    The tomato soup! Awesome.
    Kevin M.

We popped in here this weekend, while visiting some friends in the area. They wanted lunch, I wanted breakfast. It was a great compromise. It seemed to be a pretty slow Saturday, midday, we got a table really quickly. It took a little bit to have a server come to our table, but they were very attentive once they got there. Of course we had to have the cauliflower dish again, it is one of the best dishes around. We also tried the tomato soup, it was pretty epic as well. I had the basic breakfast, which is always a solid choice. My buddy got the frittata, that came with a really nice salad. A nice brunch type dish. We're a bit disappointed, that the beer that was on the menu wasn't available, but the Plan B Option Beer, was pretty darn good. The ambience of this place is very busy, lots of talking and people enjoying themselves while having a really good meal.

    Oops, another smoked salmon Benedict.

This place is fantastic. Consistent food, great service, amazing flavor with healthy options as well as burgers and fries. We eat here every time we visit Suncadia. Best food in the area, hands down!

Cute and quirky decor, lots of local vibes. Great service even though they were slammed, middle tables are a little small (the two tops) and kind of awkward to dine at. Bloody Mary was okay and same with food. Big portions though and very much appreciated solid menu choices. Also the crispness of the potatoes was perfection Will be back for round two at some point but kinda hard to choose with Logan's across the street haha. Downtown roslyn, super spot for breakfast.

Dang. Unassuming little hole in the wall place, but clean and welcoming. Very family friendly. Small, so don't bring a very large group. The food was super delicious, a bit pricy but it's fresh and delicious! Had fish and chips- absolutely perfect. Lamb burger- everyone loved it, kids cheeseburger. Great service never left us lacking.

    Ham and bean soup

My husband and I stopped in here for lunch on our anniversary trip. Super cute little cafe, and we were seated right away. We both ordered the cup of ham and bean soup, then shared the fried chicken sandwich with fries. The soups were yummy, if a little bland. We had to add quite a bit of salt and hot sauce. But it was hot and warmed us up from the rain. The chicken sandwich, on the other hand, was perfection chicken was perfectly fried, crispy and juicy. And the pickle was delicious. My only regret is that I had to share it with my husband. Definitely a great place and would come back if we are in the area again.

Great ambiance. High prices. Decent food. Friendly service. The tomato soup had an unusual flavor that wasn't my favorite.

Beet salad with Crème fraîche, blackberries, raspberries, hazelnuts and local honey. Yummo!

This place has amazing food and as my good friend would say, "get go" to this establishment. Chef John and team are constantly coming up with new menu items using the freshest, local ingredients. They have a wide variety of wine, a few beers and craft cocktails. I cannot say enough about the food, consistently outstanding and many unique choices

    Fried Chicken and Gravy

Absolute gem. Was fiending for something like a chicken-fried steak, and the fried chicken and gravy here absolutely hit the spot. Gravy was on point, chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside. Partner got the lamb burger and if I'm being honest, burgers might be the way to go here. I peeked at another table and the fish and chips looked great too. Feel like this is a must-hit now when in the area. Service was good, nothing crazy. Liked the vibe as well, felt nicer than a typical diner without being pretentious.

We had spent the night in Cle Elum & we were looking for a spot to grab some breakfast & catch the game on TV...we remembered having popped into this cute spot another time so thought we would see if we could get in on a late Sunday morning. We scored a table & they had a tv over the counter with the game on! Yay!! Hubby had a tasty bacon, cheese & spinach omelet with a tequila driver & I had a fabulous Lox Bagel Sandwich which was just scrumptious! Tons of lox! I washed it down with Tito's & grapefruit juice! Service was friendly & quick!

Place is really good! Breakfast sausage omelet was kind of basic, but tasted great. Roslyn Burger, delicious!! Totally worth it. Got the Roslyn Brewing 22oz beer, and it was.. okay. Not the best, but definitely not the worst. Will go back!

The food was great. Awesome service as well. Welcoming ambiance & gives that original Rosalyn feel. Would definitely come back next time I'm in town!

Amazing food and amazing ambiance. This small Cafe had amazing art inside and the service was outstanding. My self and my boss came out of town to eat there over a hour away and was very satisfied with the food and taste. I would recommend this to anyone that wants good food.

Honestly, if your establishment holds 10 or 100 people, the staff and kitchen should be able to manage that number. We saw one table actually leave after waiting longer than us without their food because they had somewhere else to be. Not great. Once the food finally arrived we were so hungry that I'm certain anything would have tasted good. We didn't complain or ask but they did remove one soda from the tab. It's a cute place with a decent menu but I'm on the fence about bothering to give them another try.

On the rainy morning that we stopped by, there was only one other party in the cafe having breakfast and playing board games. The woman who greeted us behind the counter was warm and friendly. If you enjoy flavored lattes, there are plenty of options here. They even have alcoholic flavorings they can add in -- think Bailey's, to spice up your drink if you're looking to jump start your morning in a different kind of way. I ended up being boring and got an oat milk cappuccino. The espresso in my drink was strong and the oat milk was frothed nicely. In addition to my drink, I also ordered a spinach topped brioche bun, which tasted great warmed up; the brioche was nice and fluffy. If you're looking for a place to sit down for a bit to get some work done, this would also be a great place to go, with plenty of seating available and free Wi-Fi. For the friendly service alone, I would 100% stop by again for a morning coffee.

The medium drip coffee wasn't my all time fav but wasn't bad either! Staff were super nice, and service was quick. There is a huge amount of indoor and outdoor seating; it was a place where you could both be there to read/study or to catch up with friends. Extremely Disappointing Customer Service…read more We stopped at Huxdotter Coffee in North Bend on Friday and ordered a 16 oz PBJ Smoothie, a 16 oz Mango Smoothie, and a ham and cheese croissant through the drive-through. At the window, we received the croissant and the 16 oz PBJ Smoothie, but were handed a 12 oz Mango Smoothie. We immediately pointed out that the drink was the wrong size. Rather than simply acknowledging the mistake and correcting the order, the employee told us that the order had been entered as a 12 oz drink. We reiterated that we had specifically ordered a 16 oz Mango Smoothie. Instead of saying something as simple as, "I'm sorry, we'll remake that for you," we were told that she would have to refund the original charge and then charge us again for the 16 oz drink. Seriously? Apparently, Huxdotter has developed an innovative new approach to customer service: If we make a mistake, the customer gets to fix it. The mistake wasn't ours. We ordered a 16 oz drink, and the employee or the person taking the order entered it incorrectly. Yet instead of taking responsibility for the error and providing the customer service one would reasonably expect, we were essentially given a bureaucratic explanation of why correcting their mistake was going to require additional transactions. We were on our way to an appointment and didn't have time to wait around sorting out an issue that should have taken less than a minute to resolve. We simply said, "Never mind," and left. What is especially disappointing is that this wasn't about the cost of a smoothie. It was about how the situation was handled. Mistakes happen. Good businesses acknowledge them, apologize, and make them right. Telling the customer that they have to go through a refund and repurchase process because the business entered the order incorrectly is simply poor customer service. Unfortunately, this experience left such a bad impression that we won't be going back. There are plenty of coffee shops willing to treat their customers better.

I also added a side of two eggs, which I believe I got over medium. I walked around for a bit while waiting for my order, and when I went to pick it up, one of the guys working there repeatedly asked if everything was all right. I'm not entirely sure what prompted that, but the interaction felt a little awkward. I ate inside at my own table. The French toast itself was good, but definitely too sweet for me. I used maybe three-quarters of the maple syrup they provided, which admittedly didn't help my cause, but even apart from that, the cinnamon-swirl brioche was already quite sweet. If you're ordering it, I'd recommend going easy on the syrup at first and adding more as needed. Overall, decent post-race brunch and the French toast tasted good, but between the sweetness and the slightly awkward experience, I'd give it 3/5. 3/5 stars Last visited: August 30, 2026
