Had ordered the artichoke spinach dip that came with rock hard pita chips that could break concrete! No problem, we'll eat the celery & carrots that also came with it. NEGATIVE! Carrots were so dried out they were cracking, and the celery was rotted! So much for the appetizer! They offered to remake the steaks, comped the appetizer & offered us free dessert. Round 2...steaks were AGAIN cooked well done! This was a re-do so one would think extra effort would have been made...NOT! It was Saturday evening and by the time we had sat down to eat again it was 9:00. Called them back but they were already closed. Okay...so we'll take them back Sunday...NO CAN DO, closed on Sunday! Doesn't open until 4pm Monday. Husband takes them back for a REFUND this time only to be told "they've done all they can do" REALLY? I don't think you even came close! If you're going to charge people $29 for a steak THEN hire kitchen staff that knows how to cook them as the paying customer requests! There's a HUGE difference between MR & WD and if you can't cook it accordingly then you should not have steak on your menu!! Since you find yourself in the position of "doing all you can do" then you leave me no choice to "do all I can do" and that will be to dispute the charge with my financial institution! For a business that operates in the food industry, hospitality & customer service Monroe's needs a refresher course ASAP! Staff was pleasant but whoever made the decision to not do the right thing and refund the steaks that weren't edible after the second time & the steaks were brought back to you uneaten, then I'll do the honors of exercising my opinion on every social media platform I can. Would NOT recommend this restaurant! If you want a great steak, frequent a good steakhouse!

The lights went on and we were graced with the most beautiful view of the downtown in the evening that I have ever seen, while sipping a fantastic cocktail. It's not cheap, but also not over-the-top for the quality of drink you get. When we arrived, most of the covered seating and heater areas were already taken, so we ended up sitting in one of the uncovered sections. As it turned out, that was a blessing because the views were amazing. From where we were seated, we had beautiful views of downtown Denver and the surrounding cityscape. Between the skyline, lights, and rooftop atmosphere, it created a memorable evening. What impressed me most was the ambiance. The lounge had a lively but relaxed energy, and people were friendly and approachable. It felt like the kind of place where you could enjoy a date, meet new people, network, or simply unwind with friends over drinks and conversation. My date ordered food, but I honestly don't remember everything he had. I wasn't particularly impressed with the food, but since this is a rooftop lounge, the atmosphere was really the star of the show for me. The line up of comedians was decent; some of the warm-up acts were better than others. Main act was solid. Overall,, an enjoyable way to spend the evening. The bartending staff were working hard all evening, especially before the show kicked off! Whew! Still, the wait wasn't long even given the high volume.
