Generally, I don't care for restaurants green chili, but it was very good here. The service was excellent. They always kept an eye on us for refilling our drinks and coffee. This place reminds me of a little retro diner. It is absolutely wonderful, and I look forward to coming back.

We've been looking for a no-frills old school diner and this is certainly it. We can't wait to go back. Crispy has browns, runny eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon that you can order "medium or crispy"--what more can ya want? Also, especially for being an old school diner, it's clean (as are the bathrooms) which I appreciate.

An absolute hole in the wall fortunate find, suggested by a long-time employee in the industrial complex a street over. Sheldon's has been here 47 years and none of us working literally a block away knew. The best description I have of this place is "your grandma's cooking," and that's definitely a positive review coming from me. This place was the perfect diner-esque food without being greasy. I ordered your regular tuna sandwich, toasted bread, with macaroni salad, and it was a light but filling meal, which left room for homemade pie. Get your apple pie warmed up a la mode, it was absolutely the right choice. This affordable stop is a great, classic visit for the Springs, and while it seems to cater to a little older of a crowd, any age would definitely enjoy it. 4 stars for wonderful service and solid food, it's just nothing fancy or innovative.

    Little burger and fries, yummyyyyyyu!!!

One of the worst breakfast places in town. Service was good, but the food is blah. Many better options.

Great local diner, delicious! And large portions. I tried the tuna melt and it was one of the best I've ever had.

Not bad at all, also not the same. The burger was kind of dry and almost seemed reheated, which is not at all the norm. I was so excited to have a location nearer to me. I love Skirted Heifers and will continue to enjoy the downtown location.

So I grabbed a seat at the stickiest table I think I've ever sat at in my life. After waiting for about 15 minutes and never hearing my name, I noticed a guy walked up to the counter and was handed a black bag. Next to the bag they handed him sat another black bag. I wonder if that's mine, I thought. So I walked back up to the order pickup area and asked they guy, "Did you call my name, Barry?" He checked all the tickets lined up and said to me in the most smug tone he could muster, "Dude, I don't have anyone named Barry". And then just went back to doing whatever. I said, "Hey man, do you not remember? I was just up here looking for my ToGo order. You told me you guys were ba..." and he cut me off and goes, "Oh ToGo?" And then walks over to the black bag that was sitting there and goes, "Barry?" I nod, and he snatched the back up and slings it on the counter and goes back to doing whatever. I said, "Hey man, how long has it been sitting there?" He smugly replied (as if I was a burden) "probably like five minutes" When I asked how come he didn't call me he just ignored me. He just turned around and went back to doing whatever, totally ignoring me.I said, "Look man, I don't want to get back to my hotel (about 10 minutes away) and my food be cold." He just looked at me and shrugged and went back to ignoring me, as if I was a burden to him and the store. I said "hey man, I think it's BS you're ignoring me" to which he just turned around and walked away. Honestly he's lucky I didn't pull him across the counter and teach him some manners, because his momma obviously didn't. Also, the food sucked. But I'm not sure if it was because, and as I suspected, when I got back to the hotel both burgers and the fries were cold. It was so bad we didn't even eat it. We just threw it away. An absolute waste of $40 (and if I'm being honest, I'm not even sure if hot the food would be worth those prices). Any way this place sucks and I hope and bunch of terrible stuff happens to that dude.

The crew was awesome and it's always cool to me to see how hands-on every single person on the staff is. I was super hungry so I ordered the Niçoise salad which was perfect. The vinaigrette they have is flavorful and I would put it on anything. Since I've been on a ramen kick lately I had to have the wabi-sabi ramen which I highly recommend to everyone. Drinks! Shuga's is avant-garde dining, with a menu of all different kind of items that somehow still co-exist without sacrificing flavor, but still shows love to that menu item's traditional style. I was obsessed with the eclectic vibe both inside and on their patio. The weather was beautiful so we took advantage of the outdoor seating. The menu featured some delicious and unique items. I opted for the bruschetta & soup combo. The coconut shrimp soup was my absolutely fave! So so good! The bruschetta were hit or miss for me, I liked the goat cheese with grape but the salmon I wish had more flavor. Overall we enjoyed the meal & some great lattes too! An awesome spot to start the morning at.

3 stars. Stopped in…read morearound 6:00 on a Tuesday evening. We were really craving breakfast food and drinks, and this place met all the criteria. The restaurant itself is in an older building, but there's a ton of seating up front and even more in the back -- it's pretty large once you walk through and see how big it is, so getting a table shouldn't be an issue. There's also reserved parking behind the building, so if you don't see anything on the street, head around back. Service was fast and friendly, and our waiter did a great job. French toast -- my wife's pick. She said it was solid -- probably not the best she's ever had, but good. Pancakes -- came out hot, fluffy, fresh, and very large. Probably eight or nine inches in diameter. Two eggs over hash (+ country gravy) -- super good. I'd recommend adding the gravy to your hash, or getting it on the side so you can add a little at a time -- it's pretty heavy and dense, and there was enough of it that I had to sift through to get to my hash and eggs. Heads up: I underestimated how large their plates are. Once all the food came out, it was clear we weren't finishing it. Coffee drinks -- the biggest letdown of the evening. My wife got her regular cappuccino and couldn't even finish it. I ordered an iced coffee drink with whiskey and Kahlúa in it, and it just wasn't good -- I don't know what the balance was supposed to be, but I'd 100% not order it again. They have a lot of alcoholic coffee drinks on the menu and I sifted through them thinking this one looked like the best of the bunch. Would not recommend it. The other thing was karaoke night. I enjoy karaoke, but I wasn't expecting it -- it wasn't going when we sat down and started up about thirty minutes later, and we were fairly close to the singers. It was loud, and karaoke talent is always hit or miss. This was mostly a miss. Not what we were in the mood for at that moment. Pro tip: Come for the breakfast, skip the coffee drinks -- and know that a weeknight evening might land you in the middle of karaoke. In general, this is a great place to go for breakfast, and I'd highly recommend it for that. I'd return if I wanted a nice breakfast meal, morning or evening.
