Both times I've visited the owner and other staff member (maybe her Mom?) have been so kind and welcoming. This makes all the difference and honestly makes me come back to see what's new next time I'm in the area. Parking can be found nearby (in front of the Jimmy Johns). At first glance, parking looks completely stupid. It looks as though there are only two parking spots, frequently taken by the employees. This isn't actually the case, though. But we didn't figure that out until months later. Had we figured it out sooner, we'd have been there more often. Now that we know, we will do just that. There's actually a shared lot to the south of the building; it's easy to miss so keep your eyes open! This is no ordinary thrift shop. They've got the coolest, most iconic goodies from eras past. Being an 80s kid, this little shop is packed full of delights I recognize from those days. Toys, old cameras, collectibles, footwear, memorabilia.... they've even managed to stuff an old VW Beetle inside. Rad. Oh and the vintage clothing! Good gravy, it's everywhere! It's perfect for us, as cosplayers. We've found so many pieces for our cosplays here that we couldn't find anywhere else at way better prices than ordering online. Love this shop! Admittedly, my slight claustrophobia creeps up when inside but that's because this place is SO stuffed full of spectacular vintage goodness. This time I abandon the better half and went outside, with her telling me she was almost done. After about a half hour I returned to find out WTF. She was in line to check out, 4 people deep with about 8 more behind her. I literally waited another 15+ minutes for her to get up to an open cash register where initially there were only two open. A third opened ad one register was usurped by a couple of women with about 15 items, which wasn't a bad thing; but the clerk was on Thorazine or something and moved like molasses. All I can say is that I was so glad to finally get out of this place! The better half commented that this was the worst Burlington she's been in. I believe her.

This particular store is very organized and clean, although they reorganize everything frequently. They have a lot of nice stock, typical of a department store, and plenty of sales at all times. Unlike the "good old days," I have never seen anyone work the floor. Maybe it's the time we go and we just miss them? The only employees I have actually seen are the cashiers. They are quite nice and polite. They are very COVID-19 aware and practically scrub the area after every customer. Some of the best I've seen anywhere.
