare everyone's offerings to completion with the stereotypical 'DING'. My own plight is, as a diner, it is pretty pricey. You aren't getting out of there without a lighter purse/wallet. At any rate, if you're passing through def stop!! Bon appetite!

So great!!! Popped in here with my family last week and we loved it! Giant portions so definitely worth the price. Milkshakes are amazing and my mom LOVED the cheesecake. She said it was the best she had ever eaten! So cute and loved the theme. We also had an amazing server, I can't recall his name but he said he had been there for 16 years! Very attentive and knew a lot about the history of the diner! I will be back!!!!

All Americana! It's the diner that you only see in movies now. Retro to the R! One of the breakfast places that open early. It's the basic. You don't come here for fancy or trendy stuff. You come here for sustenance. You leave almost happy and fed as we did a bit rushed! Staff were on top of it but a tad in a rush to get you started and going. Hurry up and wait! The very tall male staff that helped us had a date with Peggy Sue that I decided to forego my asking him about my beverage choices and went for water instead. The man had a date! Who am I to delay him? Anyways, I had the Corned Beef Hash with a +1 of a two stack pancake! Two eggs over medium and water.‍ The food is very average. The pancake especially had nothing special to it. Dry.dry.dry. Even with syrup poured all over it.( yeah cos that's how I roll. I pile them on). They got the eggs almost right. The hash is promising. Top side cooked and tasty. The corned beef? Canned. Big order. Will I be back? Why not? One annoyance doesn't and won't distract me. Although this place is going to be on my mental list of the last place I will go since there are many other choices around. C'est la vie!

If you like diner food then this is the Mecca! Great service, great food, good prices and big helpings. On the way to Colorado Springs for the day we came here for breakfast from Centennial. Took about 40 minutes to get there. We were all nice and hungry! They have so many options you can get anything off the menu all day. The meatloaf sandwich was a favorite of my son. The gravy was rich and delish. There is plenty of parking and the bathrooms are nice and clean. It's an easy on off freeway spot so make sure to try it if your traveling on I25.

This place was average... nothing special about the food in fact a bit disappointing. The burger was unseasoned and flavorless,the bread on the reuben was too thick, chicken nuggets seemed store bought from frozen section. There were also limited gluten free options and no gluten free bread was available. The atmosphere and vibe of the place was the most exciting aspect of Rosie's Diner. The people were very nice though and there was a military discount as well. read more

I love Rosie's Diner soo much! The staff was very nice to my family and I. They follow covid guidelines. and keep the place clean. I love the one in a life time feeling of a diner like that. I I got the "All American Classic" burger, very good! My friend got the Chicken Tenders Diner and was enough for her to even share with me! The prices are a little high but totally worth every penny. I also got the oreo shake when we finished, also very good. They work very hard! I recommend this restaurant. Cant wait to go back and try some more of their food! read more

What a Gem Stopped here with a friend for the first time, and was very pleasantly surprised. The place was packed and bustling. I was so glad to see this despite the pandemic, but they were following all the appropriate precautions given the state of things. We we're seated immediately and our waitress greeted us with a great smile and got our drinks to us quickly. I ordered the hot pastrami sandwich with fries and my friend with me ordered the Memphis Burger with fries and onion rings. The food came out quickly and it was all hot and delicious. The service was excellent and the portions were huge for both sandwiches and sides. The prices were good considering how all restaurants costs have exploded lately. The owners were moving all around the restaurant the whole time we were there, and tag-teaming at the register. Fantastic folks, which is why we could understand our excellent experience. Now we have found our new favorite place to eat in Monument. read more

When we first moved to Monument, Rosie's diner was fantastic. It was a staple for us because we didn't have anything in our house. Staff is friendly. The milkshakes are amazing. The chocolate cake is homemade. And the burgers are great! read more

Rosie's is a pretty good burger joint. I ordered the blue bacon burger and the blue cheese was mild. I definitely prefer a stronger blue cheese. The fries were a little tough. The place where Rosie's shines are their shakes. They were rather divine!!!! And you can mix any of their flavors together! Yum! read more

They have really good food here!! We usually stick to the burgers and shakes. The Hawaiian burger are my boyfriends kids favorite. The shakes are always yummy. I ordered a chocolate cherry and it could have used more cherry but all around it was delicious. read more

Every time we dine at Rosie's, we feel like we are welcome. Not just as a customer, but as a friend. We had thr most enjoyable breakfast on hubby's birthday. Nancy not only made sure my request for extra crispy bacon was honored, but she brought the team over to sing to the birthday boy. Now, we ask to sit in Nancy's section as she is so much fun. I really like Rosie's Diner and usually stop in for a visit whenever I visit The area. My sister swears by their Breakfast burrito which would probably feed two. I normally get one of their skillets which I really enjoy. Rosies is decorated like a 50's Diner and is a enjoyable place to spend some time. Great place to eat if your in Monument, CO. read more

On my drive home from the Denver airport, we came by for dinner. I got a burger and chili cheese fries and it wasn't great, but my kid enjoyed his shake. Decided to give it a second try today for lunch with my family. I ordered the Oriental salad and a diet coke, my kid got chicken nuggets, my husband a omelette, my mother in law the taco salad, my father in law the open turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. I actually really liked my salad. It was better than the burger n fries I got last time. Everyone enjoyed their food. My last visit was probably 2-3 stars, but today was better and worth 4. One suggestion is to put beans not just on the outside of the taco salad, but on the inside too. read more

You can't come to Monument and not grab some food at this iconic, amazing place. This isn't your average diner, better food, better service, better restaurant. Our family came in some time back on our way to Canon City. I usually bring a mug since I don't like drinking my entire beverage during dinner, taking the remainder with me when I leave. We were told no none can bring a mug in the restaurant - I've never had this happen in all the restaurants I've been to! As a result we went to another restaurant. Would love to have been able to provide a detailed review however I have been sitting in this restaurant for 45 minutes waiting for my meal. Bobbie was absolutely rude and unapologetic for forgetting to put in our order and stated 'we're really busy' as the reason for every table around us to receive their meals even after they were seated after our small party of three. Rosie's is a good diner and reminded me of being at home back in the north east. I had the opportunity to eat here for lunch while I am out in Colorado for business. I had a monte cristo sandwich with fries for lunch and I had the egg nog milkshake. Can anyone say delectable!? The milkshake was rich and flavorful and the monte cristo sandwich was battered ever so slightly creating a great texture that wasn't too heavy. I would definitely consider eating here again if I ever have the opportunity to come back out to CO. read more

This is a chain diner, not an AUTHENTIC SHINY DINER, so if you are a purist this may not be for you. But for me, who can never live close enough to an authentic dining car, this is good enough. I was stoked that they took reservations for our group on the weekend. The staff is not allowed but they did let me talk to the manager which was SUPER nice and took my reservations with no problem. The service was very welcoming and friendly, the diner does look super cute and super vintage, and the food is good fast food. The shakes are their signature and they let you split it if you like (one is enough for 2 people). I will certainly come back again and again! read more

While on our way to the Air Force Academy early in the AM and being real hungry we found a great place to stop and sample the local eats. Rosie's was great in that it was full but not crowed. We were there on a Saturday and the service was very very slow. Our server had a definite attitude and wasn't friendly. He took our beverage order and brought us our ice cold beers and didn't come back for over ten minutes to take our order. We asked for more salsa and he brought more back and he asked if we wanted more chips. In the time between reviews, we have visited the restaurant at least four-five times and have recommended to friends and family. Each time we knew we would be charged for the extra salsa and never have been charged for chips too! What made this visit even worse was he brought the tacos out with maybe two slices of red onion for three tacos. We asked for more garnish and he brought us a bowl and preceded to charge us $2.00? Yikes. Anyways not sure if and when we will go back. Service is half the experience and we have never had this issue when the owners are in the restaurant. Hope they fix the issue soon as there is another local restaurant that has had issues and their scores on yelp keep dropping...

I've been here several times, and the food has almost always been great. Their malts are REALLY good and HUGE! One shake/malt is big enough for 2 people. The only thing I don't like is that every single time I've been there, they have taken a long time to get us our food. Even when it's been pretty empty, it takes forever. I still go from time to time, but I can't go with the little kids because they get too impatient. read more
