First time trying and love! The menu is short and sweet and looking forward to trying the other drinks. I got the matcha lemonade and it was amazing! It had glitter which made it extra fun! Service was great and super fast! Will be back

I will say it did take a little while to get service at first, but honestly the incredible view and perfect weather made it easy to just relax and enjoy the moment while we waited. They started us off with warm sourdough bread and butter, which was the perfect touch. I ordered the prime rib sandwich on sourdough with au jus, and it was absolutely delicious, super flavorful and cooked perfectly. I also got the strawberry vanilla margarita with a sugar rim, and WOW... easily one of the best drinks I've had. So good. My grandparents each ordered the prime rib sliders without the bun with a loaded baked potato and made their own yummy creations, which they loved. The view was amazing and really made the whole experience, and our waitress, Paulina, was so kind and attentive once we got going. Definitely recommend if you're looking for great food, drinks, and a beautiful atmosphere!

We have been coming to this restaurant for years, especially in July during their lobster summer…read more I really try to find the good as well as the not so good, but this time around, I just couldn't. Not sure what happened since the last time we were here but we did not enjoy our evening. For starters, they changed the recipe in the bread for the table, not a big deal, but definitely something to munch on while you are waiting for your meal. 2 out of 5. We ordered salads, steak, lobster, mushrooms, and potatoes. They brought it all out to the table at the same time, even the salad. Our steaks had no flavor and the lobster was very dry and rubbery. We were given some story about the candles being the wrong size for their butter warmers so our server brought us whipped butter for our lobsters..... huh? Given a choice between the warm dinner and a cold salad, the salad never was eaten. 0 out of 5. Out of the 14 tables that we could see in our section, only 4 were occupied. There was not another customer that came into our section during the entire time we were there. The service was just meh. Not sure if we will give them another chance.

I am a long time customer of The Wild Garlic Grill. Generally i have had good food and dining…read moreexperiences. The main problem has been an overly noisy main dining room that makes it difficult to hear conversations at the table. There is always a long list of specials that are read by the server. Never mentioning the price. Last night I ordered a shrimp appetizer that came with 3 grilled shrimp, and an order of halibut. The bill for the 3 shrimp came to $26, and the halibut was $58. Additionally there was a surprise extra charge of 4% added to the total bill that I could not understand even after the server tried to explain it. The food was ok, not anything special and they have markedly reduced the vegetables and salad that usually accompany the entree. Going forward I would suggest that prices be included in the description of the specials and extra charges be posted up front. At this point the prices have become too high for the value of the experience.

We've been coming here for many years since they were in their old location. Noplace else in town does presentation like Wild Garlic. The dishes are always stunning. If you want to impress someone, this is the place to take them. They seem like they are protein focused due to their emphasis on quality steaks and seafood, but the plates have a wide variety of vegetables to accompany the protein. Root vegetables, asparagus, and the sauces really make the meal. It's not like going to a steakhouse where you get a lonely slab of meat - here you get a well-rounded plate. Our server was wonderful - so pleasant, and did a great job of memorizing the specials, because they always are extensive. We don't come here as often as we should - we really love the place.

Called in an order…read morefor pickup during my last trip down to Tucson and waited for several minutes while my food was being completed (which meant my order was hot and fresh), so got a preview of what dining in would be like. Service was attentive and everyone inside was incredibly kind and respectful. Ordered Crab Rangoons and Beef Chow Fun, a couple of staples of mine trying new Chinese restaurants. Rangoons were perfectly crispy, while the chow fun had a delicious wok hei flavor. The noodles and beef were tender and the dish had plenty of onions/green onions/etc. The only thing I didn't care for - and this is a personal preference - is that the chow fun did have a little more star anise/five spice flavor than I care for. Otherwise, the food was hot, fresh, and delicious! Definitely looking forward to returning for a dine in visit to try out the full, very authentic looking menu.

I ate here January 31st 2024, alone, for the very first time when I was attending the Tucson gem…read moreand jewelry show. I got introduced to the existence of this Chinese restaurant that serves pretty authentic Chinese food for being in Tucson from a non Chinese doctor who hangs out with Chinese doctors at his Tucson hospital and they brought him here to eat REAL Chinese food in Tucson. I know this restaurant serves Chinese authentic food because they have a dish that is nothing but "cut off duck heads.". Just so that you know they have non-authentic Chinese food on the menu that only white people know as Chinese food such as gungbao chicken and broccoli beef, as well, if you don't want to order something as strange as the pile of duck heads. I ordered one of my favorite Szechuan dishes here. It is whitefish fillets with pickled vegetables in a soup. It is like a hot sour stew. It was a generous portion for $16.95 that year. But the reason why I am giving this restaurant two stars is because something happened that never happened to me ever in a restaurant in my 73 years of dining experience, Chinese restaurant or other wise. What happened was I like well lit tables. I don't like to sit in the dark. I was dining alone and like to read while I am eating and I said I want this brightest table which was the first one next to the waiting area. It was a table with four independent chairs. After I sat down and was already eating my food the restaurant asked me to move to another table which was a booth in the corner which was the darkest table in the restaurant. I like bright well lit tables because I read while I eat and I always dine alone. The reason why they asked me to move was because four very obese men couldn't fit in that darkest booth in the far corner of the restaurant, because there was no room in the booth for their bellies to fit. They had to sit in the independent chairs at the table where I was sitting and I was only one person eating at that table for four by myself. They could have waited till I was done eating. So I did move when they explained why and I saw the 4 men waiting there, but honestly I don't think this request that I move when I was ready eating at that table would have happened if this were not a Chinese restaurant, and I say that because I am Chinese. That was my first time eating there and I never went back.
