So I scheduled it right then and there but I was not available to get it done on 3/31 I needed to wait until 4/2. So a week before my surgery I called just to confirm that the $300.00 discount was still going to be honored and the man told me no way. Be very careful what they say there and make sure you get it in writing before leaving.

They are extremely thorough in their exam and made us feel comfortable throughout. Once we had the new prescription, we went to their optical department. Wow - their prices are higher than expected. Appointment was at 10:30 10:30-10:45 waited to be seen 10:45-10:55 brought into the first room and I spoke w/ a very knowledgeable lady. 10:45-11:52 sent to a back waiting area which had no seats available. 11:52-11:59 sent to another patient room waiting for my doctor. 11:59-12:04 saw my doctor and expressed my dissatisfaction w/ sitting for over an hour waiting to which his assistant notified me that I should allocate 2 hours for each appointment. The doctor suggested I try to take an appointment at the beginning of the day. I will try their Arlington Heights facility once but if it's like this I'll sadly have to find a new doctor. If you value your time, I would sadly have to steer you to someone who appreciates your time as much as you do.

She did not seem to care about her attitude towards the patients and just acted like she wanted nothing to do with anyone. They were running extremely late and when they finally called me back, the lady was sooo slow. Then came yet another wait for the doctor. After he finally came in, Dr. Wollin, the ophthalmologist, told me straight up he does not think I need glasses right after the optometrist said that I did and crumpled up the note from the optometrist with the prescription and threw it away. I called him out on that and he told me "If I were trying to sell eyeglasses I would give you a pair but I am not." What is that even supposed to mean? He is just in it for the money and would avoid him and this place at all possible costs. As soon as I left the office, I called another for a consultation.

Dr. Bresch is so…read morefriendly and although she's probably briefed before she comes in to see you, she remembers the smallest things about you. From year to year she just remembers. My Mom went to her. She had a lot of issues with her eyes, Dr. Bresch still talks about her and she passed away almost 7 years ago. She asks about my dad too. Being friendly is something I appreciate, but she is good too. I have diabetes and she takes time to look thoroughly at my eyes. I'm so glad we found Dr. Bresch!

Getting older - I was at risk of Glaucoma and was referred to Dr. Curnyn for a procedure called an…read moreLPI, a laser procedure. She and her team did a full exam which ended up taking a few hours. In the end, I needed surgery on both eyes. And, there was some sense of urgency. The office was able to schedule both procedures (each eye had to be done on separate days). The surgery was relatively painless (the laser stung a little). And, everything has been great since then. I'm moving my optical and ophthalmological business to her. They are professional and very competent.
